Hi! Im buying new phone, kinda settled for Samsung S9 (probably + model), and while I have nothing to lose, is there anyone here that has S9 and what is your experience so far? Thanks in advance if anyone bothers to answer on these hot days

Its a long shot, but if the club was tiny bit ambitious, we would at least bid heavily for him. Tibo isnt perfect, but only way we dont downgrade is to get Oblak as replacement. Everyone else is clearly not as good as Tibo/Oblak. We spent 60m so far, I hardly hardly believe we dont have at least 60m available. Plus whatever Tibo sale would bring. Oblak isnt impossible at all when it comes to cash, but 1.) Would he want to come 2.) Can board even identify him as best option and be brave and bold to bid

Tbh its quite understandable spain prefered Nacho ahead of Azpi. He is more fluid and adjusted to possession play. Azpi will remain in first 11, no doubt, he is hard worker and quick learner, but IMO his role will be smaller. He was defender past two seasons with option to move forward here and there. Now he will have to press high, run more, play combinations with RW. Hysay isnt attacking RB yes, but much more composed with the ball than Azpi. Its simply phylosophy, Hysay was playing for Sarri who has completely different style of play to Conte or Mou. Defensive RB yes, but his role and style of play adopted to Sarri. Azpi is complete opposite, but he will adopt, im sure of it. He will probably look more out of place than usual in the beginning though

He was never starter in previous clubs, he had flaws, but back in Juve when he did play, he gave everything and realy worked hard, plus whatever he did with feet was actualy realy useful even if he didnt score everytime (still, he scored some brilliant goals). That game vs Bayern, he was nearly perfect striker and everyone expected he will be huge player soon. He wasnt regular on score sheet, but in big games, you could realy realy count on him. One year after joining Cfc, he cant shoot, he doesnt work enough and his link up is average as hell . The bigger match, the more he will flop and dissapoint Is it players being shit or club actualy squeezes the joy out of them? Current team; out of high profile players, Hazard, Kante, Azpi upped their performances since joining us. But Tibo went sideways, Cesc too (but he got old), Willian too, Morata complete downhill and same with Bakayoko. Former players like Matic, Oscar also went downhill (and then Matic in United back to being solid...) Meanwhile Kdb, Salah huge improvement once they left Chelsea. If Jorginho wont perform like he did in Napoli, I wouldnt be surprised at all.

Everyone, this is what people refer to as karma. Throwing out actualy good striker (Costa) for being a bit of a dick (and obviously everyone gets offended nowdays) and replacing him with "nice" striker. And obviously it didnt work. Like they say, dont replace something that isnt broken.

Like I said, this team will need two seasons to adopt to Sarri. Stop complaining after few games and support the team. How is it hard to understand we will need time to change philosophy? Unless you watch football for about 3 months now, that was pretty clear for everyone. BUT I do have something to say, and its not a complaint, but just something I felt a while ago and games have somewhat confirmed that. This team is more or less realy not suited for Sarri. He wont just transform players from defensive into high pressing. Its in their nature. Alonso, Cesc, Morata have absolutely no place here whatsoever and then there is Azpi. Wonderful player, but like some others, he isnt fullback to play possession football. He does simple things in attack, simple passes and crosses in middle. No dribbling (like Marcelo), no playmaker creativity (like Lahm). He isnt fast eiher. But he is hard worker and being top lad, he will adopt to his best and still play under Sarri. I just think he wont be as good as he was past few seasons, because he isnt realy Sarri type RB. And the board realy fucked up if they thought a single(!) player will be enough to change entire system. But regardless, I cant believe people already shitting on this team. It was expected we will start slow, our defence being crap for a while etc etc. I just hope club will stick with Sarri and give him 2 seasons even if we win jack shit. Liverpool with Klopp is perfect example how we might do for a while. Teams will destroy us often, but eventualy we will get shit together and reward will be huge. KTBFFH

Seems he just wanted Conte out and not leave the club. Humble opinion, he should only be sold for Bailey or Malcom (that ship sailed though). Martial isnt even RW ffs and lazy ass who needs to go to a well balanced club to learn humility and work ethic. Not ready to come here where everyone expect him to do miracles and the club being a big mess.

I wouldnt have my hopes high on Bats. Its all just wishful thinking he will be good because Morata is so bad. Fact is we need new striker. Emerson is completely unproven thanks to Conte. Had few good games, but that means nothing. He needs run of 5-10 consecutive games before we can judge if we need new LB or not (but who are we kiddin, Alonso will play anyway ) Luiz is liability as CB in 4atb. So far. I doubt Sarri will do miracles, Luiz simply isnt reliable CB (but he is great character and motivator to have). Barkley? Nothing special about him so far. Ok player, good potential and has chance to surprise positively, but as of now he is only decent player, not creative enough. I also have worries about Tib giving his all if he isnt focused on staying. And Azpilicueta. This one will be hard to say and probably unpopular. The man is fantastic defender. I realy realy realy like him. But I have doubts he can actualy play possession football. You know, in a manner like Ghoulam, Lahm, Marcelo who are very clever in attack, good on the ball and dynamic. Press high etc. Azpi is pure defender and when he goes forward, he can put a great cross, but he is hardly someone who can be realy creative from wing or take on opponents and dribble past/or pass realy cleverly (which is very important in Sarri system). Zaha isnt here, but IMO he is someone a big team would buy for rotation. If he ended here, it would be more as desperate option, just to add something in attack rather a real proven quality that we desperately need. ----- Now I know this is our reality, Im not pointing out we should replace them all or whatever, but IMO this team isnt one that can "go far". If we finish 4th, I would be happy enough fot upcoming season.

I prefer hoof the ball Godin over fancy Stones, Otamendi, Luiz, Christensen any day. Zouma can become great defender and honestly I wouldnt care if he wasnt great on ball.

Zouma looks alot more like another Salah/Kdb. The club should include buyback clause simply because there were too many fuckups recently. Anyway, we can discuss this again in 2 years

Watch him become top top CB elsewhere. The club was trying to get Rugani when you already had good CB who needs a bit of work (like Rugani doesnt lol) I realy wish he leaves as soon as possible because club once again showed no faith. Idiotic board.

See all youth wants to play for club one day. But club doesnt show faith in them. If Chalobah was given same respect and trust like Bakayoko was, he would be eager to stay here and fight. Agree about being patient though. People laugh at Lingard, but the kid actualy stayed and fought for his place, despite he was already quite old for "talent". He isnt great player, but I would love our youth had similar mentality. Fight for the place. Chelsea created this stupid common knowledge that young players wont be given much playtime and everyone knows it. The way we treat our loanees is nothing short of embarassing. We had RLC, Chalobah, Baker, Palmer. Neither got any real chance yet and probably never will. Winning youth player of the year rewards you with endless loan to holland or championship or season with first team where you get 3 games. And allright if your rivals are Ballack, Essien, Lamps...but fucking Bakayoko, Drinkwater or aging Fabregas given more faith and trust? F*ck, I would leave tomorrow too. One thing is buying world class players. Another is buying world class talents. But buying average dipshits to fill squad, when you have youth who is at least as good? Club simply didnt trust Chalobah like they trusted Drinkwater for being more " experienced and reliable". No wonder he decided to leave.

Depends on what Pedro we will see. 2017/18 Pedro should be sold. 2016/17 Pedro however is great option to have. Willian for 60m was golden chance to bring talented winger in, but board messed up. Why are our players so inconsistent though? Willian and Pedro on good days, we wouldnt even need replacement. But you never know what to expect from them and thats why we should sell one, despite neither is bad player. Just incredibly inconsistent.

Granny will wait till PL window closes, then sell Tibo to Real and we will be left without quality GK. But hey we will have cash in bank that will never be spent on quality players. If Tibo was nailed on to leave, we should sell him weeks ago and get Alisson. The board is even more stupid if they sell him now.

Not bad at all. But when you consider we NEEDED 3 top quality players this summer (probably more, but lets be reasonable, 3 is possible) and settled for only one, its stilll very much bad window. We could easily sell some deadwood and buy a quality player with that money.

Indeed. Strong defensive pair and regular goalscorer. We have to fix that. Id give Emerson a chance, becuse Alonso is waay too slow for Sarri system. Rudiger is probably first choice CB and we need to find his partner quick and work on it. As for striker, Morata looks unreliable as ever and I wouldnt count on Bats, he doesnt press enough to play under Sarri. But Higuain or Icardi are not answers either. Big dilemma.

Completely agree, but I fear this team has so many players that dont fit Sarri. Even after a while, with all instructions known, I feel some players wont be up to the task. Cesc pressing high? Alonso running up and down? Both are slow as hell and literaly cant play the way Sarri wants. Morata is plain awful too. As for CBs, we have soo soo many options, but hell I dont see single player that would be nailed on, dependable option. And that is my single biggest worry. We dont have a CB that could dictate the defence, which is absolutely crucial part. Crucial. Without strong defence, we will lose all important games. If you have a good CB, he can help the other guy and we have plenty of options for that. But when you have two suspect, inexperienced CBs, that can be big problem. Two seasons ago, we had Azpi as RCB and Cahill as LCB, something completely else compared to what we have right now (Luiz who is suspect in 2 CB system, inexperienced Zouma and Christensen, Rudiger who is somewhat hit and miss and past it Cahill. There isnt single out and out class CB. Caldara and Rugani that we have been linked with dont fit that bill either.

I consider talent someone 23 or below. After that I expect them to start performing on regular basis, and with sort of impact. Suso didnt impress me. He is a player you get for your rotation. Thauvin? Yes he scored 26 goals, but dont let that fool you. I watch ligue 1 a lot and he isnt nowhere near the player we should be getting. Small team killer, chokes when it matters. Not to mention he has typical french mentality, full of himself and when shit hits the fan, he will let you down. He is tacticaly inept, much like Nasri, Ben Arfa or Payet to extent (but he actualy proved something in his career). Thats why I called him cunt, not because his stay in Nufc. Cabaye played for Geordies and I liked him alot. He has alot of talent, but rotten mentality. Thats why he left nufc when they were relegated only to return back to france on loan where he decided to stay permamently, despite nufc hoped to be in plans for last season. His flop in europa final is nice example. And yes Zaha is a no go either. We need to find someone long term for that right wing, someone with proper mentality, and elite talent. Bailey fits that. Chiesa too, but isnt as fitting to PL as Bailey is. Every other option is second option, a quantity option instead of quality. Few months ago, I said I will be happy with good CM (to replace Cesc) and Bailey. Specificaly him. You dont come up to someone talented, chelsea fan, available and tailor suited to PL every year. And counter fits Hazard perfectly. Eden is playmaker, dictates play, while Bailey is direct, loves to shoot and cut in from the wing. The kid is going to be big one day. I know we have lost ambition, but fuck those good, but not great players, get a 5 star prospect for once.

Willian isnt all that bad. People need to stop underrating our players. What those players have over Willian is potential, but hardly anyone is actualy already better. They are, like Willian inconsistent due to age and their best game isnt better compared to best game by Willian. But the cash for Willian (60m) is too good to turn down for a 30yo. And he slapped himself with Conte jibe. Still, out of those mentioned, I would only take Bailey or Chiesa. Pulisic isnt worth reported 70m, Bernardeschi and Inaki are talented, but they never actualy delivered yet. They are nowhere near ready to just replace Willian in our first 11 and give impact. Meanwhile Suso and Thauvin are hardly talents anymore IMO. Neither is good enough for elite club. Thauvin is also one big cunt, I wouldnt have him anywhere near this club. Bailey is a real baller though and CFC fan. He has mentality, is eager to improve and made huge jump last year. Has also all physical qualities for PL. Chiesa not so much, but his ball control is amazing

Why the hell are we not selling him to create space and cash for Bailey?? Willian is nearly 30 and he isnt anywhere great player. This club sold Kdb, Salah, Lukaku, Matic,...but they want to hold on fucking Willian. I liked him, but after what he did to Conte, he can feck off. He isnt consistent for two straight games and goes on about United and Mou all the time. Just get Bailey. There is still Pedro as "more experienced" player, not to mention this is season of adopting, with no huge goals, giving some talented but not established players great opportunity to play regular (Christensen, Emerson, maybe even Barkley, RLC and CHO). Bailey would fit perfectly. He is direct, has eye for goal, quality dribbler and physicaly perfect for PL. And Cfc fan. What more obvious has to come for board to see a great opportunity? I wouldnt be surprised if we sold Tibo, Eden and Willian in last second, only to get some overhyped replacements in Martial, Butland, Bernardo...

I hope he stays in Lyon for another year to develop more, then we buy him Would compliment Jorginho playmaking and Kante defensive skill with ability to dribble through midfield. He is very unique. But ffs dont let Spuds get him, he is great to watch and would be crap to see him in that kit.

This is first "real" preaseason game under Sarri and people already complain. What did you expect, Sarriball to just happen instantly? We will watch this shit for next two seasons probably and get embarassed against many quality sides before we actualy get hold of attacking football. Thats the price of going into attacking style after decade of park the bus football. Now get your shit together and support the team. You wanted Sarri and fancy football, no? I just hope the club sticks to this philosophy for once and wont sack Sarri in two months. Because its clear as day our team will need long time to adopt ti pressing and high line defending. Expect shit defending for a while. But support the team regardless.
