And? He is the type of midfielder that has to be compared to likes of Matic, Casemiro,...he might be b2b but thats solely because he is quite quick, dynamic, great runner and has good ball control. But first and foremost he is ball winner. Can people stop making Kante something he is not. Last season, he has been fantastic and thats why he also won poty of the year, a reward that almost never goes to such type of midfielder. And competition was fairly strong with Eden, Kane, Coutinho, Alexis... It speaks volumes of how great he is doing his job. But I guess until he will score screamers, dribble like Messi and pass like Xavi, people will always complain.

I must agree with Mourinho on his Neymar comments though. Paying 220 for Neymar, as huge amount as it is, its still fair. If you have to pay 40m for any decent player nowdays, 200m for one of the very best in the world and young aswell, it makes sense. But paying 150 for Dembele and any similar transfer is beyond ridiculous. This is where "small" clubs raise the prices. Fair play to them, but they have absolutely no right to complain on the fees they will eventualy have to pay for new players.

And Qarabag (chelsea, atletico, roma, qarabag) Not bad group IMO
-
Group C with Atletico and Roma. One more to go...
-
How did he play first two matches?
-
But almost every time we play much better with him than without, at least in terms of results.
-
We are linked with half of leicester lol. The board clearly missed Leicester was the "hot" thing last summer, not this one
-
In that case spurs would be the last to buy him
-
"Chelsea will launch 56th bid for the player"
-
'working on targets'

This was the first game in ages where we werent bullied in midifeld by tottenham. Either because of Bakayoko or decision to play 3 in middle, it was great plan by Conte.
-
There is alot of noise in italy that Marchisio wants to leave juve. If he stays injury free I would love him here for a year or two.
-
Yeah Llorente would be good additional striker to have. Feel sorry for Bats, but seems he just isnt up for it yet.
-
Today was difficult game for him, but he should burry that chance in the beggining.
-
Onda cero is reporting deal with Atletico is close. 45m +10m add ons.
-
In first two games he averaged 4 dribbles 1,5 key passes 4,5 long balls 87,7% pass accuracy 3,5 tackles 2,5 interceptions Kid looking realy bright. Hope he carries these performances through the season.

Feck take a chill pill. Right now everything is going against us. Injuries, suspensions, small squad, poor fitness. Our best player didnt even feature yet. I will worry when we will be at our best and still losing games, but when we are in such riggid state, its obvious we wont be playing great. United is in super form, no injuries, players inform, Matic and Lukaku straight impact, swansea and whu were in poor state too. If we dont end up winning the league, so be it. Right now we are in transition, just replaced key striker and midfielder with younger dudes and it will take some time. Also for Eden to return from his first major injury in career. But we will come back sooner or later. Just enjoy the road

2 weeks is still plenty of time if you consider 40% of our transfers have been done on deadline day in past years...
-
Tbf Sandro and Cedric wouldnt be bad at all IMO.
-
The rumours are getting funnier and funnier. Tomorrow we can expect something like Chelsea pushing for surprising moves on Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy.
-
Barca: we are close to Dembele and Coutinho Bvb: barca is no closer to Dembele, they are having headaches from real defeat.
-
Cech Iva-Carvalho-Terry-Cole Essien-Makelele-Lamps Robben-Drogba-Hazard Gudjohnsen/\Hasselbaink, Zola and Gallas were also quality in their best years at cfc.
-
He was below average at psg though. Even if we sign him, what if there will be zero impact from him? Pointless to just buy someone just to buy someone. At least buy decent quality or someone coming off a good season.
-
Well if they dont sell this summer, thats about potential 90m down the drain...
-
Well if we made signings somewhere in july, it wouldnt matter much, because they would all go through full preaseason and trainings. But right now, if we want new signings that will fit straight in with instant impact, im very certain that things like "did play in PL before" are quite important (and a bunch of othee details). Obviously not everyone that played in PL will guarantee impact, but its alot more possible than someone who never played in PL before. Kante, Rvp are two players I always keep in mind who have played in PL before and made instant improvement in Chelsea and United when they arrived. That has alot to do with quality of the players too, but then you had examples like Robinho who never realy made it in PL. Anyway, right now we are in extremely difficult situation. We need players that will give us instant impact, but I somehow doubt it will happen. Whoever we sign, will probably need "weeks of training to gain fitness and philosophy" etc etc. If we somehow manage to sign someone that will be match fit in two days or so, we will be blessed. Thats why I have no idea why people wanted signings this week, as if they would play straight away vs spurs. I gues the chances for that would be small. For me, as long we get business done, I dont care when. Be it tomorrow or last day of august.
