  1. Forbes' article on ManUre's IPO revisions http://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/2012/07/31/manchester-united-ipo-revised-to-make-glazer-family-wealthier/ Mmm don't you just love the smell of American-brand Coporatism
  2. Sexy free kick just now, keeper made a fantastic save. He's got quite a good shooting foot on him
  3. For the pronunciation battle: http://translate.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wT#auto/es/azpilicueta Hit the speaker icon in the bottom right
  4. Couldn't have said it better. Also...kinda disappointed that Hazard didn't have more of an 'impact sub' type on influence. He has had much more of an effect on the game when he starts and can control the pace of our attacke
  5. Fair 'nuff. I misunderstood the intent behind your statement I guess. For what it's worth, are you honestly disappointed at tonight's result?
  6. by-the-fuckin-way...I think its clear we did not win on purely "long ball and ultra defense." We won by playing with fuckin heart and soul and scoring when we needed to. We scored 5 total goals against Napoli, 3 against Barca, and we beat a German team at home on pens. Take it easy on trying to discount our CL title.
  7. They scored the first goal on a lucky bounce and the winning goal on an even luckier deflection. FFS the ref denied us two clear pens...at least we outscored them on well-earned, well-played build up goals. It's just preseason...fuck it. We are still champions of europe.
  8. Prince Harry has been positively disappointing
  9. Lucky bounce...whatever. But seriously, where is Hazard
  10. dafuq is this? Ferreira is a donkey, Kakuta sucks, Hutchinson is so weak down the right
  11. Cahill...so composed. What a gem of a defender
  12. Chelsea in blue home kit, PSG in a beaut of a red kit.
  13. Where the fuck is McEachran in that lineup
  14. Oscar was at the helm of the Brazil attack, definitely evident once he got subbed off they had little shape/organisation when they went forward. His crosses and passes were pure class, he has certainly earned his place as their #10. Kind of a pit that the two goals were a bit weak (Sandro had a lucky chip, Neymar converted a penalty after a complete and utter dive )
  15. You're joking right? You mean the guy who fluffed every decent chance he got? ...except for the penalty which was the result of a world. class. dive.
  16. I think the restructuring of the FA's U21 league system is facilitating the need for all of these transfers of youth players. The CFC website had a feature on it a couple weeks back and it sounds fantastic. The strengthening of our squad depth means that we can invest a lot more time and resources on our youth in their own environment instead of rushing them into first team action. That being said, my first reaction to this transfer was one of confusion and general dislike. But since he is so young and his talent is so raw, I am comfortable knowing that he can play alongside the likes of Piazon, Bamford, Chalobah, Feruz, Kane, etc.
  17. If he had to go on loan, I'd love to see him go to a mid/upper table side that looks young and fresh. A team like Brighton, maybe. Otherwise, the Championship is plagued with archaic 4-4-2 tactics. Tbh, Swansea looked the perfect fit but their midfield had no space for a young player to rotate in.
  18. Besides his lazy give-away, Josh had two beautiful long pass assists. I'd love to see him get first-team time alongside Mikel/Lamps in the deeper midfield positions
  19. First half impression: Lukaku looks composed. Marin and Hazard look like they mean business in the midfield. Josh and Mikel are in desperate need of some practice, but both have shown glimpses of promise in running the midfield. Chalobah looks a huge talent at only 17. Benayoun can fuck off back to arse and Ferreira needs to think about finding a new day job
  20. Right footed, plays on the left. The inside cut he makes his deadly and he has disgustingly pace
