  1. Mourinho slowly stamping his authority again. Looks like both Lukaku and de Bruyne are both staying at the club. Excellent depth Hulk will only be a luxury now
  2. Performance Mode? Did we sign Cavani or something?
  3. @Rmpr, Something wrong? I agree. If Mou really wants Cavani for this money, I think he's thinking of balancing it with a cheaper midfielder
  4. Boy, you're really holding out on Mikel to Galatasaray aren't you?
  5. Congrats mate. But on the flip-side, WHS with an ego boost
  6. Pleasantly surprised that this is gathering pace now. Which player(s) would you put in the Cavani deal? I'd go with Essien, Torres, & Courtois on loan - he's going anyway, might as well sweeten this deal in the process
  7. twitter is blowing everything out of proportion isn't it? Long gone are the days when transfer rumours meant looking at the BBC or Guardian gossip column once a day
  8. Finally, after Crespo, Kezman, Shevchencko, Torres we may get to sing this "He scores when he wants, he scores when he waaants, Edinson Cavani! He scores when he wants"
  9. Daniele de Rossi - deeper, cheaper, better
  10. There are many sources linking strikers to Napoli. Torres is just one of them and definitely, Laurentiis will not have him top of the list. Gomez has been heavily linked at around 15mil. we've had this discussion already... You will say Torres to Napoli is feasible. I will come up with different ways it is not and then we will leave it. Few days later, I quote a random post of yours on this thread and we rinse and repeat. You can say that Torres to Napoli is nothing absurd but no need to call it nonsense etc when I don't agree with your opinion. Torres is surely not better than Dzeko or Gomez and Laurentiis definitely knows that. I will be happy if this deal does go through and it does make sense for all parties but only if Napoli are short of options. Big IF given that Dzeko, Gomez are all possible moves
  11. You know where I stand on this. Aggressive posts unnecessary. Laurentiis has rejected Torres+Cash offer. He wants straight cash or other players. Many sources allude to this. Yes, we can increase cash and give Torres as well but there have been clear signals from Napoli that they are pursuing other strikers - Mario Gomez, Edin Dzeko, Mauro Icardi etc. So it's not just about Torres being able to handle Serie A which he should really but it's also about the strike-options that Napoli have other than Torres.
  12. no. Benitez may accept but de Laurentiis is not an idiot Is Ramires absolutely needed in the squad though?
  13. He also missed a penalty in the FA Cup final against CFC. One plus point
  14. yeah. mostly people WANT this to go through Not sure whether it's likely to happen
  15. yeah. you posted on here that he was HG i think but yeah, there is that problem of cech, courtois i think there are a few good ones among the relegated teams. Alex McCarthy. He's young. good enough shot-stopper. not really well rounded but he can improve here
  16. His actual words "If I said there was not anything in it, I would be lying. But that is not for now. I am 100 per cent focused on the national team at the moment.I came to wear this [brazil] shirt with pride. My family and my friends are following me. I hope to win the Confederations Cup." - Calm down people
  17. Yes. Mata, Hazard can improve. But our crossing is actually good. Just that there's no targets in the box. Mata doesn't know the basic idea of heading i.e keep eye contact with the ball and connect with the header.
  18. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Chelsea/Chelsea-change-kits.html great site with a record of all of Chelsea's kits from 1905-now. As already posted, this away kit resembles the 61-62 away shirt
  19. Nope. It's all about having players with aerial ability. Ba is just one player and the opposition defenders can mark him out very easily when there are a scarce few others who can challenge in the air.. Our crossing is actually good - Cole, Azpi, Oscar, Mata, Hazard are all able crossers and more often than not the crosses fall into a general area in the box but but there are no men attacking it in the box. Demba Ba is one, who else? You can make an argument for Ramires but there's no one else And, Aguero - Silva can score headers is just a childish argument. X and Y can do it is not a argument that A and B should also do it. Aguero is a striker and Silva is not good in the air. He has scored free-headers and he can head the ball but that doesn't necessarily mean he's good in the air
  20. Looks good with the socks and everything but I kinda wished that the red line wouldn't be there
  21. I hope that red in the middle is not there. that would make this an awesome away kit
