  1. We definitely need a new English player now. Any position.
  2. Look at the amount of posts in the Sturridge thread and this one. Cool.
  3. Not too sure I believe this 'to Liverpool deal' as much as I did as The Times are now reporting that Arsenal are in talks to sign Huntelaar and something about £100k a week wages. It just seems odd that they would 'break' these stories both tonight/tomorrow without other major media outlets picking up on them first. It's not like The Times have a big stack of secret football agents with inside news.
  4. So you want our board who could potentially be bringing Falcao in to 'fuck off' while one of our players has (apparently) given the "OK" to joining one of our biggest and most hated rivals. Makes sense.
  5. If he does join Liverpool, regardless whether it's to 'better his career' or whatever, I will have absolutely no place in my heart or memory for him. If you join Liverpool in this era, all Chelsea ties are cut as far as I'm concerned.
  6. So people are willing to believe we've sold Sturridge but not believe we've signed Falcao (when we'd only have 1 striker left at this club), what.
  7. Because our team creates storylines and entertainment. Teams like Barcelona, Man Utd - they never do anything dramatic. They just win with high scorelines. We produce games which has neutrals biting their fingernails; such as vs. Napoli last season.
  8. Falcao deserves to play in the Champions League. We deserve to play in the Champions League. Makes sense.
  9. He's amazing. Simple. And you know what our team lacks? Competition for places. Why do you think our players are so casual and play with little drive and heart? Because they all know (well, Mata and co, Terry and co, Torres etc.) that they're automatic choices no matter how badly they perform. They don't need to put effort in if they can't be bothered. Pjanic would keep Mata, Hazard, Oscar on their toes. As for this being bad for De Bruyne, judging from his recent interviews, I doubt he'll make it here. He seems to think he's a little better than he is. He wants to be a starter. He's said if he's not a starter, he'll just move elsewhere. How on earth will he start over Hazard/Mata/Oscar though? Play in the double pivot? If so, then this Pjanic move doesn't effect him.
  10. Still yet to see Cazorla do anything of note against a top team.
  11. I'll just be honest - I'd rather sell him to Madrid/Barcelona for anything above £15mill and then buy Jack Butland from Birmingham City. I can't put my finger on 'why', but I've just always wanted us to have an English 'keeper in the Abramovich era. Also, once Terry, Lamps, Cole etc. are gone, we need good English talent in our team. Sturridge is sure to be gone too, and Cahill isn't good enough to be a starter for us, is he? So why not invest in the greatest young English talent around and just let Courtois go for a big fee? I can't remember the last time I saw an English talent as good as Butland. If I was to rack my brain, I'd probably have to say Ashley Cole...maybe. Butland is going to be absolutely incredible in his prime.
  12. When done correctly, 4-3-2-1 is probably my favourite formation. Although ours would be different, A.C. Milan's Christmas tree version when Kaka was in his prime was absolutely lethal. This is THE formation for us if we want to retain possession more. However, with that said - I'm always scared about using narrower tactics. I guess a plus about this formation though is that when the opposition has a great, direct winger, you can easily switch into a 4-3-3! I'd love for us to give this formation a go. It would utilize our squad properly and bring a bit more balance to the starting XI.
  13. I'd cry if we got Gomis - and not tears of joy.
  14. I honestly, really don't think he's the BEST option for us (Cavani..*cough*), BUT I do really want him here as he's the only big name striker we have a proper link with it seems (unless you count Higuain). Ughhhh I could wank over so many of his goals!!!
  15. I guess I'm extra pissed off due to the money I bet on us winning. No matter though! I've got a good chunk of cash on Real Madrid (vs. Espanyol), Barcelona (vs. Atletico Madrid) and Borussia Dortmund (vs. Hoffenheim) winning which should win me my money back. I'm starting to worry though that the Barcelona game could end up as a draw.
  16. Ah. Do you think Torres is a good player?
  17. The reason why other clubs can play shit and win is because they have clinical strikers. They can have 5% pass accuracy, defend for their lives, then just boot a ball up and over the opposition defence, and their striker will put the ball away in the 90th minute and win the game. There's more problems than just our striker; but our striker problem needs to be sorted first. I say we buy Heskey or at least look at that option. He's quite clinical so far this season. We could also bring in Beckham and give him a deep-lying playmaker role.
  18. From now on, we must all refer to Torres as a "she", ok? Good. She honestly played like the biggest pussy I've ever seen today, and that shot she missed right infront of the goal... worse than the Manchester United miss by far in my opinion. Her lack of movement totally pissed me off today as well. However, with that said - I can only put 95% of the blame on Torres. I have to unfortunately put 5% of the blame on Hazard. His butt cheeks were probably mesmerizing Fernando and made Mrs. Torres hot, horny and wet, thus creating concentration lapses in the mind of our blonde whore. The drippings from her vagina is also the reason why she slips so much I assume. With that wetness at her feet, it must be hard running on an already partially slippery surface, dampened by the tears which fall from her eyes every time someone touches her, forcing that ever-present tampon slightly further up her vagina.
