Apparently Gouffran is wanted by both Newcastle United (if they fail to sign Remy) and Everton. I personally believe neither Remy nor Gouffran would fit into Newcastle United's team. Gouffran would be decent at Everton though.

He's definitely improving again. I think we all forget he's actually still quite young. Another season perhaps in Holland and then we'll see what happens. Definitely still has that special something in him.

Surely he wasn't 'just watching the game' like some claim. 1: We need to bring in more English/homegrown players I believe as a safety net. 2: We still do lack some depth in defense. 3: He isn't really used by Man City. 4: He's a motherfucking tank. I love this guy.

Pretty much Liverpool's whole homepage is currently dedicated to him.. He was only announced, what, 20-30mins ago? And already they have 4 news sections dedicated to him.

My perfect scenario would be having Ba as our starting striker in the PL and 'unleashing' (lol) Torres in the Europa League.

I know he plays a bit more like an attacking midfielder than a winger, but I rate Taison around the same level as Marin - but with less potential. Really don't want him here at all.

We do have to remember though that Demba Ba has been used as either a loan striker in a 4-3-3 or as a partner in a 4-4-2. No idea how he'll perform in our sort of formation.
