If that is true, than just lol. Two finest strikers to play in ligue 1 now? Meh, where are good old strikers with will to prove that made them even better?
-
Wait a year or two and he will be worth 30mio+ I have feeling he will be big sucess in Dortmund.
-
In the end Roma wont let him for less than 30mio Besides, Candreva would be realy realy good bench player for us, realy class player and had great tournamemt at Confed cup.

My point was why buy other players when we could use our own? Barca had Thiago but instead bought Cesc. Spent lot of money and now it seems they will lose one of the best if not the best la massia product of last few years. Just an odd example, but back then Thiago didnt seem to be good enough, now he is. Perhaps Rlc and Chalobah arent good enough now, but will be in two years. Lets say we buy Kondogbia and we play Ginkel as main CM for next 10 years. Where will Chalobah and Rlc play? You know you CAN develop own players in club not sending them on loans. Think of 19 years old Ronaldo at ManU. Was he too young? Should he be sent on loan, who knows what would happen to him. As far as I know we dont have good DM. Why not give chance to Chalobah who would exchange with Romeu, Mikel? What if he becomes world class DM but it would sacrifice one season for Chelsea sucess? Would you take it or send him on loan for few years and buy some top DM/Kondogbia instead? Same goes for the rest of our players.
-
So where exactly will Chalobah and Rlc play at age 20-21 when Ginkel and rest will be even more experienced? Where will they get experience? On loans to be forgotten? Because they wont get much play time. We should sign someone like De Rossi and rotate him with Rambo, Lamps, Romeu,..while Rlc and Chalobah would get chances in Fa and Carling. Besides point of transition seasons is that you give chance to young players, not win games and titles. If Chalobah or Rlc would get 20 games next season, we might finish 4th with zero trophies, but Rlc and Chalobah would get more experience. Point of transition season, I guess many here expect youth to just pop in the team and we will still play top football all the time...

This will happen only with permament coach and sane board. If we want team for future with healthy relations, we need to make Mourinho our coach for next 5 years, NO MATTER WHAT. Now ask yourself; Is Roman going to do that? I hope he will and all our young players including Kdb, Mazacar, Ginkel, Romeu,...and homegrown like Chalobah, Rlc,...will make our team world beaters in couple of years, but I fear we are overloaded at some positions. I support the project and will support club decisions no matter what, but in the end, it could work or not. Its not guaranteed. And we dont realy have the experience to put young players in first team (Oscar or Azpi were quite known when we signed them, difference will be with Chalobah or Rlc). Last thing is this: WHY WE ALWAYS BUY? WE HAVE RLC OR CHALOBAH WHO ARE BOTH YOUNG PROSPECTS. WHY SIGN KONDOGBIA OR GINKEL THEN? WHY NOT GIVE THAT ROLE TO OUR PLAYERS INSTEAD OF LOAN THEM? THAT WILL MAKE US GREAT TEAM, HAVING OUR OWN WORLD CLASS PLAYERS WHO WERE RAISED AT COBHAM. NOT JUST BUY, BUY, BUY OTHER TALENTS.

Recently, porto and benfica fucked up quite a few players with their high price demands. Hulk, Witsel, Moutinho and James to name few. ITs true that Portugal makes top players but once they get on top, your clubs put ridiculous prices for them and no one wants to buy them but some crazy russians or Monaco...if those players mentioned before wouldbe available for reasonble prices, all of them would play in top leagues. What we have now? James and Moutinho in Monaco, Witsel and Hulk in Zenit. Because portugal clubs sell to best dealer no matter what. And finaly, Di Maria last year was world class, what are you on about? While Coentrao only puts great performances for country (in WC, euros) and 2/10 games for club. Portugal makes good players but they put ridiculous prices nowdays...its better to leave when you still have chance to join top club for reasonable price than to evolve in portugal, get 40mio clause and eventualy get shipped to Russia in the end...

Isnt Thorgan 20 years old and was 19 when he signed???
-
Not too happy with this signing, looks similar to Kdb, but not as good. Some will say that Kevin isnt CM, but he played there for Genk and je plays in midfield in 4:3:3 for Belgium. Way too similar players because both will never get in starting eleven with Mazacar and others like Chalobah, Loftus, Romeu,... Besides I kind of dislike all these transitional seasons, our team might be younger but in all these years, we dont even have the formation and at least half of the first 11. Soo many buys but no one knows what for realy. Oscar was brought as CM as Modric replacement, look is he playing there? Kdb was brought for what? CM, wing? Now we get another CM; Ginkel. Great! Its cool with all the talent etc, but this isnt Fifa or we want to fake Arsenal, I dont know...should sign experienced players that will be replaced with these youngsters eventualy...

Double post sorry.

Hm, this guy would become world class at Porto, but no one would buy the wanted price of 50-60 mio for him and he would stay there until age 26 or move to Monaco/Zenit... Not good.

Get. That. Beast. Now.

In couple of years, price could go up to 20mio+... Besides, I think that if young portugal prospects want to become top players, they must leave at young age to a good club with good manager and lot of playing time. For Ronaldo, being coached by Saf and play regular (at age 19 in first season at ManU he already had around 25 games in PL, lot of gained experience). On other hand, if player stays too long (like hulk who had tons of potential), he never fulfils potential. League isnt that competitive and coaches/staff cant fulfill their potential unlike Saf who did with ronaldo. Getting Bruma would be good only if he gets at least 25 games next season and lot of trust from Mou. After all, Mou is portugese and would understand with Bruma excelently

Price wise, Rooney would be better option. Cavani is in form and generaly better finisher. Both track back and provide strenght. We dont have regular crossers, so Cavani height isnt that advantage (except for Corners). Rooney is english and we lack them in the team. Mourinho, Cole, Cech,...like Rooney so he could get with our fans aswell, its not an enemy of our team. Also Rooney can play in every position in attack, maybe even in midfield. I have feeling that Rooney's top level career will be longer, he could play in his 30's and still deliver a lot. Conclusion: price tells we should get Rooney, cuz Cavani isnt 28mio better player than Rooney. But in the end, whoever we get, I would be equaly happy if we get other players too (DM). Both are top strikers and would work here very well.

Who is 3rd worldwide?
-
I quite like that formation, it looks solid in defence with 3 cbs and De Rossi (however I would prefer more mobile dm like Vidal or Witsel if there would already be 3 CBs). Attackers like Mata and Hazard are quite shit defensively, but with working striker ala Cavani, it could work. One last thing is that such formation would work only if both wing backs (Cole and Azpi) could run up and down whole game effectively with pacy defending and crossing. Think of Alba or Alves here. Azpi isnt as fast and Cole is not able to run like mad anymore...and both have only decent crossing.
-
We should then sell Azpi and sign Arbeloa while you compare such nonsense...
-
Belhanda officialy to Kiev. Another talent wasted...
-
He looks like Barca type of signing...

Where are times when there were world class strikers in world class teams? Henry, Ronaldo, RvN, Eto'o, Drogba,... Now we have bunch of wannabes who are one season wonders or play for smaller clubs. Falcao is absolutely perfect example. Considered best striker in world plays for Monaco now. Cavani is grear striker but hey, he had two top seasons at napoli. Is he worth 60mio? Fuck no. Ibra cost barca 70mio and it never worked out. Should Cavani play last two seasons for Arsenal and score goals for fun and we come with offer of 60mio; that would make sense. But 60mio for Napoli striker? Has world gone mad? He isnt young, he doesnt have the potential to be special ala Hazard or Neymar. He is striker who scored loads of goals in Serie A where 35 years old Di Natale scored 21 goals. We might just bid 30mio for Di Natale then. Fantastic striker but not worth 60mio. Last summer he was like 25-30.

There are rumours from Marca that Kondogbia IS next player that will join Real. And few weeks ago, eal board said they are talking with young french player to join them. Media thought of Pogba and Niang, but it was actualy Kondogbia. He is probably off to RM, Zidane will have huge word in that. He isnt expensive, played in spain and Real needs powerful DM. Would love him here, but very very unlikely.

I just read about brasil Adriano having huge crysis again as his former agent said that Adriano is suffering from big depression and could even commit suicide :( What a player he was in best years, perfect striker, biggest talent wasted...sad to see such moments in football.

Chelsea is monitoring 18yrs old "next Ronaldo", portugal u20 star Bruma. He scored 5 goals in 3 games so far, plays on the wing. UNited and City imterested too...the guy is good and will be good to see him in future.
