Chelsea will never play him in the first team from a mere pre-season. No point being excited by his recent performances. Until we see a major change at this club money/system wise then the best we can hope for is a successful loan spell that forces Chelsea to acknowledge him.

Don't think he's going anywhere myself but hope I'm wrong. He doesn't contribute to anything in this team, but we all know that.

This could go two ways: He will provide godlike through-balls like we hope... Or he will be passing sideways a lot. I really hope we don't play a possession game like Arsenal does currently.

Fabregas, Costa, and Luis so far. If Ba is going I think Lukaku will stay. We will still have a strikeforce of 3; Torres, Costa and Lukaku, so I don't think we will buy another forward. One more signing this summer I reckon, depending how the market develops. If we sell Mikel/Ramires for exp.

Player + cash deals are rare so I doubt it. What player could we get with Mikel? He will be sold to a mid table team.
