  1. I would say 90% done.. Even SSN are reporting about it... I assume they just need to iron out some personal terms, but the fee has been agreed as far as i am aware.
  2. Well even if we don't get that far in all competitions then your still looking at around 55 games which is a big season...
  3. Put it this way; there are only 11 spots but what could be around 60 games (haven't worked anything out just a guess), rotation will be key, and we will no doubt have the strongest/second stronget bench in the premier league. And at times last season it felt like we had one plan and if that wasn't working we didn't ever change it where as now with the exciting young talent we have we can try all sorts of different things which will be great...
  4. Didn't we have one of those....? May have been a dream though.
  5. Cavani is definately a great striker, but i would rather give torres another chance, so unless we are buying him to play on the right (which i highly doubt), then i would rather have Hulk so we can fill a postion which is more essential atm... We also still have Lukaku, who needs to be given a chance at some point, as well as sturridge who with his ability to play all over the front 3 will be a very useful squad player and it would destroy torres as atm he knows he is our number 1, and then we would have 50 mil torres on the bench or 35 mil cavani. Spend it on a RW IMO.
  6. Also brazils youth team or B team isn't exactly easy to get into either. Also at chelsea Oscar can learn from one of the best, Super frankie.
  7. I am a "pre abramovic" fan and i like the signing. Yes 25 mil is a lot of money for a player, though we are chelsea and the truth is every club sees us coming and hikes up the prices... no way around that. Roman will pay so they try and get as much as possible. Nothing we can do about the signings and i support him. And providing we apply to all FFP regulations etc, then im not too worried whether its 20 mil or 25 mil, provided the player is great or has great potential... Also if he doesn't turn out to be a worldbeater his age gives him resale value. Rather this than spend 15 mil on a 30 year old player who wont be able to get anything back if it doesn't work.
  8. I was assuming that would probably be the case anyway with hazard at LW. Though they should all be pretty free flowing so the positions would be flexible.
  9. Bangor city FC....? If he wins l think the award ceremony would be hilarious with messi sitiing there waiting for his award and they say leslie davies... WTF came to mind.... Is he even in the wales team?
  10. Also two torres' would just get confusing...
  11. So what i said was an observation which was correct so i don't get you are disgreeing with me on. I would start Lukaku for belgium, simply stating that he doesn't and no offence but the brazil team is better than the belgium team...
  12. The people in brazil seem to think he is pretty good and i hear they arn't short on good players.. After all you don't just walk into the brazilain team without having something good... Also why does it have to be KDB or Oscar atm they are both chelsea players both have great potential and are both really young, and will have time to show how good they are.
  13. As of right now probably Oscar, though i don't see what the surprise is... Lots of people post virtual lineups on here and none of them have KDB in them as yet... It also depends how we set up, who we are playing against and what our needs are. Though tbh i would play Lampard over everyone, because he is the greatest thing since sliced bread... But in all seriousness the people in charge may seem like they just go nuts over a player and buy him, but they know what they are doing and arn't stupid. In RDM i trust and he will do whats best for our club...
  14. Furthermore, its not like he has no re-sale value, if things don't work out we could sell him and get some of the money we lost back making it less of a gamble, though i believe and are hoping that it will not be the case. Also its another example of us getting one over on the Spuds which is priceless.
  15. I believe that Oscar isn't a must have signing though can be very benficial to us becuase he is young, extremely talented and has the potential to become one of the best players in his postion. That does not mean he will... Young transfers are always a gamble, and a 25 mil gamble is a bit of a big one, but his youth gives him time and would be able to make him better... Put it this way, why do you believe that this is a terrible signing?
  16. When did i say KDB should be sent on loan....
  17. IF oscar comes, which i don't want to be overconfident about seeing how this is a bit like a yoyo, i am reasonably confident he will be brought in to be a starter, and theres no resemblence between lukaku and Oscar... Lukaku doesn't start that much for belgium yet Oscar starts for brazil, that pretty much says it all doesn't it?
  18. Lol, i love how this can turn from having quotes saying its pretty much done and not going to happen to reports we have signed him.... :)m
  19. Lol, i was waiting for someone to comment on that. Its ok we can buy Rooney and he can clean his socks, to make it more racially exceptable.
  20. You telling me you don't want this...
  21. Any Manchester united defender. I.e. Johnny evans or phil Jones. Except ferdinand, we should buy him so he can clean JT's Boots.
  22. Ofc he knows that. It was the way in which he was automatically disregarded and wasn't even a feature in the big games.RDM knows what Lampard can offer and i am sure Lamps will trust his judgement. Obvioulsy Lampard will want to play every game and i would find it weird if he didn't. He knows he wont be able to though, he will still have a huge role to play this season, be it from starting or making an impact of the bench.
  23. We will have to play Rush Left back, the less well known version of Rush goalie.
  24. I love the idea of our team having a big physical presence, though realistically, we need arial threats, which we have, ivanovic and terry are very useful from set pieces, and torres although he is no drogba in power wise still is 6ft and can be useful target upfront. Also with the fact that the refs seem to whistle if you breath on someone would make nimble players even more useful, when we play teams like stoke which will try and intimidate our great attack physically. I am very much for Hulk coming but just saying it isn't just because of his physical strength. He has a great record as well. Yes its in a weaker league though as i have said before he can only play against what is put in front of him, and a chance in the big leagues could rrally make him into an amazing player.
