  1. Good luck. Have got a little on, but using 365's free bet offer, as some backup in case.
  2. Have no idea why, but i just can't watch it on ITV? Even though i can watch that in HD and skysports not in HD...
  3. Going for the get rich option lol. You get around 60/1? 6 grand if that comes in...
  4. Got the champions league final, a chelsea match and then froch vs kessler. Not a bad combo.
  5. Why get rid of torres? IMO, to simply draw a line under it. Move on. It's been 3 years and its clearly not gonna happen. He improved a bit to the end of the season so if we can get a bit of money for him, i would take it. There seems to be a torres shadow that lingers everywhere. He shows a glimpse of what he used to do and everyone gets excited etc, but it never really works out that well. With Mourinho i actually think he is one of the few managers who may be able to escape on that and play the players on merit, and bench torres if thats what it comes down to. He has played a lot more games. But the Ba vs Torres thing isn't even the issue. We would only get rid of them if we had a replacement and all the reports seem to suggest we could be bringing in a big name striker, in which case i would love to see that player (whoever it is) as no.1, with Lukaku being the no.2, to get lots of minutes in the season. Meaning both of them would get pushed out.
  6. Watching the build up for the highlights of last year lol.
  7. I agree with you................................... if we were in 2008! Demba ba outscored torres in the premier league this season, and played way fewer games, if you wanna compare numbers. We have 3 trophies in two years which is great, but on a season long basis we are woeful in terms of striking options for a top club in europe. Just compare our strike forces with Man utd, man city, barca, real, juve, atletico, napoli, bayern, dortmund etc. Also we have won two of those trophys mainly through will and determination, not because of our "current" striker options. Also for two of those trophies we had a certain legend named Didier Drogba. Lukaku is head and shoulders ahead of both of them.
  8. Lol, i just read some of this. Torres has scored a "few" crucial goals for us, which is great, but then they seem to think that only torres could score those in which case it is laughable.
  9. Nah, we'll sing it forever! But officially yeah. You never know, i'm rooting for endless penalties.
  10. Gone with Lewy to score first between 21-45 mins 18/1. Tenner on it.
  11. I wouldn't put it past uefa. The demand for that would be huge. Personally i would rather it not happen atm, as i like the way its set out. CL is the pinnacle at the moment. I fully agree. Players want to win that more than a league title, but Falcao is going to a team without champions league football.
  12. Should be a great match... Rooting for dortmund. Bayern messing up in two consecutive finals would be pretty funny.
  13. Exactly, which emphasises the point and differential between the two. The PL is one of the toughest leagues in the world which is why players often want to play here. Along with La liga etc. Put it this way. Will falcao ever be considered truly on that top bracket with Ronaldo and Messi if he plays in ligue 1 from now on? I don't think so. He will always be known as a great player, which he is but he has a chance of being truly great. Whatever he does next season, there will always be a lot of people saying... Its only the french league. In several years time that league could change and be considered one of the best but it isn't right now. But as i said its his choice, and if thats what he wants to do then fair enough.
  14. Thats what i was talking about. But the league is also important. And besides Monaco are not even in the champions league, which is my point.
  15. Yeah, but there is a difference between going to a top league like EPL or La liga and with all due respect a poor league like ligue 1. Add to that the fact that the big teams have champions league football etc and can compete for the top trophys make it a different scenario. Players going to these clubs where there is just one team are clearly going for the money as its not like they actually love the team or the league. Of course they come partly for the money as well when they go to the bigger more famous teams, but there is still a part of them that wants the success, and love to win. It's their choice, they can go where they want but it just seems like a bit of a waste of talent, when they could be at the pinnacle of the sport elsewhere.
  16. But it is funny how we are linked to a new player every day with the rumour being... "Jose liked him at real".
  17. I would love modric here. Just to see him go the one place tottenham didn't want him to be at. Great player for the pivot.
  18. Lol if Monaco do an upscale qpr and get relegated.
  19. Lol, its still freaking hot though. Having a sauna in brazil would be a bit like selling ice in iceland.
