  1. Surprised nobody has posted this. According to sources in England, Chelsea are ready to make the first formal offer for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke (AS) #CFC #Atletico €60m is required and what #CFC are willing to offer to acquire the services of Koke. Mourinho has already given his approval. (AS) #Atletico Make it happen Jose.
  2. I think we can all agree Jose has been over-conservative in a lot of our big matches this season. If we manage to win the league, hopefully a lot of the pressure will be off his shoulders. I hope he will know exactly what to do in the summer transfer window to increase the team's flexibility in terms of playing different styles at different stages of the game. Koke - Will allow us to keep the ball and also have an eye for goal when the team is ahead. Him being a very complete player gives us a huge advantage in these situations. Varane - Cahill has been a disgrace this season and loses it when the slightest things go against him. Varane will be our present and our future alongside Zouma. Kondogbia - We really can't expect Fabregas to be battling it out in midfield. If the team is under huge pressure and we need more defensive qualities on the pitch, Kondogbia is our answer. Positionally very good unlike Ramires and Mikel and attacking wise he good as well. Other option: Khedira. Icardi/Dybala - I feel the need for another striker because Drogba doesn't seem to cut it anymore. Most of top teams have more than 1 world class strikere and although these two are not world class, they have a huge potential to be so. Also I really can't find a striker who is willing to sit on the bench.
  3. Literally -100% of him coming here, or even anywhere (in the next two seasons.)
  4. Oscar does have the potential to be a world class player, it's just his lack of consistency and certain liabilities in his game that are making him look unable to be a great #10 and imo the reason we should sell him and make better investments in that area of the pitch.
  5. I don't think all this fake injury talk is true. Why would Diego switch to Spain? Surely it was because he actually wanted to play which is the chance Scolari never gave him. That being aside, he has a very strong and dedicated character and it would be very unnatural of him to do such a thing.
  6. I think we've had him for long enough to realize he is a striker that needs to play games. Whenever he has got an injury or suspension this season, when he omes back it takes 3 or 4 games for him to be his typical self. I hope this break doesn't affect him too much as we're entering the most important stage of our campaign.
  7. Don't want him here. Too tactically stupid to play alongside our players. I think he is better suited to a team where he will be the main man.
  8. َYou can't be shit if can barely touch the ball. Man doesn't look interested in playing and doesn't have fucking clue what is going on when his team is attacking. Lack of tactical flexibility, nothing new for someone from Britain who moves to another country.
  9. This guy is a dream to watch and he has to start every game. Anybody think he'll be great in midfield? He has every ability to play there.
  10. Tbh I hope this is an excuse for him to not be part of Spain's squad. They're gonna injure him anyway.
  11. Cahill & Ivanovic motm. Takes effort to be that bad.
  12. Words cannot describe how shit Cahill and Ivanovic are. Playing these mongs when we've got Zouma and Azpi on the bench is a crime.
  13. Very happy Luis is starting, unhappy that Azpi is benched instead of Ivanovic.
  14. Honestly I feel jealous when I watch Atletico's press and defending. For me, in the modern day of football that's how centre-backs have to defend. Miranda for example, knew exactly when to press and when to stop the press and go back into position and did his job perfectly. I don't like the backing off and keeping your position all the time, something that all of our centre-backs do. I think a combination of each style would be the ideal solution in our team, one classic, English centre-back who stays in position at all times and his pair would be someone like Miranda, sort of like the Jt & Carvalho partnership we had 10 years ago.
  15. I wish we would press against psg just like Atleti are pressing against Leverkusen. Our pressing was non-existent after Ibra's sending off.
  16. The number of times I see him make great runs only to see him not get picked out by the player who had the ball is pretty incredible. Schurrle was the same by the way, made great runs but nobody found him. I think he would do much better if we actually tried to create chances for him, like we did in the beginning of the season.
  17. Should have brought him on midway through the game. Would have made Hazard's job - who was playing fantastically - much easier with his overlapping runs and also give us an alternative in terms of attacking with his crosses.
  18. Obviously the referee will be under pressure because of all the media campaign against us during the week. Wouldn't be surprised if I don't see at least 2 uncalled penalties.
  19. I don't mind him celebrating the goal, after all it was a very emotional goal at the end of the game and anybody would have done it. You can't criticize him for what he did on the pitch, he did that in Chelsea too and at the end of the story whatever happens on the pitch stays on the pitch. He has that character about him that sets him aside from every other player. Huge passion, a natural-born winner. In fact, despite him being 27 years old, I believe he is the most talented defender in the world and would be one of the best if he was consistent enough and didn't make those silly mistakes every once in a while. The world cup made him look like a shit player to all football fans - including the ones on TC - but we forgot he was great for us in his last season and in 2012/13.
  20. He has a false bad reputation around him but people who have worked with him have always said he is a professional. It was class to handle that red card situation in such calm manner that he showed.
  21. If Jose really wants to continue with the same approach, then why not just replace Fabregas with Kondogbia, Hazard with Milner, etc? As far as I'm concerned playing this type of game not only minimzes players like them's strength, but costs us a result as well because they are not suited to this style of play. Its the Ferrari and Fiat deal all over again. Either keep the Ferrari and drive it like one or get a Fiat and drive it like a Fiat.
  22. Sell him, hasn't showed any signs of improvement in the past three years. 99% of games he has no sense of urgency, terrible passing, weak mentality and overall poor displays. Sometimes he looks like he doesn't even want to play.
