I'm saying on a season basis... 3 centre backs is very bare, and yes we did win the champions league without him, but i would have rather had another centre back in there. Especially with Ivan sometimes playing rb, and Luiz sometimes playing midfield. Cahill for me, is a great second string, but imo he isn't a first team centre back atm.
True on the mls front regarding money, but they would have him and still pay him a fair chunk. IF it is true, (which I doubt), then it could be tempting, but he has a lot of money, and perhaps he just doesn't want to go to Gala. I think especially with Jose coming, he could really be utilised much better. Atm rafa doesn't play him, say he isn't 100 percent. JT says he is perfectly fit.
Jose would be able to manage that situation much better.

If we bring someone in... Top quality, i. E. Subotic type, then yes, i would understand. But right now he is still one of our best centre backs. And managed right under Jose, him and Luiz would probably be our first choice pairing... Now we would have to game select a bit more, but i don't see, that after the injury he has been terrible as some people seem to think. He has had some bad games, but also had some solid games. Which defender hasn't.

I think that since he took that boot to the face, he's said to himself "that's enough of this shit" and he has started to look like player again and 20 goals is still 20 goals incredible I know I had to check.....

I can't fathom people saying Chelsea is poorly run. Chelsea is run quite well, methinks; save for a lot of knee jerk decisions, namely sacking managers.
Would you rather be like AC Milan, Blackburn, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Valencia?
Though to be fair in defence of Atleti and Los Ches, the financial gap of Liga BBVA is a tradgedy. Real and Barรงa are smothering Spain to death with a soft feather pillow. Killing them softly.

Yeah let's let Terry, Cole, Cech and Lampard leave ASAP because our squad can clearly deal without them. Right. Are you new to football or something? -

I find this offensive.
Over 60,000 Australians died fighting for England in WWI. Another 150,000 wounded.
Over 40,000 Australians died fighting for Australia (..and England once again...) during WWII. 180,000 wounded.

Firstly, I'm not aiming this at the majority (& I would imagine you know who you are, so please feel free to skip my massive raging rant), but having read through most of the posts in this thread today, I am actually absolutely perplexed at the stance some of you have taken regarding this ridiculous fiasco. Maybe I'm the one who's out of touch here, but it does shock me to see some of those who claim to be True Blues condemning one of our own players in such a manner.
If you're honestly going to tell me that, as a first team Chelsea player who has been running himself dogged for 80 minutes in a pivotal semi-final tie, you wouldn't have done exactly the same thing when faced with this complete & utter delinquent fuckwit who has just decided to flop to the floor like a mentally-incapacitated seal in an attempt to shield the ball nestled under his stomach - when you are clearly trying to get on with the game, thus what is essentially an opposition supporter obstructing your ability to continue your actual job - then you are either being entirely senile, or unbelievably naive.
Or maybe you just prefer lounging around in denial & lying to yourself since it makes you feel like 'a better person' for not wanting to curb-stomp that wanker's skull on a pitchside billboard. Obviously I would never actually do that, but I think you get the point.
Sure, for all of those that still believe in world peace & other such idealistic delusions - Hazard could have handled it differently if he had just waited around complaining, protesting & waving at officials, as would seem to be the obvious rational reaction for all of you 'morally superior' individuals. In fact, he probably should have just rolled a nice little joint & chilled out by the corner flag while he patiently waited for things to resolve themselves in due time; that would have been the sensible thing to do.
But considering the fact that the little wankstain initially let the ball roll straight past his feet before moving with all of the swiftness & swagger of a debilitated sloth, still refusing to give the ball to him amicably despite being less than an arm's length away, & then deciding to collapse to the ground in some desperately pathetic last-ditch attempt at succeeding in his pre-meditated goal of time-wasting - even then being completely adamant in protecting his 'precious' with Hazard trying to calmly reach under him to grasp it from his cretinous clutches - well then I don't see how there was any other option than to retrieve the ball by outwitting his feeble-minded fellow; which involved nothing more than simply poking the ball out from underneath him as anyone with basic football skills would do themselves.
But then shit hit the fan. Purely because the little fucker had the nerve to act as if there was actual significant force & contact behind all of a 35cm back-lift from Hazard's right boot, through an extensively padded winter jacket, before suddenly sitting up & mouthing off to let the Swansea players & the officials know he was in some kind of (un)imaginable agony; only to fall to the ground seconds later clutching his ribs once more, covered in crocodile tears, forever solidifying his universal reputation as an insipid putrid graceless virgin twat.
If you somehow still choose to vagrantly defy all logical reasoning & feel Hazard was in the wrong for trying to nick the ball off a 17-year-old in exactly the same way he would do with any opposition player of similar age in a similar situation on the field, or even with a teammate in training - then you are just as much of a massive saggy flapping vagina as that podgy piece of shit is.
That mug is an absolute disgrace to the game in every sense - & if you believe Hazard should actually be held responsible for what was an entirely transparent contrived act from an opposition supporter who clearly attempted to influence a top flight match through such a spectacularly retarded performance & display of appallingly desititute ethics & integrity, managing to not only complete his covert mission, but consequently quite possibly fuck up the rest of our club's season by deceiving the referee in the same manner that the likes of Suarez & Bale are constantly being abused for every week - well then so are you in my books.
When even your own rival supporters are recognising & voicing their disgust & contempt for such a despicable act that has defiled the integrity of modern day football itself (as if that doesn't happen often enough already as it is) - I am quite simply dumbfounded to find those whom the injustice has been committed against somehow being able to dismiss it with actual remorse for this supposed 'victim'.
Unfortunately, the individual that you seem to be condemning as the perpetrator - happens to be the one you should be vindicating in all reality. This fucking cunt is now the talk of the entire globe. Literally world famous overnight. An arbitrary achievement that is evidently worth tarnishing the reputation of one of the most promising & exciting young stars to have graced British soil in years; with nothing but implicit deceit & baby fat on his side.
If you actually take a step back & look at all of the evidence - the only real victim here, in the midst of this cataclysmic ridiculousness - is Eden Hazard.
& I honestly could not feel more sorry for the poor guy, because as far as I am concerned, he has done absolutely nothing wrong in my eyes - if anything - showing far more commitment to the cause than the majority of our team seemed to be last night.
The fact is that if it was me, as a Chelsea fan, & as a general indication as to where my own beliefs in such astonishing injustices lie - I would have actually given that wanker something to cry about. & then some.
Charlie Morgan - indisputable cunt of the year - scum of the football world.

People see what they want to see. That's why you're getting so many headlines about him kicking the ball boy when it seems pretty clear that he kicks the ball from under him. Should he have done it? Probably not, but Eden was trying to get on with the game and win it for us. He showed a bit of passion that was missing from so many other players' performances last night and some little shit was on a mission to slow the game down.
I'm never going to criticise a Chelsea player for caring too much about the performance and trying to get the win, especially when I don't think he's done much wrong. Honestly, I don't give a fuck how bad it looks on tv or how bad a PR disaster it is because I want players to play for the badge and give their all. That's what used to count to supporters of this club, not how shit affects the sales of fucking lunchboxes with Hazard's face on them.

This is whats shit about Modern Football. Mountains out of molehills -ever since Rupert Murdochs sky got it hands on it because its the peoples game, and he knew that he could make billions every year from TV rights -he has to marry it up with the soap opera side of things. Players private lives, scandals, and any kind of trivia that that the 10 second attention span , Freinds watching, X factor sucking, celebrity obsessed audience will swallow.
Ballboy? (18 in a couple of weeks) was a prick -and the other one on the other side as well, taking an eternity to return the ball -and if Hazard gets banned which is a given, then the FA should penalise Swansea for systematic and institutionalised time wasting.
Hazard is not a thug and it was because of the institutionalised time wasting by the Welsh club that led to the frustration. The whole thing should not be blown up, but learned from and move on

All the kinds of reason the press or some of us assume being behind the decision not to prolong his contract at all are grossly speculations. The only reasons I can think of that would justify this drastic decision would be a significant misconduct by Lampard,Lampard not sufficing the required footballing standards or Lampard planing his future elsewhere. None of which is reported, if not even the opposite is the case. As the reasons are not obvious, i think the board owe an explanation of some degree to us, the fans. Even more due to him being the greatest Chelsea player ever. As long as that explanation is not given and we are not even given a chance to retrace, it is impossible for me not to condemn the decision and calling everyone and everything that defends it into question. On the one side there is Lampard, 194 goals and 130 assists for the club, major performer in all title challenges, still one of our best and most consistent players on the other side there is silence by the board and a litter of devoid commonplaces and speculations that are neither credible nor exculpatory. Every proper fan and every rational man should know where their side is.

Well okay, for the benefit of those that require the TL;DR...
He's a delusional fuckwit because he is obsessed with youth & radical progression to the point of this prejudice obscuring his objective judgement & additionally tends to go out of his way to defend & consequently convince himself & everyone else to believe in the board's decisions as if they were his own. He attempts to be the constant iconoclast of this forum since he clearly revels in the controversy & enjoys being part of the minority since it provides him with the illusion of exclusivity which caters for his elitist mindset - yet in the end it almost seems like he is more of a puppet than anything else.
All in all, just a generally frustrating member with which to discuss more sensitive issues & topics such as this where there is really no middle ground in the matter. Mostly due to his sheer ignorance & constant deflection whenever he finds himself unable to respond to an argument with any valid points of his own - somehow that goes down as yet another victory in his books though so he just pretends like it never happened...
Pretty sure it's all just some peculiar superiority complex that an aging man is having to deal with (hence so much discrimination towards senior players of similar years?), but who knows. When he takes such oddly severe offense to what was - apparently according to his convoluted perspective & reasoning at least - a genuine accusation of being something that he's not - well then such a ferociously defensive stance just might suggest he may be a pedo after all.
So yer mate, that's what I really mean
