How just how lol. Robben does nothing but mistakes, just how.

If Lew is stamping on a Bayern player surely he's not joining them in the Summer? He can't be that stupid.

HOLY FUCK SUBOTIC

FUCK YESSSSSS

PLEASE SCORE. HE WONT SCORE. HE MUST SCORE. WILL HE SCORE? DONT MISS. SCORE!
-
You know I just realised - Toni Kroos must be well pissed off with Gotze arriving. Dortmund should try and sign him and leave De Bruyne alone!

Bastian has just been injured in the warm up

I want to stab Adrian Chiles with a pen in the eye

The only player I'd want from Bayern's entire squad I think is Muller (maybe Martinez). I really, really want him on our right hand side. 'Traditional wingers' are almost extinct and now most like to play with a winger who cuts inside like a striker almost, but I feel work-horse wingers like Muller are the absolute best and we should definitely invest in one. (I guess Schurrle fits that profile a bit, although he cuts in too much for my liking.)

Get the feeling Bayern may keep a clean sheet and score at least 3 goals
-
Fuck that 'argument' which starts off most posts saying we shouldn't get him by stating what age he is. Just look at Arsenal for following that exact mentality of "young kidz rule da worlsd!!!". That is all.

5-year deal. £21m. Could rise to £24m. Barcelona & Santos to play 2 friendlies as part of the deal. Done. £2m more than Oscar. I don't even know what to think about that lol.
-
Hopefully next season with Mourinho we win the league and Liverpool get top 4, only for us to dump them out of the CL with a 'ghost goal' the following season
-
I think Rodrigo would be good, but only really if used in a Javier Hernandez role. Start against little teams and come on as a sub vs. big teams to get a goal. Just get him to work on his finishing and composure. Forget every other sort of training in regards to crossing, tackling etc. Just make him the goalscorer he can be.

I want someone to actually highlight what he can't do as a player and explain why he's not good enough for our system please.
-
Allegri set to join Roma with Bielsa being lined up by Milan.
-
I don't see why he 'isn't' on the level of certain rival players in the league. You're not magically 'not as good' just because you've played your football in another country. Sure, he may not make the same immediate impact that buying someone from one of the top 4/5 leagues would have, but that doesn't mean he's not as good.

Rafa Benitez signed 2 years deal with Napoli
Leif replied to kobematabryant's topic in Football Chat
Napoli is full of counter-attacking players. Torres plays best in a counter-attacking team. Hamsik could be his Gerrard; Armero the hard-working Kuyt and so-on. Please sign Torres from us Benitez, please. They'll have loads of money from the Cavani sale and will need a striker. Do it. -
He'd be back up to Cech for fuck sake with Courtois going out on loan again It's not some stupid story like "Messi to replace John Terry". It would make sense. He joined Madrid TO BE BACK UP. Circumstances lead to him being #1. So we know he's fine with being back-up. If he stays at Madrid, he'll be made back-up again as the manager will displace him by putting Casillas back in the frame. So:- Why not follow a boss who seems to love him to Stamford Bridge, sign a 1 or 2 year contract and then play in cup games or be used if Cech is injured/suspended? Courtois is not coming back next season to play sub. Hilario is leaving at the end of the season. I doubt Blackman will be promoted. It would be Cech; Lopez; Turnbull. It makes fine sense.

Was RLC wearing Marin's number? Bye you little German.
-
The little bitches.
-
Apparently Mourinho will bring Lopez with him here. Reason probably being Lopez knows the next manager will put Casillas back as #1 (so he'll happily leave), we need a new back-up 'keeper and Mourinho seems to love the guy. Wouldn't it be lovely to rest Cech sometimes and let Lopez take over? He'd be the best back up keeper in the league surely. Want, want, want.

Regarding his release-clause - It's originally 90m (euro) but due to not playing a certain amount of games, a clause in his contract reduces the buy-out to 18m (euro).
-
I wouldn't mind:- Out: Marin (£5m?), Benayoun (Free), Ferreira (Free), Malouda (Free?), Essien (Sorry; £8m? Surely a Russian team would take a punt), Kakuta (£2-£8m?), Bruma (£5-7m?). That's already at least £20m just from fringe or no longer good enough players. That's also a huge amount of the wage bill reduced. Now with that £20m - In: Thiago (£15m). He will and would fit in here. We now have £5m leftover and are in a profit for the transfer window so far. That could go towards Coentrao in theory meaning we'd only actually pay around £10m for him out of our own pockets + the £5m leftover from above. (That's if the rumoured price is true, of course.) So that's us spending around £10m for Thiago and Coentrao in theory. Is that not an absolutely incredible deal? So with just £10m spent, we have our future left-back and possibly our future Mata successor or Oscar rotation player. He could even come right in and displace Mata but that's unlikely. He could also be groomed for a deep role. Now remember - We're Chelsea Football Club. No way would we stop at just £10m spent!!! We could now play around quite easily. Promote someone like Piazon to take over from Marin's role unless we want him getting more games out on loan. There. A free Marin replacement/squad player. Our full-backs would be sorted. As for central defence, if we don't feel like Ivanovic/Terry/Luiz/Cahill is enough, we can easily promote Christensen I believe. If we want someone of high calibre however, Mangala (Probably around £17m) or someone could come in. That's £27m spent. Now, reinforcement in midfield. Let's chuck in an experienced but still great De Rossi (£12m.) He'll play where Mikel currently plays. Also as he's a very good passer, there's no need to go out and buy an exclusive playmaker for the deep role. Partner him with Ramires. £29m spent. As for the striker, we can chuck anything between £15m - £40m-ish on Gomez, Lewandowski, Cavani, Falcao or whoever; or be brave and go with Lukaku. That brings our total to £29m - £69m depending on the striker situation, but to lower the total, I'll go with Lewandowski here and assume he'd cost around £23m. So we're at £52m. We then either loan out De Bruyne again or bring him in for the right-wing position. If he's loaned however, Moses isn't good enough to be our starting option there. Let's splash £15m on Sanchez or Di Maria If needed, £5m can be spent on contracts for handy free-agents as back-up, young talented players or whatever. We've also then got Kalas, Chalobah etc. all capable of coming in if needed. So let's put the final (well, at this point) total at £72m (If my maths has been right which I doubt a little bit.) We could potentially line-up with: Cech; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Mangala, Coentrao; Ramires, De Rossi; Sanchez, Mata, Hazard; Lewandowski On the bench we've then got something like: Blackman; Cole, Terry/Ivanovic; Romeu(?)/Lampard, Thiago/Oscar; Lukaku (if he stays)/Ba/Torres. Now our 'weakened' team in cups or vs. smaller teams could look something like:- Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Mikel, De Rossi/Lampard; Sanchez, Thiago, Hazard; Lukaku/Ba If Torres magically left however to some club like Atletico, I believe we'd get around £10-15m for him. If that were the case, our total expenditure would be:- £57m (Or even something in the £40m range if we put De Bruyne on the right and forget about Sanchez/Di Maria) It's a shame to have 0 British players in the Starting XI, but football is evolving. Deal with it. I should probably go play Football Manager now

Surely with a buy-out clause of £15m We, United, City, Arsenal, Milan, Inter, Tottenham perhaps, Dortmund(?) and even teams like Schalke and Leverkusen are interested. It really is a no-brainer. Who cares if we have a few midfielders already? Would you turn down Messi because we already have Torres, Ba and Lukaku in his position?
