  1. Kalou scored twice last night vs. a full strength side. Falcao just scored against a mix of Madrid's 1st/2nd/3rd team from an offside position. Needs to do more to convince me.
  2. Read this. 2 months old and it's about a possible transfer to City/Liverpool but it's worth a read: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/alexis-sanchez-transfer-manchester-city-1736673
  3. If we don't win I'll be furious and probably punch the first child I see.
  4. IF he gets loaned out again (just forget whether we think he's ready or not for our squad) and IF Watford do get promoted, do we want him staying at Watford for another season so he can make that position his own in the Premier League? Or do we want him in a new team with a different style who'll likely give him a different role, thus expanding the possibilities for when he eventually ends up here?
  5. Tbh even if this ends a draw it's still a fine result for us. Doubt many of us would have predicted much else than a Tottenham win before the game.
  6. I've always secretly wished Dawson was our player. He's more our level, Cahill is more Totty's level.
  7. If Wigan win I think it'll be yet more Europa League action for Spuds next season assuming we win vs. the Sheep Shaggers
  8. FINALLY! What a delightful goal. Despite his missed opportunities earlier he's really composed. 1 more goal and he'll be 5th-joint highest scorer in the league with Ba and Benteke.
  9. He's good enough to be a back-up option here for sure. In his short time at Blackburn he's already been hailed as one of the league's best right-backs which is not easy at all considering how defensively-sound lots of Championship teams tend to be. He's also quite decent at playing in midfield and even on the wing. (Much better than Bertrand anyway!) I doubt we'll ever see him play for our senior team regularly unfortunately but I'd love it if we do. He's Chelsea through-and-through and one of our more genuine talents.
  10. Just checked out some stats and Watford have the best goal difference in the league I had no idea. I understand Cardiff City have run away with the Championship but I'm adamant that Zola deserves Manager Of The Year down there.
  11. If he's fine about leaving us permanently already despite not proving himself in Europe yet and only actually properly being with the club for 1-year (and we did the very best thing for him by sending him out on loan) then I say good riddance. I know the majority on here love De Bruyne and think he's the best thing since sliced bread, and yes, I'll concede that he's very talented, but any player who doesn't care whether they play for Chelsea or not or is willing to leave so soon should have the door held wide open for them in my opinion. I know that's not an opinion which will be shared by many, but that's just my view regarding this situation if the rumours are indeed true. He'd have a better chance at Dortmund, I have no doubt about that, but I do not care if they have louder fans and cheaper resources - We have smarter (from what I gather) fans from all over the world from every different nation and the best resources football can buy. We are a bigger club than Dortmund, and the fact that they've just let go of Gotze (yes I know he had a clause) and seemingly Lewandowski too shows that they're a German Arsenal punching above their weight.
  12. AHISAYDHIHAD I HAVE A BONER AND IT WONT GO AWAY ANY TIME SOON!!!!!
  13. You know... he currently averages 1 goal every 3 games at Barcelona... and that's him during the roughest patch of his career..Sure, scoring against Deportivo is a bit different to scoring against Everton, but still, that's a very decent goal output. He can also operate very well as a second-striker and even do decent as the main striker himself. Counter-attack with this guy and you will score loads of goals. The idea of him and Hazard changing positions with Mata providing them through-balls ahhhh
  14. I don't think he's a diver personally. I just think it's part of the way Barcelona play. They've turned Alba into a player who dives too, but if you look at clips of him during his Udinese times, you'll see he's like Hazard - tries to stay on his feet and he gets fouled loads. I'm sure if you take him out of Barcelona the diving will pretty much be gone from his system. I feel this particular video further proves my point. This vid is his dribbling skills and not much else. At loads of points you'd expect a player to go down, but he stays up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84yF4Nuew3A
  15. I guess people forget how he tore us a new arsehole multiple times in just the first 10 or so mins. vs Barcelona at S.Bridge last season. Sure, he was wasteful with his chances, but he's never been a finisher. He's a creator. He should have had around 3 assists that game! The amount of times his pace and dribbling destroyed every defender in front of him for large parts of the game was just nerve rattling. If he could do that for us against teams I could not say no to him. Also, at Udinese, he was simply unplayable at times and the comparisons to C. Ronaldo were partly true. He'd improve just about any side in the world. He actually reminds me of, wait for it... Suarez. Which is a compliment in terms of football ability.
  16. Mourinho here. Ancelotti to Madrid. Pellegrini to PSG. I could see that happening.
  17. I AM SO PUMPED UP FOR THE MADRID DERBY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really hope Atletico win. I always love the 'smaller' teams winning in derbies. It'd also put them joint-2nd place with Real again.
  18. I was just so confident we were going to win this one and I'm glad we did. I'm rarely optimistic but it had me feeling good this time. I think their previous games have, for whatever reasons, been blown out of proportion a bit. Tottenham are Tottenham. I do not care if they are on par with us when it comes to league football these days , they are absolutely nothing to us when it comes to Europe. Manchester United were simply awful in Europe in general when they faced Basel, and blah blah. (Also didn't they have Shaqiri back then?) Anyway, point is - They are not a great collective of top-notch individuals but are indeed a very good team. They work well especially when Dragovic is playing as his determination seems to rub off onto other players, but he's now suspended of course for the Stamford Bridge game, meaning we should have this in the bag as he plays a huge part in their team spirit on the field. I can't even see us conceding when they come to London personally and can see us winning by 3 or more goals. The fact that they choked in the biggest game of their history just last night makes me feel like the psychological difference between our team and theirs is so great that they'll crumble like a fine cheese while we play with the elegance of wine as we send them back to Switzerland and pack our bags for Amsterdam.
  19. FUTURE CAPTAIN, LEADER, LEGEND
  20. I'd definitely get Oscar on and push Hazard out wide. Dunno who to take off for him though.
