To be perfectly honest it's not like he's missing sitters every week is he?We are shit at creating chances and have been for a while...we have 3 insanely creative players behind him,yet offer hardly any offensive threats against teams like Fulham...we can't expect Premier League defenders to part like the red sea out of sheer reverence for Mazacar in every game...

One day Luiz is going to do that (while trying to find Torres with a long ball)....

We should have timed our transition such that it coincided with the expansion of the Champions League...that way we wouldn't have had to worry about finishing in the top 4...

From all the reports in the media it seems Huntelaar himself is developing an interest in a move to Arsenal,he knows he could become top-dog there...but then again Hazard could have moved to any club in the world, but he chose us over everyone else...

Just last week Barca fielded an entirely home-grown 11 against Levante...imagine Chelsea doing the same in a few years with all Brazilians..!!!

The NEW Oscar? Sort of insinuates that Oscar is old already... Besides how many oscars do we need? According to wikipedia Spencer Tracy,Fredric March,Gary Cooper,Marlon Brando,Dustin Hoffman,Tom Hanks,Jack Nicholson,Daniel Day-Lewis & Sean Penn all have 2 oscars each...guess we could do with one more..

Found a pretty decent sopcast stream on livetv.ru... I really can't see where a goal might come from,we don't have a single goalscorer on the pitch at the moment...brana could be our best chance...why does Luiz have to step up for every free-kick?Even Alex didn't do that....

Mata looked a little out of sorts in the first half against City...could have been fatigue or just an off day, nonetheless a little rest wouldn't harm him...

I think JT's handle is j26terry,I know that Mata is quite active on Instagram...you could try oninstagram.com to find more...

This weekend at Levante Barca cantered to a 4-0 victory using only home-grown players for a large part of the game. After Daniel Alves was replaced by Martin Montoya in the 14th minute the 11 Barcelona players on the pitch were Victor Valdes, Martin Montoya, Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Pedro, Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas, all products of Barcelona's La Masia academy.... I wish we could do that... :blue scalf:

I just watched the show (The Verdict on ESPN India)... Parker is usually quite diplomatic and said that Chelsea fans are different from all other sets of fans he has played for, they are somewhat unforgiving and tend not to forget things,as suggested by banner at the City game... Steve McMahon who was with him on the panel intervened to ask 'So basically you are saying that the Chelsea fans are the worst set of fans you have played for?",to which Parker remorselessly replied "Yes." God I hate these guys, provoking each other to elicit controversial comments and increase TRPs at the same time...

Sometimes it's difficult to believe our players practise together everyday considering the alarming regularity with which they fail to find each other....Mata,Hazard and even Ramires at times tried to dribble out of tight situations when they could easily have taken the safer option of passing to a player in close proximity, and in the process cheaply turned over possession inside our own half...c'mon guys,we all know how talented you are and you don't have to prove it to us in every match....it;s a team game after all, some our players seem to have limited faith in their teammate's abilities and hence are looking to take on too much responsibility for the sake of the team...which is precisely the reason why individual brilliance has outshone our collective quality even when we have played well...I hope Rafa has a strong enough spine to instill that in the team....

Good effort sir,but a little more reference to the current context in the montage would have been nice... :blue scalf:

Maybe he was referring to the other Cole...but I can't remember him slagging Chelsea off as an Arsenal player or fan...if any of them thought ill of Chelsea and didn't express it we can't grudge them that....

Zenden, who was apparently stunned about the "madness" of his swift appointment said: 'I thought, 'I'd better start packing my stuff and try to sort out a flight', because it really happened so fast.' I hope he doesn't have to repeat those words anytime soon...

Opta have just announced they will shortly be publishing a special edition of this list called Weeks Per Goal to accommodate Torres...hold your breath...

Why is Fergie so openly jealous of Benitez for winning a trophy he won just 4 years ago?The CWC isn't the most coveted trophy among top managers is it? If he wanted to take a dig he could have just referred to his bronze statue unveiled yesterday....strange...

A rant about rants.... We have had too many diplomatic managers of late,it would be a refreshing change to see a Chelsea manager who would proffer a spontaneous rant of his own volition or succumb to the inducement of the media...I for one wouldn't entirely disapprove if the media is able to elicit such a response from RB,as I believe it would take some of the pressure off the team...great managers have always done that,Fergie,Wenger,Redknapp,Keegan,Mourinho have all indulged in it to shift the focus off the players in difficult times....I'll actually prefer a passionate fulmination over the sort of pragmatic discourses that our recent gaffers seemed to have been capable of...the next time someone like Clattenburg costs us a match,Rafa's unequivocal condemnations would probably earn him a touchline ban,but I would take that over an apologetic explanation any day of the week...we loved Jose for his adoption of innovative methods to flout UEFA's touchline ban,we appreciated AVB for vehemently defending David Luiz in the wake of Neville's playstation comment,I'm sure RB will win us over with his unbridled displays of passion for the club...
