So you're happy if he plays crap for 89 minutes, causing our team to work far too hard as it's basically like playing with 9 outfield players, we win, and he gets a consolation tap-in goal at the end of the 90 minutes to cap off a (somehow) thrashing done by our other players?

Part of the reason I want Falcao is for his celebrations. Torres's little 'celebration' when he scores is a little look down to the ground, sticking his index fingers out, shaking them, and what looks like muttering something to himself. Not exactly going to pump the crowd up that, is it? Falcao on the other-hand looks like he's about to go all "SPARTAAAAAA!!!!" etc. Falcao could pump up a crowd of 90 year old women if he wanted.

I farking loved our away support! Reminded me of pre-Abramovich times when our away support was simply the best in the country (well, I'm perhaps being a tad bias). The smoke bombs, although one was set off rather crap, were a great touch too! No idea how they got them into the stadium (can someone explain?) but I want to see more of that in the future. This win is sooo close to feeling as good as the 5-1 win over Tottenham last season for me personally! I despise Leeds fans more than Tottenham fans, but despise Tottenham as a club more than Leeds.

I didn't realise Zenit are in this competition! They shouldn't be allowed to take part in European football IMO.

I actually want us to take the Europa League seriously. It's still a big trophy in my opinion, again when you consider we've only even been in European Competitions for around a decade as a club!

This guy's great. Doesn't he have over 600 hundred Ligue 1 appearances? Man Utd manage to rotate their goalkeepers (sort of). If we brought him in, maybe Cech could get a few more deserved rests!

I want to win this trophy so much. We simply can't accept less than 1 trophy and a top 4 finish this season.

Cech, Ivanovic and Bertrand (sort of) are our only defence-minded players in our starting XI. Wow.

The funny thing is, Marin is and has been rather shit for a few years now and will probably show everyone tonight lol. He's been not picked for a reason y'know. He's perhaps the most predictable player in the league. Take it out wide, cut it back, shoot.

So I guess our back-line will be - Cech; Azpi, Ivan, Luiz, Cole (I personally believe Bertrand should get a start tonight, even if it is a rough game.) I assume our attack will consist of Torres, Hazard, Oscar and Moses (I just get the feeling Mata will be rested), but no idea what's gonna happen in the DP.

Oh shit, I didn't realise this game was tonight!!! Thought it was tomorrow. Gonna go buy a steak pie. Whenever we're away from home against a team we hate, I eat a pie of some kind. I guess it's a little 'tradition'.

Also, regarding the Moutinho rumours - he won't be leaving in January. It's really that simple. Porto are refusing it. He'll likely join either Tottenham or some other nearly 'top' side in the Summer.

If we sign a striker, I'm confident it'll be Bony or someone allot 'smaller' than Falcao. Regardless whether we can activate his transfer release clause or not, I highly doubt he's the sort of player to just leave his team half way through the season, especially when they're in the position they're in.

Oh yeah I'll add - I really, really, really doubt we'll get him in January. I just can't see it. We'll probably end up with someone like Bony instead and then i'll cry a little. I'm not even confident of signing him at any point during his career. Anyway I'm going to go get some black pudding. I'm hungry.

I would just like to say a big "fuck off" to the people who want us buying just U21 players and expect to win trophies with them. People want us buying such short, 'flashy' players with no bulk, players who are past it (Villa) and players who haven't even finished puberty yet. Which team who plays in red do we all know that follows that philosophy? How does that work out for them? We are fucking Chelsea, not Fulham. We are amongst the richest clubs in the world. When you have billions of cash, you don't settle for a Vauxhall Astra. You buy a Ferrari (or 5).
