This is a good read http://plainsofalmeria.co.uk/2012/04/12/1966-and-all-that/ -
Managers come and managers go, and in recent years faster than usual. But who has been your favourite manager? In the modern era Sexton got us out first trophy, Hoddle IMHO was a shit manager but fair play to him by attracting the players that he did he effectively started the revolution with the likes of Ruud, Franco, Robbie etc. Luca won a shitload of silverware, Jose won us the title back to back, Carlo won us our first double and Robbie our first Champions League title. So quite a task but who is the top man for you guys?

All we have to do to set another record is to retain it at Wembley next year.

Wigan put up a bloody good show as I remember. Was a corker from Crespo, shame his wife couldn't settle in London as a striker he had everything. My favourite goal of his was the Real Bettis one, one touch from Lampard, one touch from SWP and bang a rocket header into the net from Hernan Munster. From deep in our half three touches.

If it came as a straight choice between Franck Leboeuf and Marcel Desailly I wouldn't give it a moments thought, Leboeuf all day long.

I hate the Everton fucker, but if he is our fucker then that's OK. I think I am right that he constantly gets the most yellow cards so he will fit right in with us. I think refs get a bonus when one of ours gets a card or sent off.

From the minute he put on a blue shirt he was 100% Chelsea and when he took over the team he got them playing like that, which was an 180 degree turn around from the way that they had being playing previously. Anyone that was at the West Brom game could see that the team just didn't give a shit for the club, the shirt or each other. As a player I cannot remember one game that you could ever fault his commitment and his class was obvious. I just hope he is given the chance to do it without any interference from the suits or the owner.

I am a little pissed off at the way that Eddie Newton has not been recognised for the obvious work he has put in behind the scenes, I am totally positive that Robbie would not have been half as successful without him. Back to the original question, I hope that they both stay on and are given at the very least a one year rolling contract.

Chelsea - Barcelona. Big rivalry?
pride of lions replied to Hysteria's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I still hate Barca in fact everything about them. They have the best players in the World and they still have to cheat, they have this holier than thou attitude that is vomit inducing. Total cunts, and as for Pep being a messiah, my mum could have won what he has won with them with that squad. Remember Avram Grant? -

The first clear out should be the suits IMHO.
