I just don't see De Bruyne fitting into Chelsea's first team... At LW/LAM...we have Hazard, Schurrle, Willian At CAM...we have Oscar, Mata At RW/RAM...we have Schurrle, Mata, Willian Unless De Bruyne can be moulded into a CM..I don't see him getting game time.

The winning formula shouldn't be affected if Mikel plays instead of Lampard..because the rest of the team is starting to settle down.

Would of given Schurrle the vote...but he was playing against an incompetent fullback. And his finishing is still below-par.

If we had the Torres and Eto'o of 2008/2009...now that would be a nice strikeforce....but both of them are past-it..possibly on the decline.

Depends on the players mindset. If your a motivated individual who wants to keep improving, you will prove to the coach that you can follow his instructions and as a result, reclaim your first team spot. However, if you think you're too good and can't understand why the coach won't play you...you can always ask for a transfer away from the club. I'm just saying that good players don't want to sit on the bench...thats why they're generally more motivated to prove a point to the coach and claim a spot in the starting XI.

I think Jose's mistake was starting Lampard - Mikel in such a high-intensity game. As for benching Mata..it seems to have motivated him to become a better all-round player. Maybe Jose should bench Hazard for a game or two, just to let him know that he's not untouchable.
