Its also hard to just say outright that Pep is a better manager than RDM... When your team has messi iniesta and xavi, im sure its not too hard for the manager and he doesn't have that many hard decisions to make.... You go in tell them to train the same as they normally do... Then say give ball to messi.... Messi you put ball in the goal.... I guarentee you RDM had so many more tactical decisions to make than pep.... Also im not saying Pep is a bad manager im just saying comparing managers who are in charge of completely different teams is extremely hard to do.... But RDM > PEP....

RDM set us out how he did as he felt it gave us the best chance to win... We wern't playing highly defensive football in the prem, and with the aditions we have made/are making he will have more options.... I don't dislike pep but he is always given the highly attacking football mantra but if RDM was in charge of barca then he would obviously play highly attacking football... You can only work with what you have in the team... RDM for the job all the way....

RDM, only man i want there... if winning 2 cups isnt good enough to stay on then nothing is... Also he is a chelsea legend.... Give him a chance

Definately loan him out, as several have stated already we have so many players in similar positions that realistically he probably wont get a look in. A loan season would give him the chance to stand out and show everyone what he can do... No point selling him, especially at his age... Give him the chance to prove himself in the prem then in the future a spot in the team may be waiting for him.

i agree josh should go somewhere we he can get play time and when he is 21 or so, give him his shot, people are often too quick on writing off players and the kid is only 19... Give him a break. he has great potential, just needs to harness that and a season playing regularly in the premier league will help him greatly...

I said if we were to buy a right back we need one that gives us the attacking and defensive options similar to which ashley cole gives us at LB... Thats how it started... I agree i think Ivan is good enough and is great in the air and makes us solid defensively, though as i said earlier, if roman wants to buy an extra RB i am not opposed to it.

i was saying he goes forward more creating more options in an attacking sense, with his pace etc.. wouldnt you agree that although IVAN scores more bos is a more attacking option at RB....? unless its the last 10 seconds and we have a corner...

we can all pick out mistakes of every player not tracking back... I.e. Torres when he was meant to be defending vs barca missed a tackle and kept running forwards, we got it and all of a sudden he was one on one and scored.. Yes he makes mistakes like everyone,... I wasn't saying he was faultless just a response to you saying we should retire ashley cole, he is still an amazing player for us... I can go get a video of his excellent defending to help prove my point if you would like but i feel it wouldnt convince you...

Ashley cole has been one of the solid performers the whole season.... One day the time will come for bertrand to take over but ashley cole has got at least 2 more years of play at the peak of his game.... Im amazed, name me another LB in the prem who covers more ground than him week in week out... And i am not saying Ivan hasn't scored more goals in fact i am not talking about goals, but Bos roams forward a lot more providing more options up ahead wheras Ivan doesn't roam forward as much... I prefer Ivan alot more than Bos, im not arguing that i am saying they have different styles, but cant do both like ashley. Ivan scored more than Cole yet we dont play him at LB..... being an attacking option doesn't mean you score more, but it forces the defense to move pick up another player, overlaping options etc....

Watch the first or second legs vs barca and say that.... Retire ashley cole.....

Im sorry, what????? Ashley cole is still one of the best LB's in the world.... I dont know what games you have been watching, but if you had watched the whole champions league campaign in several of the matches he should have been man of the match and not just becuase of goaline clearences.... "Please retire ashley cole".... Am starting to wonder if your actually being serious....

Watch the game against england on saturday he was everywhere on the pitch even though he was apparantly a ST there.... I think he can play anywhere and if he is on the left he has the backup of ashley cole being there as well meaning he will have the license to roam about wherever he wants whilst linking up with mata who is more central.... Also with him being right footed he will be more adept to cutting inside so he wont have to be an out and out winger.

Yeah but as with any position if he takes that and trains him for it in the summer then it could work. I dont think one half is enough to say he cant play there. obviously we dont know whether it was something they went through in training and he still couldnt do it in which case its fair enough and we will do something else. I would think David would work extra hard to learn it as it would mean a starting place in the team...

The number 11 shirt should be retired... along with the number 8 once frank is done and the 26 shirt for obvious reasons.. Hazard should wear 10.5

i think the problem is that Ivan is a great defensive right back and bos is a great attacking right back and there is no balance. for example ashley Cole is amazing at both. i think if Roman wants to buy one then why not though if we are smart we could play Ivan in the tougher games then in the easier fixtures play someone like David Luiz there as it gives him a bit more license to roam forward and can still do a good job at the back as we saw through the progression of last season.

Tottenham (if they can keep thier midfield in tact) relegated Liverpool(because i hate them with a passion) Arsenal (they will lose RVP and because i hate them with a passion) and Reading (dont think they will be good enough though in dont hate them)....
