  2. I'd start Oscar without a shadow of a doubt. For me I'd expect Ivan...Cahill...Luiz...Cole .......Ramires...Mikel...... ...Mata...Ocar...Hazard.. ..............Torres.............. Though can't say I'd be surprised to see Bertrand or Ramires on the wing. I just think that we have been so good since RDM decided to be proactive and take control of games. I'd rather see those three behind Torres and give Spurs more problems to deal with, than back off and take our threat away to deal with Bale and co. Tottenham have to be absolutely terrified of that front 4. Play them.
  3. I've stopped hoping for moves because then all you get is nice surprises. And oh my word this would be a nice surprise. Like to see Utd rock up to the bridge and defend a front 4 of Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Neymar haha. Still think he's off to Barca tho
  4. I was in a good mood until i saw both of these... I'm gonna go binge eat to cheer up
  5. Who the hell is that?? That's appalling
  6. I don't understand this to be perfectly honest. Falcao is one of the top 3 legitimately "available" (i.e not messi/ronaldo) strikers in the world. We need a striker. Therefore if he becomes available, for me, he is a must buy. He is a massive upgrade, no question.
  7. Really looking forward to seeing a Ramires/Lampard pivot. And I like when we play two of Oscar/Mata/Hazard in the three alongside a proper winger. REALLY looking forward to this
  8. Oh man he was fantastic!! You're welcome back any time Michael!
  9. Can't imagine he'll start all three of our number 10s...
  10. From what I've seen (and I haven't gotten all the way through the full highlights for Juventus or Arsenal yet), this guy is playing really nicely. I think it's pretty short-sighted to judge Oscar purely on his attacking prowess. Marking Pirlo out of the game is in my opinion much more impressive than what he did offensively. Of course yes we needed the goals, but limiting one of the best deep-lying playmakers in the world to nigh-on spectator status is fantastic. I think Oscar's defensive work makes a band of three of Oscar, Hazard and Mata a lot more viable. If he can limit playmakers ability to distribute, AND link up with the attack, he is going to be a vital, vital player in years to come. Not knee-jerk but I am very, very excited about this guy.
  11. Massive win. And nice to see Robbie being a bit more adventurous with his team selection, our band of number 10's will soon be all-conquering! Onwards and upwards!
  12. That is one of the best goals I've ever seen
  13. http://www.time4tv.com/2011/09/sky-sports-2.html Sky Sports 2
  14. From players I've seen, it's a straight fight between Lamps and Drogba. Can't pick one right now though, I'll sleep on it. Always loved watching Jimmy Floyd and Eidur link up though. Great fun.
  15. Guess this means Torres is set for 90. Curious to see what would happen if he doesn't last the whole game. I would guess replacement would be Moses? r maybe some crazy false 9 stuff with Hazard. Robbie you do intrigue me.
  16. Confirmed? That's interesting. Would have thought Mata was one of the first names down vs Juventus, regardless of fitness... Oscar's a boss though, come on the Chels!!
  17. I know I know it's full of stats but it's also a very good read. I believe in Obi! http://www.eplindex.co.uk/18194/influence-john-obi-mikel-stats-analysis.html
  18. Was always one of my fav players but don't think he'd be such a great move considering the new direction we're going in. Wouldn't be a particularly clever move on the board's part to have this vison for a new style of football, clean house with Essien and Meireles and then bring in Ballack? No point IMO. Much rather see him back for his coaching badges, maybe Sheva too...
  19. Completely agree with first bit, Maradona over Pele any day of the week. Messi getting awfully close though. Maybe when he beats Chelsea
  20. A fair point. Misguided in the belief that a move to Russia will further his career and aid him in achieving his goal of being seen as a top player in the top band of world football. Better?
  21. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that he's not as thick as Hulk and Witsel...
  22. Happy. We didn't get screwed by anyone. Pleased we stayed firm on Hulk. He would have been nice but after Moses, essentially a luxury. Hazard is God. Oscar looks promising and Azpi and Moses will be good players too. Fingers crossed Marin stays healthy and I'm a happy boy.
