Every time when United won title, there were other players more important than Rooney. Ronaldo, Berbatov and recently Rvp. When Rooney scored shit load of goals, last and 2009/10 season, united wasnt champion. He still had impact in game though, but wasnt the very main key. Food for thought.

The fact that Roma signed Strootman is irrelevant with De Rossi considering their type. While kevin is CM, DDR is DM. However, DeRossi played at Roma as LCM/RCM just ahead of DM (Bradley) in 4:3:3 aswell, so it makes sense.

I think we will only play 4:3:3 without Mata and this wont be this year. He is our best player but also our weakest part due to his un-verstility. I agree our team suits 4:3:3 better, but that team has no Mata. Or atleast he will not be as good as he is now. Main problem with him is that his game is shit against pressing opposition (Barca, Bayern, Brasil, City,...). Appart from his pass/cross for a goal, he was realy weak vs barca and bayern last CL. He is great in PL (bar City) though.

Not realy. If we create good team work and make our young players top players once (Lukaku, Kdb, Chalobah, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle,...), others will fear us. Maybe not next season or two, but then we will be realy top team in the world with great environment under Mou.If we get Ddr and Rooney/Ibra then we will be very strong in this comming season already.

If Rooney leaves, united will be in trouble I think. They didnt have realy top players for last few years except Rvp and Rooney, but Saf created realy strong team work and motivtion. Now with him gone, Evra, Vidic, Carrick, Nani are past it, Rvp is getting older, Rooney unhappy and young players ala Kagawa, Cleverley, Jones, Welbeck,...not becoming any better...its time for us to lead PL in next years, but City is getting strong too (thankfuly Yaya is 30yo already). Besides, Porto is already making next 40mio players. Iturbe, Quintero, Alex Sandro, Danilo, Martinez, Kelvin, Reyes, Herrera, Mangala,...they just never end with their brilliant scouting

Bayern realy fucked up with Pep I think...he is buying unnecessary players (thiago), changing system 4:1:4:1 and playing tiki taka against Brescia...fans got upset already and players disagreeing with Pep tactics. I highly doubt that Bayern under pep will be better than Bayern under Heynckess. That was maschine and now we will see some boring football ala Barca...if Bayern will get better it will be because of Gotze and other players, not because of Pep. Im sure of that. Also I could see we hammer them in super cup if we get proper players. We have great spirit in team under Mou and Pep on other hand is changing Bayern into barca 2.0 (when tiki taka is becoming shit). I realy feel sorry for true Bayern fans, Pep could well fuck up their possibly best team ever...

He scored loads of goals wherever he played. With his signature, he basicaly ensures goals galore to that club. He aint a gamble like Torres or even Rooney. His mind doesnt care about others opinions. He can score from anywhere and makes team beter. Whoever from PL top club would get him it would have same impact as Rvp signing.

REal, bayern, spain, germany, manc, manu etc all play with double pivot. What is the problem there? Barca plays 4:3:3 and are defensive liability. For a system 4:3:3 we would need 11 players that can play organised in defense and be quick on counter attacks and say goodbye to Mata and Luiz.

City is now interested...given the options we have between Ibra/Rooney/Jovetic, we should sign Ibra.

Couple of years ago it was expensive to pay 40mio for world class players, nowdays young prospects are even more expensive... But overal its good thing. Small clubs get lot of money and big clubs invest in young players and develop them. Either you pay 30mio for Alonso who will be on top for 4 years (when Real bought him) and once he is too old, you have to pay another 30 for new player or you just pay 40 for a player that will play for club for next 8-10 years.

Just get Ibra if we want top striker or go with Jovetic...I realy hope that club tells us about transfer plans...Juve's Conte said specificaly they are looking to sign striker and Ogbonna (they got both now), while we keep everything so misterious that kills me. All these BS rumours that Chelsea might not ever been connected to them in reality...
