  1. Hazard is loved by everyone here. Even now there are people full of support on him during quite a difficult spell for him. Last season, majority of the forum I can say were in awe of Hazard and we made clear who we thought should be the POTY. Hazard and Courtois are very much appreciated over here. But right now he is not at the top of the game and KDB had made an instant impact so it is no surprise people are giving KDB credit.
  2. You are twisting what he said. He said this: "Martial is a human being, he reacts and it is a stupid reaction, but sometimes these things happen. "He said it is the first time it happens to him, if it always happens with me it's a pity.'' Nothing is wrong or OTT with what he said and I don't think it was wrong of him to say that publicly. Now if he called Martial stupid that is another story but he never.
  3. You should be his biggest fan now.
  4. He is a quality young player but he is a DLP. He is best when he is dictating the game. He has played at AM before but he has been playing at DM/DLP for Vitesse and from what I am hearing is improving game by game and cosntnantly having an influence on games.
  5. Well he kept a clean sheet against Mandzukic who is a CL winner and a massive handful on his day and Morata who is a quality young stiker. Excellent achievement, especially more that it was at Juve's ground. I just typed his name on twitter and the amount of comments that stated he was MOTM and bossed the Juve attack. Less talked about but he can easily be the John Stones we were looking for if he keeps up with his progress.
  6. Don't chat shit. Go in the Willian, Matic, Hazard thread and see our match threads and see how much support I give to the team. Unlike you, I don't lick our manager's ass 24/7 and I criticise when I see necessary. I always give credit to our players/team and manager when they deserve it.
  7. I still can't help my self to stop my anger at Mourinho for letting KDB go. What sort of ludicrous decision that has turned to be. I remember all the Belgians on here such as Stingray and others who were saying when he came back to us from his loan spell at Werder Bremen that he was going to be a star for us. And he let him go ffs. So fucking deluded, especially when you consider the fact that the man he put faith in as his no.10 at the time, he seems to have lost trust in him now
  8. You were saying.... Just accept he is a quality player. Tired of hearing the rubbish people spout out about him. He is a world class player. Just look what he has accomplished.
  9. Don't assume because a striker has not scored that he was invisible. They could not handle his movement yesterday. He was aconstant threat. Cech, rash finishing and good recovery from Koscielny stopped him from scoring.
  10. Come on.... They have not even started a league game together and have only started 1 UCL game together IIRC and played another one together where KDB came on with under 20 mins remaining. We need to see them play more till we make that judgement tbh. Some ways I agree with you. For instance I miss Mata but I think under Mourinho, his ability to press and perform in attack every game would be a question mark because naturally he is a slow player. However with KDB, when I see him, I know you will disagree but I always see him press hard, track back and do wonders going forward. He is for me the complete player. He is not a great presser or he is a great workhorse like Willian but he has got it in him because he has a fair amount of pace and stamina. He played almost every min for Wolfsburg and would never die out. Cesc not performing is not to do with him dying out. He is just being innefective and struggles to dictate the game and looks more sloppy on the ball. I thought he was acc decent tonight but when I see Fabregas play in that role, I think KDB should be there because he can do what they are doing on the defensive but contribute much more going forward. I struggle to beleive that the defensive work rate required would have stalled him. Hazard is not naturally a defensive working player but he overcame the criticism before and adapted because he is a world class player and KDB is on that level too. Mourinho was just too rash. Regarding Ramires, he is not the player he used to be but he still has shown in some matches this season what he brings unique to the team. He is not a lightweight despite his size and holds his own imo. When he is running forward it is quite difficult to bully him off the ball.
  11. Toure is also a quality passer and dictates the tempo of the game. RLC still needs to improve on this side of the game.
  12. Good point once again as stated but we could have easily beat them if we put in more attacking effort. I am sure of it. Just look what happened with them on Friday evening. Remember when we actually went all out offensive with Mourinho away from home in the CL last season and battered Schalke 5-0
  13. KDB may of not been able to work hard every game and put in the same performance level but he would have been good enough to make an impact here. Even if it meant swapping KDB to the left sometimes, it would have worked. That is where he has played for City in their last 2, constantly cutting inside and trying to execute through balls. The problem with Oscar is he is pressing but it is not effective at all as he is just too weak. He done his bit against Arsenal, well played to him but it seems back to square one and most importantly he is not offering anything in attack. Like I was saying, I am not saying KDB would have been a star for us every game but he would of made much more a contribution in attack, which we have often been lacking this season. Rambo don't get bigger but he stands his own ground and has good balance. Oscar used to show this but looks more and more fragile.
  14. RLC is definitely not starting the next game and imo probably will not even come on as a sub. It will be more or less a similar team to today imo. But trust me, don't put hopes into RLC starting. It is not going to happen. Especially in a game like this. Mikel has more chance of playing tbh.
  15. Probably does. I think he might not admit it but he probably regrets selling KDB out of all of them. He could have coached him to press like Oscar but take that aside KDB is an upgrade over Oscar in almost every angle and I think he would have done wonders for us. Look at the impact he has made at City already and he is on the level with the likes of Hazard, Silva, Sanchez and Aguero, he really is. Oscar just looks way too fragile when playing for us. There were some people who actually thought he was the missing link when we were doing poor and he was not in the team. Oscar is a player before like I was saying that may look good when we are playing well but rarely will be the standout difference when the team is average. We really need better contributions from him because too often he looks like a fragile passenger. Mourinho is obviously not impressed by Oscar, hence why he has been on the bench in recent matches. But right now I am fine with him as a squad player. I just don't think he has done enough to be starting as our no.10 and I think he will continue on the bench till he actually steps up much more.
  16. Good point, good defensive performance but so poor offensive wise it is scary. Mourinho got what he came for I guess but when you consider that Shakhtar, a team who lost both Luiz Adriano and Douglas Costa in the summer, beat this team 3-0 at their own backyard, it makes me think why we could not have taken the game to them a bit more. We will beat them comfortably at the Bridge though I am sure of that. To player performances. Zouma had a mixed night. Looked shaky sometimes but also done well at certain moments. Rest of defence were sound. Matic was a total beast and our MOTM. Ramires was good alongside him. Fabregas was also decent in the no.10 role. Hazard was ok but still waiting to see the best out of him. Willian was excellent. Quality pressing, and done his duties all night. Costa did not have much service but was disappointed with his overall contribution. He got dominated in every aerial battle and just struggled to get in the game but yet again we did not creat much for him. Good point like I said. We will beat them at home. Bring on West Ham now. This is a big one :blue scalf:
  17. Complete boss tonight. When you have someone who can give you more protection, you see the best of him. Total beast and back to his best tonight. Was a brick wall!
  18. Zouma looks totally out of place at RB tonight. We could desperately do with upgrading that position in January.
  19. Baba may of been shaky against Villa but when you never play, this can happen. He is never going to build momentum if he can't string together 2 games. Such a way to destroy a player's confidence seriously. The more he plays, he would have improved. If we were frustrated with the amount of games Luis got, this is going to be nothing in comparison to what Baba gets, especially when Ivanovic is back.
  20. Muller for me is certainly a jack of all trades. He does not necessarily have an outstanding attribute but he has all of them which makes him a superb player.
  21. This. Varane is not going to leave Real. He is at a better team than us and when these rumours were happening this was last season when he could not get in Ancelotti's team. He has played nearly every game for Real this season and will keep his place even when both Ramos and Pepe are fit. He has no reason to leave and a club of Real's wealth would be ludicrous to let a player of his quality and the best defender of his generation go.
  22. Solanke is not going to be starting for us next season. Regardless of how he performs at Vitesse. He will be 18 at the start of next season and there is no way we are going to throw him in our team. Just look at Traore who is rotting away this season. He was excellent at Vitesse last season and barely makes the match squad.
  23. Solanke is not going to be leading our line, LOL. Kenedy has good potential but let's not overrate him. He is not going to be in our team on a consistent basis and highly unlikely we will play with a 4-4-2.
  24. The same I say about Sanchez when people used to complain us signing Willian for £30m when we could of signed Sanchez for around the same price. I think Sanchez would much rather play under Wenger than Mourinho.
