I hope either we or Bradford win the cup this year. A non-PL team winning a cup will probably bring some more prestige back to the cups, as odd as that may sound.

I think Real Madrid have a gentleman's agreement with Atletico Madrid meaning they can't take their star player(s); which is exactly why Aguero ended up at Manchester City when he clearly wanted to be at Real Madrid (and they wanted him baaaadly).

He wants to be a starter. He's no longer good enough nor fit enough to be a starter. When he doesn't start, he's unhappy and honestly looks incredibly immature with his faces on the bench and little comments to the media occasionally. Yes, his experience is good, but only if he accepts a smaller wage and a squad role - like Giggs at Manchester United. Also, the "he came back from injury and we won 2 games. this shows how important he is to us" comments are making me cringe. Barcelona kept a clean sheet in their last game when Lampard was again available for us despite conceding in their game before that!!! This clearly means that Lampard's return angered the Barcelona players because he helped us beat them in the semi-final last year so made them step up their game!!!!!!!!!!!! No.

He was incredibly hyped up when he was younger for a reason. He's an amazing talent. Wenger just uses him absolutely terribly. He'll go and score 4 goals in 1 game while bagging an assist and then be benched the next game in favour of Gervinho. So odd. He's the same height as Javier Hernandez, has more pace, is a better dribbler, is more versatile, would hardly cost anything, has over 160 Premier League appearances and could become a very decent finisher. Not many people would turn down Hernandez, would they? So I don't see why Walcott should be turned down without good reasons.

I believe Luiz and Hazard's performances both earned MOTM - however, due to the fact that playing in midfield isn't a usual thing for Luiz yet he played there like he's been there all year, I gave it to him.

So we still need a clinical striker. We really, really, really should have had 6+ goals in my opinion today. It was like a pre-season game.

No clean sheet = not good enough. Sounds harsh, but it just isn't.
