  1. Not sure what to say, funds are low after buying those Tottenham tickets this morning. Will probably go in for a couple, however small of a chance I may have.
  2. +1, was at school when they went on sale and I was just really hoping they'd still be on when I went back. Would have been a fantastic away day, five loyalty points and pretty cheap. Will hopefully get my hands on a couple ticket for Spuds away on Monday instead.
  3. I didn't want him last season and I don't want him now.
  4. ^ He's done a lot for this club... None of it is offical at the moment, so I don't think there is too much to speculate on. Obviously he's lost money due to the crunch, many of his shares will have collapsed etc but it's just to what extent.
  5. I would be happy with this squad next season GK's: - Cech - Hilario - Taylor RB: - Bosingwa - Ferreira CB: - Terry - Carvalho - Ivanovic - Mancienne LB: - A.Cole - (Ferreira as back up) CM: Mikel Lampard Essien Belleti (New) Wingers: J.Cole Kalou Stoch (New) Strikers: Anelka Di-Santo (New) (New)

  7. A very brief word of mine on the names that have been appearing: Zola - Not ready for the job yet and it's too much of a risk to take. I don't want our relationship broken with him if he turns out to not be the best manager at the Bridge. In a few years, yes. But only when he looks ready to take over us. Give him some experience at the Hammers. Grant - We didn't think he was good enough last season, why should we think any different now? Appointing him would just highlight how far we've gone back in the last 12 months. Steve Clarke - Although I would love him back in the backroom staff, he's unlikely to take that role and he's unproven as a manager. Hiddink - He's been managing Korea, Australia and Russia in the last few years with a hint at PSV. Maybe he is too accustomed to international football now and isn't ready for an instant return to club management... Unspectacular. Rikjaard - For me he's the best option at the moment. Did a good job at Barcelona, will have many contacts from them days, understands the importance of good football mixed with results and is a proven top club manager. Mancini - Again, a very good manager and I would be excited if we appointed him. Did very well at Inter, my second choice. Sven - Always have liked him, and I don't think he'd be the worst appointment by any means. Did well at England amd did well for City in his small tenure. My third choice.
  8. I'm not too sure you know what you're on about...
  9. Surely our full strength side is a big risk after the weekend? Southend will be working very hard, and I just don't feel Deco, Ballack, Drogba or Anelka will be up to it.
  10. Hoping for a win, but I don't know what to expect... The line up I think we'll go for... --------------Cudicini----------- --Ferreira--Mancienne/Carvalho--Terry--A.Cole-- --------------Mikel---------------- -----Belleti----------Lampard------- --Kalou-----------------------J.Cole-- -------------Di Santo----------- Subs bench being: Cech, Mancienne/Carvalho, Ivanovic, Mineiro, Stoch, Drogba, Anelka. Got a hint of possibly Mancienne and Di Santo starting mainly because they were both taken off at half time in our reserves fixture last night (dunno if that's to any significance though)
  11. I think he's quite being a puppet for Kenyon and co by saying this. He's frustrated there's no left winger so he can't play a 4-4-2, he knows the team isn't strong enough and if given the chance he'd be out there in the transfer market now. Instead, he's decided to make as little a deal as possible about there being no funds for him. Good on him. Dissapointed, we obviously need a winger but there you go...
  12. We played bad, but Joey Cole was quality. Great win.
  13. Voted. Didn't agree with some of the articles on it though.
  14. Yeah, gutted I couldn't get tickets as well. Was on that online virtual queue thing from 7-8am but couldn't get them. Will have to see/hear it from the sofa.
  15. Decisions - 5 positioning - 5 agility - 4 strength - 1 jumping - 1 work rate - 6 tackling - 6 pace - 2 acceleration - 1 crossing - 1 stamina - 6 marking - 9 (I ain't gay!) heading - 1 teamwork - 7 aggression - 1 passing - 5 technique - 3 dribbling - 4 first touch -2 creativity - 0. flair - 0. finishing - 1. off the ball 6. composure - 2. balance - 5. I'm pretty shit. I usually play right back.
  16. I think we'll live with no big signings this January. We've been excellent so far this season, and that's without 3-4 big players participating reguarly. With Ballack, Essien, Drogba and Joe Cole back playing week in week out, that'll be more than enough for me in January. We'll also get Ben Sahar and Mancienne back from Portsmouth and Wolves... We're fine!
  17. Argh I can't wait for tomorrow. Fucking 50 fake united fans at school are going to be shitting themsleves with laughter.
  18. - Drogba isn't fully fit. - Deco was fucking shit.
  19. Fucking shit. Deco didn't wanna fucking know tonight, and Malouda and kalou fucking frustrate the shit out of me. fucking shite performance.
  20. I wouldn't like to see any Chelsea players leave in January. Our squad is small enough as it is, and everyones contributed quite well so far (with the exception of a few decent squad players and injury's).
  21. Who cares if we have sacked this lot? They've hardly been delivering us quality young foreign players anyway, so they've been pretty much a waste of money. Roman may have lost a fair bit in this credit crunch, but everyone has and they've played it up a lot IMO.
