  1. I truly like Hiddink. I hope he gets us playing good attacking Football and prepares us for the next season. Also, don't underestimate the importance of his ability to handle himself in the media and not cause any headlines that put the club under pressure creates which will create 'peace' within the club. This is gonna be very vital.
  2. You speak of passion for the club but Mourinho's claims of having passion for the club are more evident in words than they are in action. Is blaming the referees going to help the club given the horrible situation we're in? Shifting the blame towards everybody else? What about putting yourself above the club? Let's not forget the game against West Ham where the team needed a leader most and he got himself sent off. Hazard has shown passion for the club on so many instances, one of them being the away game at Tottenham where he gave one of the best performances I've ever seen from a Chelsea player despite the fact we got thrashed. Some need to realize Mourinho has created a toxic and volatile atmosphere within the club and as a player, you can only shine in the environment for so long.
  3. Mourinho embarrasses the club week in week out whether it's through his tactics and team selection or his atrocious post-match interviews. He even goes to the extent of putting himself above the club: "If the club sack me, they have sacked the best manager they have ever had." What is the result? Jose Mourinho chants. A player like Hazard who last season gave it his all in a system that prevented him from expressing his best abilities. Only after 4 months of poor form, people who barely know how to spell his name call him a rat without any type of concrete evidence that proves he had anything to do with all this. The irony here is a disgrace. I'll give it to Mourinho though, he has managed to create a cult by brainwashing so many fans by making himself the victim and the players the rats. They ignore whatever he does and have a go at the players at the slightest chance. The Manipulator One.
  4. I swear some people here are more concerned about the future of Mourinho rather than the future of the club. I personally couldn't give a fuck where he goes. Actually, I would love to see him miserably FAIL at his next club, especially if it is United.
  5. I don't blame the players for their extra motivation today. I would have been motivated too if the stubborn boss who blamed everybody but himself is gone. Playing well after a manager's departure is very normal in Football. But I guess in our case all the players are rats and should have been sacked before Mourinho? Anyways, happy with the three points. What's done is done, I hope these Mourinho chants were just a sign of respect and we won't be hearing them in the next game.
  6. What has Simeone done to give you this impression? Remember that we're not talking Football here. It's quite obvious that his personality is nothing like Jose's. Simeone doesn't build that siege mentality which only lasts for a while anyways(Simeone has been at Atletico for 5 years) and more importantly doesn't bring the club's image down by making ridiculous statements in the press. I would say Simeone is much more passionate than Mourinho on the pitch and much less of a shit disturber on the outside. I've always found Simeone an alright gentleman. I still wouldn't want him here though but that's just me. I like someone who focuses more on the attacking sides of the game.
  7. I bet the fact cunt has barely even watched a Chelsea game in the last few months.
  8. I don't understand how anyone can claim sacking Mourinho would destroy our stability. A manager's longevity at the club has nothing to do with the stability of that club. I also don't understand the obsession with having a Fergie-like manager. The longevity of a manager at a club does not guarantee success. If we had a separate footballing identity as a club like Barcelona or even as someone said Southampton, changing managers every 3 years wouldn't be a problem as long as we signed managers who can continue with our philosophy. Whether it is attractive and attacking Football with an eye on the development of youth or counter-attacking football focused on buying players that are already world class, it is important for the board to understand they have to pick a philosophy and stick with it and realize you can't have it both ways. I feel our club still hasn't learned its lesson. I see rumours that indicate the likes of Simeone and Ancelotti as possible replacements. Even if it has the slightest truth to it, it shows they don't know where they want the club headed. It shows that they are focusing on the most trendy managerial options rather than focusing on those who can satisfy our needs of creating stability within the footballing philosophy of our club.
  9. Sorry but I disagree. Matuidi is on another level as a b2b mid to Ramires. His passing is absolutely legendary when compared to Ramires. He can also have a crack at goal. Just watch our first leg against psg last season. He was involved in so many of their chances. Not to mention he was serving glorious crosses the entire game
  10. Our players weren't the best today but the talk of them not trying today is nonsense. It was the lack of attacking football ideas that cost us the three points today, nothing more.
  11. Just waiting for his defendants. Their excuses should cheer me up a bit.
  12. I did this. I did that. What a narcissistic deluded bastard. He has lost it all; control of the dressing room, control of the club's image, collective attacking quality, results, etc. How can one defend him anymore is beyond me.
  13. No Fabregas! Hallelujah! GOD EXISTS.
  14. If I see Fabregas on the bench I will scream in joy.
  15. Given the way Leicester press Fabregas will get torn a new one(as usual). If Fabregas warms the bench, I can see us schooling these bastards and putting them back in their place.
  16. Buy a midfield general. They are the heart of the team. Someone who can do it all. We have so many players who can do this but not that. We missed out on Vidal in the summer, lets see what comes next. I want pogba at the end of the season but that would be a dream even if we did qualify for Champions league. Now we have to find hidden gems. Or we can do a repeat of 2012. Anyone with me?
  17. Today I went to school buzzing and couldn't wait for the game start until I heard that one of the senior girls at the school who I've had many classes with has passed away in a car accident in the night before. The entire year 12 grade/year group were absolutely devastated. I wasn't feeling normal at all either but this win cheered me up. Thank you Chelsea! KTBFFH
  18. What a player. I thought that was an incredible performance. His recovery and strength after Corona went through on goal gave me the chills. If we buy Stones, him and Zouma will be a formidable partnership. A powerhouse in Kurt, and a ball playing centre-back in Stones who is much more matured than his age suggests will make us set for a decade.
  19. I don't agree with your definition of stability. Peace wrote an outstanding post regarding stability not so long ago and used two perfect examples alongside his points, which I believe also represent where I stand regarding this issue. How is the stability of a club that ages centuries affected by individuals such as managers or players that last at the very most two decades in that club? Barca have enjoyed success despite having 4 managers in the last 10 years. Only 4 players are still playing in Barca. Despite the major changes in players, managers, and even the president, they have experienced great success by sticking to their identity of attractive and positive Football. Arsenal were invincibles but then a group of young players that were trying to imitate Barcelona. Now they are a team that are satisfied with fourth place. But remember, they have had one manager this entire time. We on the other hand with Mourinho went from acceptable football to beautiful football, then ugly football and now 14th place. This goes to show that stability in football is reached when you establish a Football identity and the managers and players you sign are reflective of that identity. We as a club are a joke in this department. Going from unbeatable side in Mourinho's first tenure to Ancelotti's sexy Football, to AVB's team that emphasized on developing youth, to signing attacking players and at the end of the story giving Mourinho the control of these players. It's just not right; we can't be jumping from side to side anymore. Choose what identity you want established in the club and stick with it. The next step would be signing managers and players that fit what we're trying to not achieve not ones that are totally contrasting to what we're trying to build. A feeling tells me the board haven't learned their lesson yet. It's not a good sign when I see Simeone OR Ancelotti as the next managerial option. These two are totally different in coaching styles, and the possibility of the board looking at both as replacements for Mourinho goes to show you they do not have a clue what they are doing.
  20. The more and more I think of it I come to the conclusion that Mourinho sold Chelsea's future, players-wise and footballing-wise, to a league title. Before his arrival, we were signing attacking players and had a plan to develop youth. All of a sudden the board decides to give Jose Mourinho the control of a squad that is fully contrasting to the style of Football he likes to play. What where they thinking? Now we have to rise again. We have good attacking players but the longer Mourinho stays, the greater chance that they will run for their career towards a team that plays good Football. Out of all managers we could have backed, we have chose the most wrong one. Our board is very amazingly incompetent.
  21. Sell him asap or terminate his contract. Can't be arsed to watch this gutless liability anymore.
  22. There is also Ancelotti. A true gentleman who will present a good image of the club in the press and also take the best out of our attacking players.
  23. I voted Ivanovic as comedian of the match. That shot at the end made me laugh my ass off and also throw the remote in anger at the same time.
  24. But guess what, we're still mathematically in contention for the title!!!
