When we won the Champions League we were a worldwide trending topic on Twitter for around 3 days I believe. Bayern have barely trended a day. Even Dortmund have been trending more than them despite losing the final Journalists call Bayern a 'model club' but that's a terrible thing to say. They just weaken their competition in the Bundesliga by taking and poaching their talent; their fans are abusive and fickle; they have too much say in what actually goes on in the league - almost like politics - like Manchester United. Sure, they bring through a decent amount of homegrown talent, but there's more to football than that. Juventus are a model club. Borussia Dortmund could be a model club depending on how they replace Gotze/Lew, otherwise they'll be seen as a German Arsenal - a team who sells their best players and are just content with floating around near the top. I think that's it in terms of model clubs. I guess you could throw in teams like Celtic, Barcelona if you overlook conspiracies etc.

I'd actually consider a £35m bid for Luiz. But the fact that it's only 'considering' when he does have his flaws and considering that it's such a big fee just shows how special he is both in terms of skill and personality. I don't think many players could replace him. Sure, Pap, Mangala, Subotic, Hummels, whoever you can think of who's considered a top defender, would probably add more stability to our back line and be more consistent, but they won't be as passionate, likeable, infectiously happy etc. as Luiz. At this point in time there's not actually a single centre back in world football I'd replace Luiz with. He simply needs a top partner to play with. Anyway I don't think he'll be sold. I think it's rubbish. If Mourinho chose to replace him I think it'd bring down Jose's name a bit. Or at least dent that 'special' title. I say this because it would give off the impression that he feels he isn't good enough to manage Luiz and coach him into a world-class defender.

Surely he'd be an upgrade in our pivot over Mikel, Ramires and even Romeu? He seems stronger than them all, a better tackler than all but Romeu and has similar stamina to Rami.

Oi. Regarding Stoch he's a really good player. I believe most Fener fans really like him. I guarantee he'll be a late bloomer and reach the level of someone like Robben later on in his career. So not an amazing winger, but a really, really good one. He's genuinely like a short, rough Cristiano. Very underrated. Sorry but i find it absolutely depressing and a travesty that he has a CL winners medal but Ballack does not.

I'd honestly feel so sick if Mata never wins a Premier League trophy with us. Eden too. Oscar also. I really can't see anyone but Jose being able to return us to the Kings Of England sort of status. If he comes in I'm sure we'll dominate once again and all worries about players 'wanting to join Madrid' aka Eden (a bit of a silly thought but still plausible) will be gone and all will be good I also feel properly sorry for Torres now. Being such a shit player and bringing down a beautiful club like Chelsea. I thank him for winning the corner which Drogba scored in the CL however and also scoring in the EL final. I believe Torres, as a person, deserves a PL medal. He certainly deserved one during his time at Liverpool. Again, I think that will only happen if Jose joins. I don't think Jose could magically make Torres how he used to be, but he'd take him to the 'next level' above what he is now IMO which'd only be good for us, even if he's a bench player behind Cavani or someone. Basically, what I'm trying to say is; Jose is god.

This will surely be his last season with us when next season comes around, so can we just try and enjoy watching him play when he gets games instead of talking about how shit his tackling is or how he is/isn't good enough to still be a starter? It'd be quite awful to miss out on his final games here. I don't think he'll be playing that much next season.

I didn't actually think they were that impressive vs. Dortmund. If you press against Bayern you have a really good chance. Under most managers we won't have the balls to press. But under Mourinho I'm sure we will, especially after learning his lesson vs. them in the CL semi-final. It'll be interesting if they try that tika-taka crap vs. us under Guardiola. This could actually be a decent chance to take advantage of their very own (slight) transition. I want to win this trophy so much.

The ceiling

I'm actually feeling pretty confident we'll get him. I think it's a myth that Man City will sign another 'top' striker especially with Manuel Pel. likely taking over. He doesn't like to rotate his forwards too much so there'd be unhappy strikers at the club. Us on the other hand always come up with a surprise. Torres - Surprise. Mata - Surprise. Hazard - Surprise (to me anyway). That trend will continue. Someone absolutely top will come in, and as for top strikers, Cavani is the only one who makes sense for this club as we like to go for established names.

His celebration would look a bit silly here. He's used to doing a huge roar like "RAWRRRRRR" or something when he scores which goes perfectly well with the Napoli fans going "GOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ", but here he'd get a little "Yay!!!!" from the crowd when the ball goes in followed by clapping for half a minute. He'd look very odd running to the fans with his mouth wide open and some 80 year old tourist being scared shitless.

You know, most of those Bayern players just seem to be celebrating like it's a German cup game, not a European final. Only Robben is doing it right.

They deserve it more regardless. Destroyed the La Liga champions. Disposed of the Serie A champions. Are the Bundesliga champions. Would have made mince meat of PSG surely.

Reus is lazy. He could have chased down the ball many times especially right there but for whatever reason didn't.
