He was decent, not great. He looked more dangerous for me in the first half. Second half faded but did he come up with the goods? Yes, he did and was a brilliant finish. That is enough for me. Did I thought Abraham was that good apart from the goal? No, but if he gets himself in right position and scores, then I am fine with that.

You would think Willian is a rival player, the amount of flack he gets on here. It seems even when he does well or scores, some will find a way to mock him or not give him praise. He has been a long servant for us and the lack of appreciation is odd.

Zouma done well. Especially when you consider the amount of flack our own fans have been given him. Won majority of his aerial duels and also put in an excellent slide tackle.

If I am being honest, think people are being way too dramatic. He got a hamstring injury at the beginning of the season, which delayed his debut. He has only played 3 games so far. One coming of the bench against in league and his first start in the UCL against PSG and virtually played the whole match against Sevilla which was a really big win. Also, Real are joint top right now and 4 ahead of Barca who also look a shambles right now. If people were saying this after Hazard had played 5-10 games then yeah, but 3 games he has played in which you would imagine he is still building up his match sharpness... come on? Give him time.

We lost, but the way the boys stood up second half and mounted that comeback was really impressive. I am just really pissed off with Arsenal getting that winner, especially considering they were 2-1 down and had 10 men. Gutting. On the positive not, Tomori was absolutely brilliant. He did not put a foot wrong. Jorginho impressed me also. Controlled a lot of the game but Tomori was the standout. His reading of the game and pace is so impressive. Just a shame we could not capitalize after we got the first goal. We lost but certainly was not embarrassed and Liverpool know they were in a game.

Taking off Zouma for Giroud did not make sense imo. They were exploiting our defence and we were not creating much so the fact he put on Giroud and Abraham at same time when it was 0-0 was puzzling. Although Pedro came on as a sub, would have taken him off and brought on Pulisic. Was annoyed about that. But, once again I expect a lot of ups and downs this season so not really surprised. Just need to learn. We will have a lot of games like that this season. Just hope Mount has bruising and no fracture.

Willian definitely with a point to prove tonight. Looks electric. Think he has seen some of the comments in here. Some fair and some embarrassing comments also from our own fans.

Well AC was dropped/ rotated today and wouldn't describe him as a ball playing CB. He is good on the ball but in terms of passing range, none of our defenders have that. Zouma was actually the one playing like a ball playing CB today. But most of the passes were to another fullback or so. Not passing into dangerous areas.

Agreed. but in games like today, do I think we miss him yes. He, like Jorginho dictates the tempo of the game. Like I say, this season we have played 2 promoted teams and conceded 2 goals each in both of those games. Luiz was in the team for most of our clean sheets we kept last season. Do I see us doing that this season? No. I think the lack of a ball playing defender is really underestimated.

It was against a top class team tbh. I will remain with my point, that losing him weakens us.

What started off looking a positive day has ended in a really frustrating one. Second half form is really concerning. They scored literally from kick off. Azpi, was poor all game. They exploited him down that left hand side several times. I don't want to pinpoint certain individuals but I think this where Lamps has shown his naivety. Gilmour is a very talented individual but seriously throwing a diminutive player in the game when we are holding on to a lead against quite a physical side did not make sense. I get it is good to see youth come through but seems Lamps is trying too hard. I am not just saying this in hindsight too. As soon as Gilmour came on, I was baffled. Bring on Christensen and add defensive stability. I know it is early stages but these are games that our rivals would win comfortably imo at home. We will face better teams than Sheffield United also. Positive news was that Abraham got another brace but generally, especially first half, his all round play was brilliant.

Hazard was brilliant in final, but surprised the award went to him. He barely played in the group stages and his one major performance came in the final where he was top class. Should have gone to Giroud imo or even lesser extent Pedro.

Not the easiest group but not the worse too and on the balance rather pleased. Two of the teams in our group have lost key players. Ajax are still very strong and can easily beat us but they have lost 2 big players this summer. Will be a very good game to watch. Valencia is an annoying one as their was easier teams to play in that group but again very winnable. Lille have lost Pepe who is a big loss. Really, we should be going through this. Thanks god we did not have to play Dortmund and Inter who are in same group as Barca. Looking forward to it. Avoided the major teams.

Not taking anything away from Crawley, but Norwich made 11 changes to their first team. You would imagine if they played their best team, they would have won. But yeah we are a work-in-progress, I think everyone is aware of that. I am not underestimating this game at all but we need to win this. Especially with Wolves away after the break.

How refreshing is to see 2 of our academy products settle the game also. Mount and Abraham. Mount is special. Another good game and was really impressed with Kovacic once again. Azpi I was really impressed today from an offensive POV. He was excellent. Definitely seems to have added on a yard of pace which was refreshing to see. Win next week hopefully and 7 points from 4 games, I will be content.
