Eto'o

If thats so, Falcao will stay at Atletico, they will pay their loss and also get bunch of world class players. Madrid will have two power houses, Spanish laliga will be more interesting and we will buy Cavani instead. I dont see any problem there. But to actualy buy a club, there is whole protocol about this, you cant buy it tomorrow, afterall IF Slim wants to buy club, he hadnt picked one yet and its not necesarry he will chose Atletico, yet its most possible option. I prefer to keep Atleti like it is. They run club well, but if Slim buys it, well, money makes the world go around...

To be fair, we dont realy need him as we have Mikel and Romeu, but only if he could work together with Mikel or Romeu.
-
He would be quite expenive and despite I like Lewandowski as player, he never realy fascinated me to be realy top striker. He scores lot of goals, but I just dont see him to be match winner. Falcao or Cavani are much more proven, they are scoring on regular basis against big teams aswell and they are pushing their teams forward, meaning that because of them, their teams play on next level. Lewan is great striker too, but he lacks premier league abilities which is based on lot of strenght and air duels. I might be wrong, but I would likely too see Falcao/Cavani for 50mio than Lewandowski for 25-30 (because we are chelsea and borussia will try to get most of the deal), specialy because Lewandowski might have some problems at start and is very unexperienced player, that means that he could burn from expectations. And as for Falcao, he is my first choice, but I wonder how will he get into our game, as we play ofensive and not counter attacking football. He is great at counters with crosses and lot of free space. In england, there will be no space. That is why I think Cavani would suit us even better, maybe he is not better than Falcao, but in england, he could turn out to be better choice. I remember his games vs City and us in CL last year, he was scoring goals by pushing defences while Napoli was attacking, Falcao scored all three goals against us from counter attacks. I have some feeling that Falcao would fail here, as he looks VERY similar player to younger Torres. Same atributes, dribbling, shooting, pace, explosivness,...I dont know, but Falcao would realy shine only with some spanish team, I I would be choosing between Falcao and Cavani, I would think twice before picking Falcao, I dont want we get another Sheva/Torres, no matter how brilliant player Falcao is right now.

He was injured 3 months. After recovery, you dont just start playing every game. 30 mins, 30 mins, one half, 75 mins, then maybe 90 mins regulary,... Remy is much stockier now after injury than he was before. He is also 1,84, plays for Marseille and will be 26 next year. If he scores 20 goals this season, it woulnt be bad to consider his buy. Could turn to be great striker, but he must have a good season now.
-
Well, motivation shouldnt be missing from our players. Keep calm and Burn Manure
-
Atletico wont win the league. Simply. They are great team, I guess they would get far in CL if they were in this year, but they wont beat RM and Barca in laliga. Personaly, I just want Falcao or Cavani in Chelsea by january. I cant watch Torres anymore, sorry.

It wasnt insulting, I said that our last ten years were mainly supported by Lamps and Terry, two english players. Others like Drogba, Ballack, Mata,...all did great job, but homegrown players usualy stay at club and always give it all. Yesterday match was truly covered with fighting spirit of Hazard, Rambo, Luiz,...nothing to say against it. My point is that as english club, I would love to see at least few key english players to be in this team, not just foreign (despite they are awesome too). I mean, there is nothing better to have homegrown captain and playmaker, striker in the team. Nothing beats that feeling when you buy english talent, then convert it into world class and watch him shine for your club. Just sayin' Mceachran could turn like that, but I have feeling he wont make it at all, because of his attitude like he doesnt realy care.
-
Something I thought yesterday, when we were playing with only one english player, Cahill. In past years, we didnt bought any english player, bar Cahill, while Joe Cole, Terry, Lamps, Ashely Cole will soon leave us. I think that having Homegrown players is much more important than having some world class ones. They never let you down and are always putting 1000% of their energy. Im not saying foreign players dont, but english players will always give all their heart in matches similar to Terry and Lamps in the past. Or Xavi at Barca, Scholes at United,...Homegrown players also dont leave for big bucks, unlike foreign. Once Real will be in for Hazard, its gonna be hard to keep it. While english players. remain pretty much all their careers at their home clubs. United got Cleverley, Evans, Jones, Smalling, Powell Arsenal go Ox and Wilshere I think we should try to get some english players to our club in next years.
-
I guess its too soon, but its going to be one of current team I guess. Terry is 32 and could be at top for two years max, while Chalobah (or whoever else from youth team) is far top young and unexperienced to be handed armband in two years from now. My potential options are Cahill, Mata, or Bertrand if he gets regular football in these two years.
-
The only problem yesterday was Fernando 'cant do anything' Torres and defence that looks very very unconsistent. Other than that, we had great match, United was shit after second goal and ref blow up the game. Only positive I see after that game is that we are better team overall and that Danny and Azpi will get more chance now, since Brana and Torres are banned.
-
That is because Mata, Hazard arent that tall. Rambo is neither good in the air, while Mikel has defensive duties. Brana could run in penalty sometimes, but not every time. That means, we basicaly have only one player in penalty area when crossing, Torres.

Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg
BlueLyon replied to bababoom's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I wouldnt expect that from ref, but for no reason, Chelsea wouldnt put complaint. However, even if it was something or not, nothing is going to happen, because of lack of evidence... It could also be somekind sneky revenge from cfc towards clattenburg for his shitty refereeng and a warning not to fuck with chelsea or he will lose his yob. -
First, sorry for title, I didnt meant to be offensive. So, our players love to play with the ball, but many times, they lose it instead of continue the attack. Examples; Torres, Rambo, Hazard, Oscar, Brana,......list goes on. We start many games with reserve, like we are shit in first 30mins and then start playing better. But in those 30mins, our players look total disaster to watch. Try some tricks with ball, instead of pass it on or cross it, and result is lost ball. Im asking if having 3! Playmakers in midfield is good option or not? Hazard, Mata and Oscar definately can play together and potential of this trio is realy huge, but there is one problem. Each of this players can dribble first, passes second and shots third, no one can realy cross like from wing. All cut inside and try to show themselves instead of making deadly crosses inside penalty area in zero time from receiving the ball. Valencia, for example has very good crosses. Our game is very one dimensional, that is certainly not the best thing. On 8/10 matches we outplay oponent by short passing, but the 2 games, we cant realy get near the goal for some reason. With proper crosser, we could extend our attacking options greatly and not just that, but also almost every world class striker would fit our team and that means less risk for another flop. Right now, we cant cross for life and if someone like Falcao scores 3/4 of his goals from crosses, it would be disaster to buy him for 60mio and then find out we cant deliver him the ball. Sure Torres is number one problem here, as his ball wanking instead of trying to shot is awfull. Replacing him for someone else would already expand our attacking options. But with good crosser, would be have no more problems in putting ball to opponent air-space. Kdb will coms next year and he could be the key to our team (maybe even for Torres), but I believe world and all Chelsea fans cant stand another striker flop at SB for big money. Dont forget that Torres was briliant at Atletico and Lpool because of their crossers and if Falcao is similar type to Torres, we will spend another 60mio for what? So, should we concentrate to get some cross training and tell Oscar, Mata and Hazard to cross more over just low short passing? I love our short passing and ball possesion when it works out, but there are many times when you need some strenght and air balls in penalty area to break defence, something we lack big in this new Chelsea team.
-
Im not that sure about Lewan. He seems like unfinished diamond, but we would need someone with imediate impact. That means a world class striker for lot of money unfortunely. With Danny and Lukaku we have plenty for future. And Lewan is not coming cheap, 25mio at least. I know, sometimes a less good striker like Lewan, Remy, Damiao, Bony, Pato,...would do even better than Top class one, but Drogba was 26 when he arrived and he was mentaly strong person to keep trying here, I fear if Lewan or Remy wouldnt start well, it would be too much pressure on them and another Torres case. Time to start looking for MENTALY strong striker aswell. Someone who does the job always. Ibra was fucking great choice, too bad he is in Psg now. Falcao seems world beater and also what I like most, player who scores every time in big games. He scored in europa league finals twice, against Barca, Real,...something what Drogba was doing. But if he somehow gets in bad form, who knows how it will turn. Also if his stats for goals from crosses are right, we should think twice, as our team doesnt have enough good crossers. On other side Cavani is playing for team that plays similar to us, attacking football with passing attacks, not so many crosses.
-
Pato is great striker when fit, very fast and his brazil dribbling and speed could beat any english defence, but as said, he is injury prone and he also lacks fitness right now. I know its ridiculous, but if we would get him for 15-18mio, considering his injury problems, I would take him, but he is definately not worth more money due to risk. Rossi was also worth 30mio, but now with his injury problems, he is worth 15.
-
You cant compare that. Spanish league is completely different than English. There is much value on speed and dribbling, while in england is much more physical, strenght, fitness and stamina. Teams play more defensive and tough. Also dont forget we lost high against this 'average' Atletico by four goals. I can imagine Falcao to be another flop if the league wont suit him, despite his fantastic form. Or he could be even better with Harzard, Mata,...a big risk. I guess its him or Cavani in January/summer.
-
All those fauls vs us, chicarito offside goal, 2 rather unfair red cards for chelsea players and one ungiven to Evans. Terrible shit and that makes me sick, as you cant even get a fair match in top english competition in biggest derby of season. Bravo FA, you fucking bunch of motherfuckers.
-
Its a disgrace. A fucking disgrace this ref and FA.
-
Fuck of ref and united. Mood right now: pissed
-
Cmon Chelsea
-
KEEP CALM AND BEAT UNITED
-
Well if KDB has good season, then we realy dont need CM, I agree. Maybe 4:3:3 like Iva-Terry-Luiz-Cole Oscar-Mikel-KDB Mata-Falcao-Hazard
-
Well Falcao or Cavani would be around 50, Papadopolus around 10-15 and CM like Romulo around 18mio. Hummels, Vidal, etc are just expensive wishes, but Falcao, Papadopolous and Romulo would cost combined of around 80mio pounds. With fact that at least one will come in winter, probably striker or CM, we will surely spent around 20 in winter and then 60 in summer. That doesnt sound too harsh. And sure sell of Torres would give us at least 15-20mio back, means we would then spend around 60mio for all three players.
-
Sell him to Arsenal where he will rip us apart in next season and we will be knocking our heads why the fuck we sold him...Sarcasm off. Just give him play time, then again and again and he will show how good he is. He was a bargain and if he doesnt make it here, fine, but just give him the chance. And fuck of all who dont believe in our players before you even seen them play, just because they came cheap.
