No player has come through as a starter for Chelsea. And if Borini and Bruma count as players who have "come through" - then Arsenal have had 20+ players coming through in the past few seasons.
He showed promise. Made a few little nice runs playing off the last man, but didn't get picked out often enough. The one time he really got picked out though he carried the ball too long before Heaton saving his shot. Hope to see quite a bit more of him.
Joey Cole was decent, quite lively and made a good come back after how many months he's been injured. Zhirkov was solid enough at left back, didn't try anything too spectacular but put in a good debut performance. Best players were Ivanovic and Hutchinson at the back.
Zhirkov and Joey definitely starting then, with Kalou and Borini upfront, a shame Sturridge is injured but I suppose it gives our young Italian a chance.
The main thing that worries me about Tottenham is the pace of Defoe upfront, and potentially our incapability of dealing with it. If we let Lennon and Defoe have their own way against us, it could be a tense match. Restrict their movement and time on the ball, and we'll win.
Highlighted. Highlighted for you yoo. Is this forums preference to over-sea's fans evident again? I think so!!! I guess you meant team over time. And i'd hope you wouldn't "support" a team half way across the world as it'd be absolutely pointless. Those who take them camera's to the bridge piss me off when they sit next to me. I'd rather people not bring 'em.
