I have mentioned him and couple others IF the board would actualy sign any DM to give Mikel some competition. But personaly I wouldnt replace Mikel and buy other DM. After all we have Chalobah and Romeu for future. I also mentioned Song or Witsel for example, but only if he would play along Mikel As for Benat yes. But he isnt DM and has nothing to do with Mikel.

IF Jose comes, we can expect a very good CB in first place. He was always 'mad' on good strikers, so probably Cavani/Falcao/etc or he could find next Milito. There is certain he will strenghten midfield. Not a DM because he worked with Mikel before and Obi was great under him. Someone along him to command game. If he will make us counter attacking team, a very fast winger will come aswell. Thats basicaly it if Mou comes. Perhaps we should just buy De Rossi to pair him with Mikel. He is great CM/DM who is experienced and is known to dictate midfield with his vision, passing and explosivness (but he wont leave Roma ) ST, CM and CB should arrive in summer, cheap or expensive; they are required for next season.

Great win, United was just shit comparing to their best games. Shame Cole picked injury, he will probably miss two weeks. The goal and Cech save were superb. But I wasnt too happy with Mata taking shots all the time. He is our creator and playmaker, not main star and goalscorer. Sure this season when Hazard had to adjust and we had no real striker, he was brilliant as he pushed us forward. But next season he will have to take different role. Hazard will become our "Ronaldo", while Mata needs to do his work in creativity. Sure if he can score why not, but if there is striker open to score goal, he should pass to him, not shot himself. There was action today when Mata had lot of time to pass to Ba from side, but he decided to shot from nearly impossible angle. Anyway he still had superb game, but you could see in his eyes he wanted to score and wa dissapointed he didnt in the end. Now we have City and I feel they are much harder oponent to us, we always fail against power of Citys midfield somehow...

We should sort few things out first. 1.) get a new manager. A motivator, tactic and loyal to club with some experience. Mou would be ideal, but there are other choices, just board needs to find them. 2.) once we get manager, we should take deep look into our backstaff. From support coaches, technical team, etc. Im sure Mou would bring a man or two he worked before with. 3.) get right formation and style of play. It depends on how we want to play. Possesion football or counter attacks? Then manager should pick right formation to suit our style and players. 4.) once we have formation, we know who we need to bring in. New players should be taken serious check before signed, I dont want any more ''dead wood'' here like Marin or Torres who are just not usefull or too expensive. 5.) Then ultimately comes down to players. Current team has 24 players. With loanees (that are possible part of next season) we get 12 more players. But from current team, Malouda, Hilario, Benayoun, Marin, possibly Lamps, Turnbull, Torres and Ferreira will leave. They should. Then we have 16 players + KDB, Lukaku, and maybe Essien, van Aanholt who can return to this team. 21 then. Courtois, Chalobah, Kakuta, Piazon, Bruma, Hutchinson, Wallace, Kalas, Josh should stay on loan. Personaly, I would extend Lamps contract, just because he can still add some experience to the side. 2/3 players more and we have 25 players for next year. GK: Cech, Turnbull, Blackman DF: Luiz, Terry, Cahill, Iva, Azpi, Cole, Van Aanholt, Bertrand CM: Mikel, Essien, NEW DLP, Ramires, Romeu, Lamps AM: Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Kdb, Moses, NEW WINGER? If anyone it should be a cheaper winger, definately not someone like DiMaria, Sanchez, James, but someone like Ayew, Payet who can wait on bench and do impact from game. Main players would play PL and CL, youth players should play cup games. And I mean all of them. Even if we play vs City or United, they should play. It will give them experience and regular players will get the much needed rest. There we can be sucessful and evolve youth players at same time.

That guy Dzemaili was awesome too I havent seen three such superb goals from single player for a long time. But yeah Cavani is just having best season, he would be a massive player here. For some reason I feel Falcao could fail here, but I dont have same feeling for Cavani. Anyway such performances are putting his price sky high and he wont go for anything less than 45mio.

Im laughing when these 'news' keep mentioning Falcao and Real Madrid when its generaly known fact that Atletico will never sell him to Real, somehing Mou told months ago. I guess its us, City or Psg. He is younger, has more abiities and proven in CL. Only thing Falcao has better is finishing/heading. Sure on his day Falcao can destroy opponent on his own alone; but the last game that Falcao was realy beast was against us back in summer. Since then he scored lot of goals, but he didnt impress me that much like he did last season. One thing is guaranteed. When Falcao has no support, he is anonymus, when Cavani has no support he still fights back like lion. Sure Chelsea can load striker with lots of balls, but usualy our strikers are very lonely and Cavani can still perform in such games, while Falcao cant.

Well not many defenders can put Messi in pocket and Varane did just that. When Marquinhos will play for top club against the likes of Barca or United we will talk who is better. Also Varane would fit in any league at the moment, Marquinhos is more Laliga or Serie A player. But I agree that Marquinhos is second to Varane.

Who said we shouldnt give chance to youth? All I saying that youth cant be our leaders and we need to buy two players. Period. You keep mixing this two things..one is to give kids chance, something else is to place them in starting team and not buy anyone and then just watch what happens... Sure we wont be in top 4 next year with such squad and no one here or at Chelsea board wants that except you. You cant sacrafice the CL for youth project at club like Chelsea. Thats it. You wont see it anytime soon.

Now its about money, glory, importance, sucess, trophies...take that away from us and think again if Mata or Hazard (among others) would stay here. For what? Being fifth in league, just to create some youth project etc.? It sounds nice to have our own team of players we produce but it doesnt go like that. What you think about is utophia. Its never going to happen. We will lose players, money, trophies. In few years we will be medium team with homegrown team. So what? You dont realy think that we can produce 8 homegrown world class players? If 2 will be starters in next five years I will be extremely happy. Keep up the balance. Experience/Class-Youth/potential. Right now we have dozen of potential players but very very few top class players. That us exactly why we need two players in summer. If you think getting Cavani and Moutinho is bad because we should have this so called youth project for next 5 years and give up on everything and start from bottom then I dont know what is wrong with you?! It will take 15 years to create something like Barca or Borussia is doing to have youth, fans, great play and success together. This things take time. You have established 11 players and every two seasons you bring in another youth player to try him in first team. Some succeed some not. In the end you have 60 foreign and 40 homegrown players and thats success over 15 years of creating everything from attitude to fans, board members, buying policy etc. If you think we can just do this in few years you are heavily wrong. In best case your scenario would be like this: we give chance to youth. They dont show enough. We dont qualify to CL for few years. We lack money ti buy players to save situation. We are forced to sell our best players. We lose several fans. We never reach 3 place in PL. We cant attract new players. We cant win any trophies. Roman decides to sell us. Bottom of the story. It takes 10 years to finaly rebuild team. We have new board, coach and full mix of youth and experience. We get to 3rd spot in PL. After decade we play in CL again. We get more money, support and fans thanks to good performances. We win PL, first since 2010. After grear season, we are on top. We are CL trophy main favourites and in 2029 we win it again for the first time after 2012. We have 60% of homegrown players, we are dubbed as next barcelona. In worse we never recover after Roman leaves and we are officialy midtable team again. This isnt fifa to get 10 youth players and develop them in world class in 4 years and win everything.

Yup. We need CL to keep our current players happy. To get money. To attract new players. To gain interest from neutral fans. To give our younger players experience. There are plenty of reasons. Besides regarding your love to youth. Everyone wants (including me) to have as most players from our youth. But dont get delusional. We have plenty of youth players who have Potential to be world class. From Chalobah to Kdb etc. But we also need to look at our PRESENT. Having team of several kids would take CL, PL and trophies overall from us for few years. And what then? Some top players might leave too. Right now we need manager who will fix things up. Perhaps Mou is only who can fix the mess in shortest time. I cant see some unexperienced coach do anything serious regarding our problems. But as to your youth plan goes, there always needs to be balance between top players and young players. Current team lacks world class players and 2 must come in summer urgently. No one saying we should get Falcao, but someone like Cavani and Moutinho are realy necesary. We have two problems regarding new players to come 1.) players on specific positions (ST and DLP) who both should be very good. After all we will defo spend 80mio again thanks to Roman's obsesion and we will probably sell Malouda, Essien, Marin, Torres, Benayoun... 2.) rotation/squad players to add depth who should be taken from youth programs or loans. (Kdb, Josh, Chalobah, Lukaku,...). We wouldnt spend anything on them and eventualy they will be starters if they perform.

How can you say that this is not game to me and charge me that I would buy whole world if I could (but I only want 2!!! new players), while you are saying we should buy Dm to replace Mikel, Cb to replace Luiz, isco to add depth, winger to add width, backup striker, Luke Shaw etc. The one thing we are different is that if I had chance to buy players for chelsea I woul buy two world class players and give squad role to our youth players to add depth, while you would buy 5 cheaper players and put all the pressure on our loanees and those cheper players. Now I wont even discuss this anymore. Lets Chelsea build the team, you will see Mikel stay in first squad until Chalobah will replace him in couple years. Until then Mikel will play good enough. He was great in CL final and start in this season until Rdm was sacked, stop fucking saying anything about his mentality, if he needs anything its motivation of the coach and we all know that Rafa is blind on that area.

I will judge Mikel once we will have complete team. Right now we are fucked up totaly. Bad coach, bad results, bad tactics, bad formations leads to players underperforming. When we were complete team (under Ancelotti, 4:3:3), Mikel was beast. Now we lack striker, we lack DLP, we lack coach. Its not Mikels fault for all that.

So at one point you complain about how team plays and on other you dont want any new players? If you think that Lukaku and Kdb and Chalobah would put us above Manchester clubs in next two years, you wont see it. They are our future but we need top players NOW. Or you can watch the same football we play this season next three seasons until Lukaku, Kdb and Chalobah become class. And by your posts you want this bad play stop as much as I do, but its utophia to thinktl that only loanees will change us into title contenders. We need players. Top players and squad/youth players. Lukaku would be perfect replacement for Torres, Chalobah for Essien and Kdb for Marin. We need top players now to get some chance of playing better football next year. Im not saying we should buy top and sell our youth players. We should buy two players who can fit right into starting team and improve us NOW. Kdb and Lukaku will start as rotation options and if they prove they will be starters. Ultimately its all up to coach.

By what meaning should Mikel be leader or something? We have Hazard, Mata to lead the team. With proper DLP we will have leader in midfield. With good striker we will have leader in attack. Mikel protects defence. Thats all. With Hazard, Oscar, Mata, new DLP and striker we have enough to do things in attack, but when comes to defending Mata, Oscar and probably that striker wont do much in defence. Mikel will stay back and do his job. You cant have 5 playmakers or leaders in team anyway... And Im surprised that you cant trust Mikel who spent here all those years and played lot of games for us, was favourite for Ancelotti or Mourinho, yet you keep mentioning Chalobah or Lukaku like they are Messi already. They NEVER played here constantly, they are 18 and 19 old and you expect imediate impact next season? They are great prospects who will shine through ages 22-30, not next year. And to say that Chalobah is better than Mikel already or that Lukaku will be equaly effective to us like some top striker would be is funny. As for Soton game goes, put some blame to attack too. They havent even score a goal against them (Terry is defender) and that is Mikel's fault too right?

To be honest I have seen some worse defending at set pieces. Check Real for example and their 'brilliant' defending at free kicks/corners. But I dont hear about Ramos being shit... They are team and work together to cover up for mistakes. Our team is team of individuals. Plenty of mistakes for not working as team, having consistency and keep changing the team starting eleven. One game its Lamps-Rambo then Lamps-Mikel then Rambo-Mikel then...play two players in pivot for 90% of games like all teams do. They will get used to each other and perform better.

For fuck sake whole team is doing badly overall. Not just Mikel. There is a thing called TRANSITION going on at our club, we are not fighting for some trophies right now in Pl or Cl, there are many questions about the game we have. We have a shit coach. We have wrong tactics. Lamps and Mikel never fit together in double pivot. Result is they play bad together. Several reasons for Mikel playing bad. He is best at doing his role of DM in 4:3:3 with hard working players. Today game was bad from whole team, not just Mikel. Oscar was lost in game, Marin and Moses were awful. Torres, well...this formation is to play fast possesion football and we had 40% of possession. Is that Mikel's fault? Its his fault as much as Oscars, Lamps or anyone elses. Once we pick a proper formation, get a decent DLP, striker and a coach that has some clue I will judge Mikel. If he will still play bad I will say I was wrong to believe in him, but if he proves he is good (specialy after he reaches age 27/29), at this club or somewhere else you can all go to f*** yourselves for not believing in him. Man I just wish he would play at some other PL team that has no issues like we have and he would rip our team. Then I want see some of your faces.

First half it was 60:40 in possesion for Soton and we are trying to play possesion football? The only two players that can do that are Mata and Hazard. Asul much Oscar is great talent, I dont understand why we.l bought him in first place? Alternative for Modric in DLP? Yeah right... I wont go into pivot debate. Lamps is old and less mobile, Mikel needs someone else along (new Dlp, Rambo,...). Oscar is not a starter i this team. He is too weak to handle things required for his position. Moses wtf? His progress ended since he came from afcon. Marin should leave. Buy DLP ala Moutinho, winger who can cross and add some speed and directness. Buy a striker. Lukakau? He aint gonna push us forward. Its fact. He isnt better than Ba and we know how Ba is doing.
