  1. Been watching the CTV's feature on Cahill. It's easy to forget that we just bought him in January, his transition into his role in the back line has been seamless and he's absolutely a world class CB.
  2. Grant Holt was the second highest scoring Englishman in the Prem? What more can you fucking do to get a call-up? Stewart Downing didn't play one good ball all fucking season and got in. fuck me
  3. Exactly. He has no unique/individual skill or ability except positioning
  4. Lukaku assisted Terry's goal...made numerous chances with skills/creative play on the wings...honest chances at goal, mostly unlucky not to score one or two of em
  5. I wanted City to win...Man U would've won on the couple of wins that Ashley Young's penalties
  6. Sturridge misses a sitter... dangerous cross from Lukaku though
  7. Couldn't ask for much more from RDM as far as tactical balance with youngsters and first-teamers. Exciting game today, lads
  8. Very similar...biggest difference (what I've concluded, personally) is that Spanish words are pronounced exactly how they are written and French words are pronounced nothing like they are written.
  9. I agree that there are probably better options out there...but a I'll take a pacy, English winger with ball and finishing skills any day (for what seems to be his relative value)
  10. After the Liverpool result, why not? A one-off game for a select couple of youngsters surely won't upset their development (as some have suggested). Fitness for the UC final is the top priority anyway, right?
  11. Once upon a time in high school I might have been in a band that was called Former Russian Spies. Used it as my PSN and has been my unofficial username for logins/forums ever since
  12. I can't help but praise the service Torres got today. Each of his goals was a class finish on equally commendable build-up play. Excited to see what this could mean next year if we bring in some more playmakers/wingers (i.e. Marin)
  13. 12 in Chelsea career. 11 This season: 6 in PL, 2 in FA Cup, 3 in CL
  14. Excited to see him play in the Euros (if he is included in the squad)...big games, big pressure etc. Seems to me, as many have already said, that he is certainly in the same vein of players as Mata. Would love to see Mata and Marin as attacking midfielders with Sturridge in the center up front!
