Your math is a little bit off - Rudiger, Christensen, Azpi, Sarr out makes it 4 leaves (Colwill was not here last season so he shouldn't count). Koulibaly, Fofana/Gvardiol, Ampadu makes it 3. 3 for 4 sounds much better than 2 for 5.

I take it as that: - FDJ would prefer to stay in Barca - but if Barca force him out than two clubs intersted in him is us and Man Utd (I don't know why Bayern is not interested, propably don't want to overpay for him) - so it's us vs Man Utd - both clubs need rebuild, Man Utd has as many holes as us, had bad season, new coach etc, so it's not like they are stable great project (maybe next year it will be different if Ten Hag will stabilise things up). And propably the biggest advantage for us this season is that we have CL.
