Naturlich, you are correct my friend. We shall see how this fella does in PL and hopefuly, he shall do well.

The opponent is strong. Their defense proven to be hard to break this season. They have good run of form, so that team should not be underestimated, or our men will face bitter end. Their attack is efficient. One mistake and we will get punished for. But most of all, their coach will do everything in his power to silence the Stamford Bridge. To stop our winning run. To prove a point. I present you the Pulis test. Yes, yes another big, nasty, test against coach some say its destined to cause us trouble. But beware, under Conte we gathered strong army that does underestimate no enemy. We will throw everything at them. We will show WBA the blue hell at SB. Mr. Pulis, we will give you a test bigger than your forehead. Who will come on top? Pulis with a clever trick, or will Conte come on top with elegant, but fighting spirit? Find out next week in yet another test of Chelsea season. Seriously, next few weeks when we will face many teams, when we will have less time to rest, when players will play against smaller, but sneaky teams, when players will start thinking about what Santa will bring them for Christmas, it will be our biggest test of the season so far. Come on, lets test ourselves with another test that will test all our abilities that no other test so far could test. And let us be victorious after all these tests, so that the tests will no longer be tests for us, but for our opponents.

I would not put Azpi out, so no way we should play with two shorter CBs and Luiz. Besides, why this ball control and passing ranks CBs top again? FFS we all see how Stones is doing. I admit, CB needs to know how to pass the ball, but doesnt have to be Xavi at it. We have Luiz who is fantastic passer, Azpi is not bad for CB either in possesion. I still dont see Christensen fit this team anyhow. I might sound like Mourinho, but if he was taller and stronger, he would fit in well, but currently not. We have Luiz as passing CB. Christensen for all the passing and ball control he has, he is not top defender, yet. He gets exposed, and what I like about CB in PL is to be strong, so he can control opponents. Something Vidic, Rio, Terry could do. Christensen would get bullied against any bigger striker and corners. And since we already have Azpi, we need to to find taller CB. In bigger picture, taller CB can defend corners better and also pose bigger threat to score header from corner. Conte style will definately rely on set piece danger, and right now only Cahil and Luiz can score from such. Take Cahil away, we dont have anyone else. So yeah, I would prefer if Zouma gets back to best and fills Cahill place rather bring Christensen to add style to back four, but expose us big time. Some sound like Guardiolas on this thread, Christensen is good, but he would be same like Stones. And good player or not, I prefer strong, safe CB over Stones everyday. We play in PL under Conte, and for first time, we brought glimpses of that 2005-2009 team that had lot of power and directness in them. So bring players that suit that. Moses instead of Oscar and you saw what some power can add over that flair and tricks. I rate Christensen as he is our product, young and promising, but he is simply not my type of CB. You can talk that such CBs are future of football, but take a look at City, thats prime example why they are not. CB needs to be powerful presence first and stylish later. Pique, Puyol, Boateng all know how to control ball and pass, but they are all powerful. Christensen and on top of that in PL? I think he is perfect for spain tho. Perhaps if we didnt have Luiz, but considering he is doing very well, there is no chance Christensen will replace him.

Its not all black and white. If city couldnt, Wba couldnt either etc. You can lose to a much lesser opponent if you are underestimating them. On another night, we could concede 5 goals because of Cesc, Alonso and Cahill poor connection. If Matic is well, I would play him because it gives us stability and we have linked well in past games without Cesc. We created lot of chances, but sometimes our attackers failed to realize them. Perhaps instead of playmaker, we would need another clinical finisher, but we dont have one atm. I would stick with Matic if he is ready, and bring Cesc soon as second half, if we lack creativity. City game, until equalizer, we did very poorly in defense, so I would not risk that again. Considering we can control game against Wba much better than city one, our attack should be fine without Cesc. I also feel Kante operate better next to Matic, because he can play more freely.

I dont doubt Payet qualites at all and even his age is not a problem, but perhaps he and Eden are too similar. Both are more of playmakers, dribblers rather than goalscorers. If Payet is available for decent money ok, but perhaps we should look for RW player that can also score on regular basis (like prime Pedro).

Charities are always like this. You throw lets say 10k yourself, 10k through partners/sponsors, you get 100k back as charity money, you split 50k back to partners, you take 10k (or more) back. Generaly one can say "charity" gets 40k, much better than nothing, but usualy that sum is less than half of total money. Its just a fancy way of making easy money and look cool. Charities in most cases are frauds, because rich people make even more money through them. Dont think for second that partners/sponsors/persons make charities for free. Besides all the charity money they take back, they usualy get alot of advertisement, which makes them even more money eventualy. We had a case here for children, people were giving old phones to be recycled and money given to children to fund holidays. There was alliance (dont know the right word, but some sort of county club) that started this "charity" and advertised through sponsors (which were some of famous companies from my country). Anyway it turned out that money collected from charity, more than half of it went back to sponsors, that alliance took more than they spent for organisation too. Rest, which was less than 30% was given for children's holidays. Now some kids still went to holidays, but you can see the point. Charities are benefiting for both sides, but that "all the money will go to children" is biggest lie there is. Same is with unicef etc. Sure they give money to poor, but alot less than what they recieve. Sure they need to spend some for continious funding of company to operate, but you will always find rich people who get even richer by these charity false advertisements. One might argue that charity people are the kindest, but usualy they are biggest cunts you can meet (not pointing at Drogba, since he did alot for Africa, but just saying generaly, obviously there are exceptions). But its all peoples fault. They get convinced too quick. Just becsuse you see it on tv, doesnt mean its true.

Payet would be definately a nice option in january. Considering how west ham is doing, he might want to leave soon. I can see Payet do very nicely here since he adjusted to league, and would be interesting combo with Hazard as they both played in lille before. But unless its something that Conte realy wants, Im so far more than happy with Pedro and Willian and then improve in summer.
-
They realy need a new playmaker yes. But to think they can replace those players its impossible. They may remain world class team and bring stars, but IMO they will become same as Real or Bayern and everyone else. Great season, then off one and great again etc. No more dominance. Which is great for football. That said, their transfers were ridiculous. You dont replace Bravo with Cilessen, Alves with Sergi and Iniesta with Gomes. They had golden generation, same like United and now the honeymoon is over.

He is the last guy to complain about that haha. Besides the difference when his team goes 1:0 he closes, when Conte does, we keep playing. Sure you change that for last 10 mins or so, but Mou is doing it for whole games regardless of opponent. I just saw a short documentary of him, it reminded me how amazing he was once, 8 years unbeaten at home, and how far he has fallen now. As for his character I kinda understand him. Few can be great leaders and great characters at same time. When you are winning all and suddenly not, its hard to adjust. Some do, some dont.

Karma is a bitch isnt it.
-
Trump president, Leicester champions, Costa without card for 8 games in a row...what a year. If we were crazy enough we could all be millionares.
-
Probably Pedro because we will need those runs in empty space. WBA is on good form and we must not underestimate them. It worked for us 7 games, Pedro did his job very well every game bar City, so I would not drop him just yet. I dont think Conte will either. It would also create pressure if someone was dropped just after one poor half, so there's that. But if Pedro wont perform, I would switch to Willian at half time and see how he does. I was far from impressed with him against Spurs last week, but if he turns up like against City, then I would definately consider him to start games soon.
-
I remember when we signed him and I read his life story. Very touching and Im super happy he is now finally getting the time on pitch. He may not be world class player, but he oozes class with his attitude and character. Someone who will fight for team till final whistle. Its a rarity having such player these days and people should realy appreciate more that skill on ball is not everything, but spirit and soul to play for club. Very happy he finaly got the chance.
-
Not good example this behaviour, but I love he put Aguero in his place. Proper Chels.
-
Haha seriously?
-
He turns up sometimes and he is outstanding...then sometimes he is waay below the level. Thank god today he was at his best and he was amazing.
-
He scored own goal because he knew our players will turn up after. What a lad. Be positive guys, today is a great day.
-
I pray he is ok It was dick challenge from Aguero and I dont have good feeling. His knee got caught up very badly. Hopefuly nothing serious
-
Yes yes yes Great game we realy did them in second half. I would be happy with draw but Im more than happy we beat those cunts after what they have shown in late stages. Aguero is a cunt and so is Fernandinho. COME ON CHELSEA
-
I wish I was wrong... Anyway, we can still turn it around IMO if we put all the fight we have. Alonso let everything pass him, hopefuly he improves in second half.
-
Judging by the kits, it looks like Cesc will start the game. I have bad feeling about this. I dont want to be pessimist, but with him in lineup, we have very slim chances of winning the game. They will be all over our midfield. Anyway come on chelsea, make us proud
-
Courtois looks like that kid from primary school who pulls all kind of shit tricks but pretends to be innocent.
-
Gonna be great game IMO. I think it will be difficult, but we have chances to win. City is vulnerable in defence and hopefuly we dont park the bus because they will be all over us then. Press them and we can win. I would take a draw tho.
-
We will see how he develops. I think he could be absolutely brilliant sub if we need to get back in the game. He is a direct and not afraid to try things. Also very quick and decently strong which is great against tired defences.
-
I think Moses and Pedro are realy good and useful, but when you look at Oscar and Willian, Moses and Pedro look like world class players. I dont know whats with these two brazians, but I dont see them anywhere near team if they continue like that. I understand they had family issues, but honestly, the problems were present last year too. Today Willian atempted through pass and failed, then held his head and stopped running for 5 seconds, while Spurs countered. And considering he was on pitch few minutes, he should track back, but he just stood there. I understand he misses alot, but that was unacceptable. The more Iva, Oscar and Willian play, the more I see why we struggled so much. And tbh, Willian was still much better before, but still not on the level you want.
