Boss Barkley! Deserved that goal. Put in a really good shift.
-
Barkley has bossed the game!
-
Rudiger is such an idiot. Why did he kick that out for a corner. We are so bad on set pieces. It is as if Rudiger sympathized with West Ham and said have another shot at a corner.
-
He faded second half because he only played the first half.
-
Genuinely, yes. His all round attacking play has really improved. He is such an engine as well. I was always critical of his offensive play but it has improved massively. If Sancho goes there his attacking play will improve even more. Greenwood too helps him because his ability to cut inside allows room for AWB to bomb down the right hand side.
-
At the start of the season, yes however in 2020, he has improved his offensive play massively. He is so physically strong and has improved his crossing and link up play going forward. Bar tonight, as far as I remember all his other assists were genuine brilliant crossing from him.

I love the new home kit. Surprised with the backlash. Really impressed and certainly will be buying the new shirt.
-
That finish with his left foot in the second half was a fantastic strike. Just a shame he was offside.
-
Every ball over the top they did second half, Vardy was unable to outpace the two because both Rudiger and Zouma are extremely fast. They really improved second half.
-
Zouma and Rudiger were fantastic second half. Generally Rudiger was top notch all game. He got my MOTM. Pulisic again was electric and Kovacic and Barkley coming on changed the game. Although our CB look suspect, one thing I give to them that helps against teams with fats forwards is that we probably have the fastest group of centre backs in the league. Zouma and Rudiger was not able to be beat for pace. They were solid as hell second half. Did not give Vardy a sniff.

Agreed. I wished other people would follow suit and not set unrealistic expectations and likewise not criticize based on one-two subpar performances and look at the bigger picture.

There is no patience on here with any of our players. Flavour of the month the suddenly, villain of the month.
-
Not at you but it will take one game, maybe this one for people to realise Gilmour is not ready start every game. Really good player but people thinking we should part with Jorginho and stick with Gilmour are really naïve.

Willian is not going to accept a 1 year deal and understandably so. If he was happy with a 1 year deal, he would have signed by now. This is more than likely to be his last contract wherever he signs so he wants security.

It just makes me laugh the way some people on here change their opinion so fast. Last few months if not for a year, so much people have been bashing Christensen saying he does not have the mentality to play here and is not tough enough and needs to be shipped on etc. He turns in a top performance and now people realise he is talented. That is why I am never too harsh on our players. The quality is there. Christensen is still relatively young and a good defender. The lack of support for our players is mind-blowing sometimes.

…… him coming us helped us big time. He was the reason Fernadinho got sent off.
-
WOW. He was unreal tonight
-
That is the third season in a row at the bridge where Aguero has been injured against us. Blessing in disguise for us as he always scores against us when he is fit. Home, away or neutral venue.
-
He got MOTM too on his debut for Brighton. A game in which his team were huge underdogs and he came out with a top performance
-
Davies is an exceptional talent but saying that Davies is playing at a team where he is rarely exposed as they always dominate the ball against virtually any team they play. Chilwell is a very good LB who will improve. He got ripped by Sarr yesterday and Mahrez but generally speaking he is quite solid defensively. I don't agree that he is so bad defensively.
-
You see how Gnabry has taken his game to another level since leaving Arsenal. Boga has a higher ceiling than him imo.

Ok. You are really exaggerating. Watford in our 3-0 victory under Sarri last season. I think from Deeney and made an excellent reflex save to keep it at 0-0. Please check that Then we went on to win 3-0 and that would later confirm our qualification for the UCL this season. The save from Mitrovic at Craven Cottage last season when we were 2-1 up. World class save. Another match winning save. Did you forget the double save he made from Van Dijk and Salah in the Super Cup game this season? Absolute world class saves (s). When we beat Frankfurt on penalties last season, not only did he make the saves in the penalty shoot out, he also made couple crucial saves in 90 mins to stop them winning the game. We would then go on to win the Europa League. When Sturridge scored that equalizer last season, Kepa made several crucial saves earlier on in game, most notably from Mane to keep us in front. Leicester beat us at the Bridge earlier last season deservedly. He made a world class save from Ndidi too. Also made a top save from Nathan Redmond this season when we battered Southampton 4-1 at St Marys. The angle which he saved that made the save even more impressive. All top reflex saves. When Kepa got dropped for a few games, he came back with a bang against Liverpool in the cup game and made several important saves to ensure we got through to next round and kept a clean sheet. DDG is also responsible for many errors but you still consider him world class right? Yesterday's goal was another pathetic mistake from him. I am not denying Kepa has made some glaring errors but just think it is OTT with you believing he is worst signing ever etc and to even compare him to Baka and Drinkwater is just ridiculous.

He is only 23 too. Mark my words, a few years he will be regarded as one of the best LB around. Sarr would tear many FB apart let's face it. Look what he did to Liverpool. Chilwell is not bad defensively. Not excellent but his strengths are going forward.
-
WOW! What a way to silence people.
-
He got done by Sarr a couple of times by Watford's most dangerous player but going forward he has looked really good going forward.
