Great game, I liked first half more because Mou pulled us back a little in the second half. Defending was still questionable at times but I loved how everyone battled so hard. A victory vs Lpool is especialy sweet and Hazard, woah, finaly he started to shoot and dribble on regular basis, cant wait to see more of him next year

I didnt want to look impatient, but just pointing out that the transition is taking some time already and we spend soo much money, but still we are way back than where we should be. For instance, we splashed around 60mio eur for basicaly squad players this summer. I think Willian is good enough to start for top team, but not here. He isnt natural RW and we need that more than we need another AM mould. It is normal that transition period is taking quite some time, m I only wanted to hit at board for not bringing exact players we required in past few years. There were deals that didnt realy suceeded, at least not yet (Luiz, Torres) and then there were deals that were completely unnecessary (Schurrle and Willian for 60mio).

This is our best scouting potential, yet we would sell him because of 32 years old Cech? Fuck me what is the point of getting all these young players if we sell those who are not good enough and even those who are? I think this is BS rumour, but Im sure Courtois will be very tempted by barca and the other way around. Cant afford to lose him, BUT if we do sell him, he is worth at least 40m. At least. I dont regret signing Torres as much I regret we missed on Aguero. Absolutely wonderful player, young and would fit this team perfectly. Anyway, we have Lukaku but I feel we need a leader in attack, somene who has enough experience and skill to win a match when the rest cant do it. Costa is good striker, but I have doubts abouth him; character, new league and how much can he improve his game? Im afraid there are not many other options...and he is still best one.

I was wondering how long will transition period last? We are not realy doing any progress since 2009/10 season and it looks that major team changes are yet to come. Drogba era is over, but remains of it in Lamps,Terry, Cole,... are still there. Mou said that second season is always best, but I doubt it will be the same case here next year. There are several players leaving or should leave, which means several players will have to come in. And teams always need TIME to gel together. Players that will probably leave in max 2 years: Lamps, Essien, Cole, Ba, Etoo, Kdb, Moses, Terry, Torres, Mikel Players that could leave aswell: Cech (because of Courtois), Mata/Oscar, Luiz, Bertrand With all those players who might leave due to their age or lack of play time, we will need to buy dozen of new players to keep squad depth and obviously strong first eleven. My point is that we will face big team change with most older leaders leaving and we have no new established ones here. I very much doubt we can afford to spend on 5 world class players in january and next summer. That means we will have very uncomplete team for next season and possibly season after aswell. This could be chance for youth players to step up. Most important is that we make team plan. Dont just buy players because you can (Schurrle, Willian, Etoo,...) but because they fit EXACTLY to the team formation. If we need CM or RW sing fucking CM or RW and not another CAM or LW who never played on right side in career...

Reus on one and Hazard on other wing would be absolutely world class.

I dont know why the fuss about if he was our player or not...he would never develop here to this level and would be loaned to Vitesse forever... When we sold him, he was worth 2mio. He is now much better player and worth more. He is good player and be happy that he still wants to join us despite we thrown him away like trash for Luiz. Yes we didnt trust him like we didnt believe in Danny and many others...when will people realise Chelsea isnt good place to develop talents? It never was and under Mou and club policy to get instant sucess, it will take some time before we will see some youth/bought talented player reach starting eleven. Kdb, Kalas, Moses are recent examples.

Falcao was nothing special in 2013. All he does is scoring goals and he is not even in top 10 strikers who scored most goals in 2013.

He has very good playmaking abilities, whenever I watched him, he was amazing with commanding Everton's attack. Something Mata, Oscar, Willian seem to struggle. He plays for the team, organizing attacks in very effective way. But the main reason I like him is because he is english. Not many good english talent out there and we will lack some english quality as soon as Lamps, Cole and Terry retire. My long term wish is that Caulker, Shaw and Barkley replace our legends, but that is a very long shot and will hardly come true due to all players we already have.

Musacchio of Villareal is also having superb season so far. Barca, City are already interested. Due to his small height, I dont know how would he do it in PL, but he is beast in la liga.

According to some reports, he is the player who covered more ground than any other in CL this season. If that is correct, he has some great engine for PL.

What is the chance of Matic coming? Is the reported price of 40m true or not? I doubt we would be linked with him if he was realy that expensive, no way we will pay 40m for him in january. But he would fit better than Guarin. He is amazing in benfica, question is how good will he be here?

I think form from previous games matters little in big derbies. Its all about daily form and desire, nerves, little mistakes, execution and luck. Its 50:50, but since we often win vs Arsenal, I put more chance for us. Still, players will have to give lot of effort and be killer in penalty box. Up Blues!
