  1. He says it'll be good working with Hazard, Oscar and Luiz as examples.
  2. He says he'll be improving our team through work first and foremost, and then money if he sees it necessary after the improvements he can make to our current players.
  3. This could mean Sneijder on when Mata is rested and Oscar in a deep role.
  4. He says he's finished his lap around European football - saying he only ever craved the titles in England, Italy and Spain. Everything he's saying makes it sound like he's going to be very different this time and try to create a dynasty. But we think that often about managers.
  5. Still arrogant and cocky as ever, saying he knows everyone will be singing his name the moment he steps foot in Stamford Bridge during his first match
  6. He says it's time to build a project and stay a much longer time than he's usually done at clubs. He says it's time for stability and he hopes to be the one to achieve it and elevate the careers of our youngsters.
  7. Oi you filthy sluts. It's being rumoured his first signing will be Sneijder for £5m - any thoughts?
  8. It's being rumoured that Sneijder will be Mourinho's first signing here to decrease Mata's workload (I assume) for around £5m. (In Turkish) - http://www.ntvspor.net/haber/futbol/88910/sneijdere-chelsea-kancasi?po=1
  9. This is the first time he'll have a proper lengthy time working in our top facilities is it not? When he was here last time Cobham etc. were still being renovated.
  10. Their flank will be so exposed with Navas, honestly. He'll end up being told to cut in meaning Zabaleta will have to offer loads of support. That means either loads of space behind Navas to exploit and jink past Zabaleta or Zab will already be too far up the pitch and one ball over him to whoever our striker is will have us in an attacking position. Navas is soooo good for attacking, but you'll be a shambles when it comes to defending. Win-Lose for City.
  11. Right, so they've looked to have signed Jesus Navas (or about to anyway) for around £19m plus around £4m in variables. He's a proper out-and-out winger who's known to be injury prone. He's incredibly fast and an amazing dribbler. However; He's just had the worst season of his career and new coach Pellegrini has never played with out-and-out wingers before to my knowledge. That said, Silva and Navas together is a frightening prospect.
  12. Manchester United won't reign in England again.
  13. Does this Jeos Mosinho have a good track record?
  14. Jesus Navas to City all but done for £19m.
  15. His first full interview is tonight at 6:30, Chelsea TV. Will be officially unveiled 10th of June. He's been given the title "First Team Manager" if that means anything. Rui Faria, Silvino Louro and Jose Morais will all be First Team Assistants. Perfect
  16. I'd much rather sell Ivanovic. Anyway; If we were to let him go the only player I'd want replacing him is Varane which is next to impossible. It really makes 0 sense to sell him.
  17. De Bruyne will be sold I have absolutely no doubt. The club will see him as causing too much trouble already especially in regards to apparently rejecting a loan move to Bayer or at least being very difficult about it - something you wouldn't expect from a player who's yet to even play for the club.
  18. I believe his worth, genuinely, is £12m at most. I honestly do. And if it was Liverpool or some other club of that stature bidding for him I'm quite confident they'd get him. Notice no other clubs are ever linked to him? There's a reason for that. It's not the price-tag IMO.
  19. I really don't want him so that'd be great news. I was once on the fence, once completely all for it - not completely not. He offers nothing new to our team aside from 'stamina' and 'work rate' but we'd get those results putting Ramires on the wing for free.
  20. 1 foul, 1 shot, 1 tackle. It's sickening how much we'll be spending on him.
  21. What's this word 'history'? I'm not familiar
  22. mMMMmmm. don't think he'll work out with anyone unless he's in a hard working team or an incredibly possession-based one.
  23. My point is you could see motivation and hunger in Madrid players under Mourinho even if the overall project was a failure. Mourinho tried managing parts of the club whereas with Pellegrini I just see someone who manages the squad on match day and in training. Basically I see Mourinho as a manager and Pellegrini as a top coach, with all respect to him. As for that I didn't expect them to under-perform. Although Serie A wasn't at its strongest during his time there, Mancini won quite an incredible amount of trophies in a short time. He's really, really good. So good that AS Roma fans are considering his appointment despite him having Lazio roots and them being their biggest rivals. He's passionate, a good tactician etc. I think his problem at City was the players weren't as hungry or flexible as they could have been. They should have played more selflessly. Tevez disrupted the club, Toure is a cunt and it wouldn't surprise me if he causes problems behind the scenes and even players like Dzeko and Barry seem like moody people who bring the morale down. If he also got the players he wanted (apparently City refused certain transfers) I'm sure they'd have won the league this season and this discussion wouldn't exist. I doubt he wanted Rodwell and Sinclair ffs. He was more into the likes of Navas and Fernandinho, Witsel, so-on. The board fucked up, not Mancini.
