In january, a big signing will probably be expected and I dont see we will change our defence midseason (unless we realy struggle) and strikers are realy hard to come by, so improvement on RW would be logical. But even that is mission impossible. What position can we actualy improve in january? We realy missed the chance in summer not shipping Willian off.

I dont know why people wanted more from Kante. The man is a destructor. A hard worker that breaks play. Yet people point out he needs to do more in attack. More goals, better passes, more creativity? What the fuck? Did media completely brainwashed everyone into thinking everyone is good only if they score goals and make assists? I dont remember people saying "oh this dude Makelele is ok, but he needs to work on possesion and score more goals". Give the man a break. He is a DM beast while he is only allright in this advanced role. But he wont be the great game changer because thats not his style. People seriously dont appreciate anything anymore. Regardless of what anyone says, Kante isnt suited in this advanced role because his attacking outlet simply isnt that prolific. And his defensive atributes dont come as visible. But that doesnt mean he isnt crucial to the team. He does the hard work, so Jorginho can do his job and Kovacic can do his. Yet all we hear is "Kante man you gotta improve; better passing, better control, more goals, more efficiency, because we dont realy mind about the fact you are destructor so just drop that shit and focus on attack. We dont want you to be who you are, we want you to be more, something else, score goals and make assists because thats what counts"

Both Morata and Lukaku are below what you expect from a striker. Just a big fish in small pond type of strikers. They arent big players. Both Chelsea and United shoot themselves in the leg when paying 70m each on those two. Not that there are many better options, but still.

Sarri time bitches. I would like a win, but this feels so great. To think united thought they will win this and actualy started to fight for the club in a trans, only to be denied in last fucking minute. Fucking love it. P.S.: after equalizer i started shouting so loud like its new year 1976 and the neighbours thought im in a row with my dad again hahah Also I dont wish any bad to Mou, he applauded the fans, it was cool to see. I respect the history he achieved with us. But also fuck United. Come on blues!!!!

A bit inconsistent for now, but extremely promising, very allround player. If we cant get Kovacic on permament, Ndombele should be priority (or Neves)
-
He plays Juve, Milan, Inter and Napoli in next 20 days. Even if he bangs a goal against each, it wont matter that much because right now he is in crazy form and no one knows how will he recover when he hits a bust for few games (and he will like any other striker). But as of now, he scored against some realy realy average teams and that means almost next to nothing. Let him have a full season, then we shall see. If the price is anything above 50m in summer, avoid in big circle. Not worth the risk for a player with just one good season (Belotti, SMS are good examples).

Such a honest and humble man.
-
He is english and he has some potential, but can he actualy become top full back? He is injury prone and doesnt seem to be consistent enough. He is like lb version of Barkley, someone who is good but not realy great; ie a rotation option. If we go for another LB it better be some top class prospect or already established player. Even on free, it might be a no brainer yeah, but that means if we get Shaw, we wont get another LB and we are stuck with 3! LBs, but neither is real quality.

The old guard

The way I see it is Hazard was always dreaming about Real since being a kid, but all these years at Chelsea have grown feelings toward the club that are bigger than he thought and now he is sorta torn between moving and staying. I hope he stays but if he goes, everyone will understand. Chelsea would lose a massive player though.
-
IMO its just his development. He has been here for few months and is still a kid himself. Im sure he will get better with time. For now I totaly understand he wont be the most vocal person on field. But he is calm which is important. He came for record fee and tbh he is handling that tag brilliantly, I thought the pressure will get to him, but he was ice cold since that first interview when he signed. I just have good feeling about him. Coming from smaller club, the fee we paid for him, and that giant contract he was willing to sign give me alot of optimism he will stick here for the long run because he wants to and respects the lenghts the club went to sign him. Thats completely opposite to Tibo, his success in Madrid and family had set him to return there one day, despite Chelsea giving everything to accomodate him. Tibo came (or say returned) here as a star while Kepa is star in the making and if we are the ones to develop him, he will be alot more loyal. Thats why its always better to sign players from good, but not best teams. Torres, Sheva, Morata,...they were already Pool, Milano, Madrid bound. There are rare situations when players coming from big teams overcome their former team and become fan favourites like Makelele or Ashley Cole. Im sure Kepa will always have Bilbao in his heart, but he never had a connection to a big club before. Chelsea could be one and thats why I have good feeling about him, if he continues to improve as GK, Im certain he will end up as one of the Chelsea next generation greats

I feel both Barkley and RLC should have 2-3 full seasons in some middle table clubs and then they would become very good players. But here under heavy pressure and no regular playtime, I can see them stagnate. They lack that decisive edge, consistency, end product and some mental strenght, all that will come from playing week in week out.
-
Two games against shit opposition and we only managed to scrap 1:0 both times. Next one is bate, another average team. I expected we will roll over the teams in this group 3:0 at least, regardless of our form. But oh well, two wins and RLC got some minutes, so its not that bad. Our attackers without Eden are poor too, I wish CHO gets a game or two soon. It would be amazing for his development and surely we can afford it, I mean there is no chance we end this group in 3rd or 4th place.
-
With run of games, Emerson would definately improve alot. He was better than Alonso in italy by quitr a bit when both played week in week out. The ONLY reason why Alonso is playing in first 11 is his goal scoring ability which cant be underestimated. Kind of a character too, so I like him. But he is slow as feck and thats the big issue because there is highway behind him and he never manages to run at same pace as Eden or Willian when we attack which clearly shows how one dimensional our attacks are sometimes. Alonso can score indeed, but when it comes to actual offensive play, both Alonso and Azpi are average at best.
-
I like the lad alot so far. Quality wise, Tibo was good, but there was always something in air not right about him, you could never imagine him being a legend here tbh. Early days for Kepa, but he definately has a potential to become our legend in the future. He has proper character and I love that about the players.
-
Hazard to Sturridge after match: "It was not a bad goal, not bad...but do it next week, not now"
-
I dont see the hype about him anyway. If there is a CB from serie a that we should buy if we are looking, its Skriniar.

The numbers regarding Drinkwater are probably some of the absolute worst dealings that our board has done in the last 20 years. 40m fee and 100k per month, for someone everyone knew wasnt good enough to play here are beyond any explanation, english or not. You have bunch of players who could fit that spot, for third of what we forked on Drinks. Bakayoko was hyped up talent and it made sense to pay 40m then. But Drinkwater, thats the deal our board should be paying from their own pockets for such a fuck up. I know football is unpredictable and you never know how things will turn out. Not a single board is perfect in their dealings, but our board had so many fuck ups in the past few years that this isnt coincidence or ''who could predict?'' anymore. KDB, Lukaku, Salah sales, bunch of wasted buys, all the failed negotiations and there is big big chance RLC and Christensen will leave soon who will both end up very very decent players at least. Get a damn person who actualy knows football business. Thanks to Conte and Sarri we are actualy managing fine considering everything.

Batshuayi is the first player in 21st century to score a goal in PL, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and La Liga. Next year, a loan to Serie A
-
Marotta left Juventus in a shock surprise. We could certainly use someone of his expertise in board and the club should put alot of effort right now to get him as director. Its certainly worth a try, such people arent available every year.
-
They switched 3/4 of the team that brought them to PL, what else did they expect
-
Not the best defender by any meaning but amazing character and shows passion for the club in every big game. I dont get how some can hate him and want him out. Pointing at bench due to brainfarts in game yeah, but actualy hating on like him; such "fans" can fuck off.

Yep but City lacks core part of any team which is connection to the football club. They are plastic as it gets. Bunch of players thrown together and only reason they are doing well is Guardiola connecting them. But it might as well be City, Wolverhampton, Burnley, Nottingham Forrest they would be playing for. They wouldnt give a shit what club it is. It just so happens its Manchester City but they dont have any connection to that city/club/history whatever... Pool has that. They have Milner, Henderson, TAA who might not be the best, but they love the club. They also have Mane, Firmino and Salah who came to the club as alright players and Klopp/Pool turned them into world beaters for which they are grateful for. Pep has unlimited resources and whoever comes there is just another player to play in their chess game. Just like Mahrez. They already have shitload of players but they had to buy him too. Apart from Kompany there is not a single player that would be killing himself to win a game for them. Silva and Aguero come close, but they are not youngest anymore and not realy warrior type of characters (Aguero was, but not anymore) Their quality is big, but for europe and vs best teams in world, you need passion. City has no passion, much like Psg. Those two wont win CL for a long time with the way they play. Chelsea after Roman was kind off in the same situation, but we got blessed by Mou, Kenyon who realy created the passion and spirit at the club and bunch of players who managed to translate that on the pitch. You will never experience Terry, Ballack, Drogba or Lamps level of passionate emotions from City players. That will stop them from being great. Quality is one thing and it would work if Footballers were robots. But they are humans. And its surprising how much more you can give if you realy love something and fight for it, despite not having as much talent as someone else.

Shame we conceded so late, but it was coming to us, just hoofing the ball in final minutes. Whole team played well, except for Morata. The fucker just walks around. We totaly get it his confidence is low, but at least work your ass off for the team like everyone else does. He is lazy and lacks proper motivation.
