Me, you, Kieran and DF were his main supporters from time. We always had to convince people that he is a quality player but people only seeing it till now. The guy is quality and some use to just ridiculously write him off. Glad to see our stance on him never changed and people starting to see we were right.

Gilvorak should be the first to come here and admit he made a mistake with all the criticism he used to give to Willian. Got egg on his face now.
-
One of the worse peice of managements I have ever seen. He decided to make the subs after they equalise. Total prat. Everyone could see that was coming, but Mourinho who still continues with this 1-0 policy bullshit.
-
Fuck you Mourinho seriously. Thats why we should have made a fucking sub. Gets way too comfortable. Should have brought on Hazard/Pedro much earlier.
-
Hazard on for Oscar please.
-
Can't wait for Hazard to come on.
-
Me too. Can't believe he has not managed more starts. People wrote him off after 1 game saying "Jose was right etc", without realising players need consecutive games to show their true quality. Yarmolenko has not had a sniff tonight.

I was talking about Hazard's first season here. And the way you make it sound is that I think Sterling is better than Hazard. I don't even think it is close. My point is Sterling playing bad last season in the UCL was a reflection of Liverpool as a team. He has a lot of quality but needs to be around world class players to show the best of his ability. That Liverpool team was so shit. The fact that 4 players of that starting 11 are now at mid table teams and a declining team in France shows how difficult it is for him to stamp his authority in games like that. The Liverpool who were so close to winning the title couple seasons ago would have battered Ludogrets and Sterling would have played better if the likes of Suarez and Sturridge was there. I am not making excuses but just saying it how I see it. Hazard is a much better player and I would just like to see him take his game up on another level by getting us in the UCL final or so. For instance the season before against Atletico when we went out, witht he quality he has I just feel he could have stood out more. Because I think he has the individual quality to do that, even if he is surrounded by more average players. Then this season for instance, as bad as we have been I feel Hazard more than anyone has the ability to get us out of a difficult situation. So when I see performances like he has in the UCL so far this season it is frustrating. Sterling was great tonight but my point remains the same, as much as I love him as a player I still feel he is yet to stamp his authority on the UCL as a whole.

I was seeing the stats of him this season compared to last season. While his standards have dropped this season, he actually only scored 3 goals at this point last season, with only 1 coming from open play. The goals started to come in a flurry after and hopefully something similar happens this season. It was just a little while into November where Hazard set world class standards. I have the utmost faith he will do it again. He is a world class player. The fact that he has been criticized so much with a lot of it justified tbf, however still is on par with Ozil with the most created chances shows he is someways a victim of his own standards he set last season. He will come good and while others will want to see him benched I think it is best to keep him in the team. Sooner or later I think his form early part of the season will be a distant memory.

Yeah mate. I agree, he was excellent against PSG. Especially with the ultra-defensive tactics but my mere point is Hazard was playing with quality players last season. Sterling was playing in an awful team. It is not excuses but fact. As he in not on a world class level I would not expect him to be the star player in an average team. He is not ready for that role yet imo. He thrives in playing with better players as proven by with his current City spell and when he was playing with Suarez and Sturridge.
-
What excuses? Hazard has not lit up the CL. Simple as that. He has had good performances but could still do a lot better for someone who is considered world class. And are you serious? Remind me of Hazard's first season in the UCL. No goals and yet we like Liverpool, finished 3rd and went to the Europa League. Do you know what you are talking about? Please stop this. Like I said, Sterling is not on Hazard's level and that is why I expect more from Hazard.
-
Shit but so were Liverpool. That was Sterling's first season in the UCL with a average Liverpool team missing key players. Just look at the deadweight in Liverpool's team. Johnson, Manquilo, Toure, Lambert (LOL).
-
Give Remy a run in the team, he will score goals. Bony sometimes has a lot of poor decision making, for instance Saturday, could of had a hattrick but poor decision making. But he gets his chance when Aguero is injured and has scored, Remy would be the same. He is a quality finisher as well.
-
I am talking about in the bigger games. Not agaianst average teams. Maribor are shit. Hazard was not outstanding against Gala. Sterling was also in an awful team compared to the likes Hazard was playing with. Sturridge was injured throughout the whole tournament. And I know Hazard is a much better player than Sterling. That is why I expect to see more of him in the UCL. Hazard is world class. Sterling is a player with world class potential. Fair enough in the latter stages, he ahs not been helped by Mourinho's boring tactics but I still don't think he has set the scene alight in the UCL. He only scored 1 goal in open play in the comp last season.
-
Bony will score though if he gets a run. Looked very good tonight. He sometimes looks out of place because the way City play, like Arsenal you think with all their playmakers etc they need a striker who makes runs. Remy would benefit from that. I would like Auba here but I highly doubt it. Think he is very happy there and he would only go to a team where he plays as no.1 striker.
-
Auba won't come unless he is a guaranteed starter imo. I am fine with Remy as a back up striker. If Remy was in City's team for instance I reckon he would be scoring goals galore.
-
And so does Hazard. But like I was saying Sterling has been excellent tonight. They are top right now anyway and he has contributed.
-
Because you said he needs to do it more. There are loads of "big occasions" where Sterling abeen excellent. I just pointed out that he was excellent tonight contrary to his other UCL performances where he has been rather average. Too see a young English player perform that good is always good to see.
-
I have seen no evidence of this chemistry with Costa in a Chelsea shirt. But when Remy comes on I am much more confident of him getting a goal.
-
Has Hazard always done it on the big occasion? Sterling is 20. Give him a rest.
-
I don't wish injuries on players but at least him being injured, means there is no chance of him coming on when chasing a game. Too repetitive, does not influence the game and when he comes on at the expense of Remy it does my head in.
-
Well tonight he has shown that he can do it on big occassions and perform in the UCL. This is an important game and he has been excellent. Not good. Excellent.
-
Not tonight. Been their best player by far.
-
I was rather enjoying the two go at it again till you ruined it

I don't want to weaken their thoughts. That is my opinion. Criticising a manager and suggesting that one should go is different. That is their job to say where things go wrong etc. Also Neville never played under LVG, neither did Scholes so there is no affinity towards him from them. Lampard won major trophies under Mourinho and was a big hit with him so of course he is not going to suggest he could go. Yes Lampard left to City but he had a great time with Mourinho and him saying anything down the lines of Mourinho is not the man to lead us would feel like a betrayal on his side. He just would not say it. You mentioned two players who are United greats yet never played under LVG. Lampard played under Mourinho and had some of the best times with him. Completely different scenarios mate.
