  1. Doesn't look like it, does it? The word out of the club was this is a take it or leave it offer before the June 10 deadline. Looking forward to another year of "Sanchez FFS" posts in every Chelsea game thread
  2. For once fixtures have been kind First tough game in October
  3. Still think there’s a chance Villa sell Rogers if we dangle Nico Jackson who has worked with Emery before
  4. Agree with Gordon - Tuchel wanted him and the forum was up in arms about signing him but many wanted Rogers to be the Villa player included in the Maatsen deal.
  5. Attacking signings other than Palmer - Felix, Neto, Sancho, Deivid, Nkunku, Jackson, Sterling, Auba, Carney, Noni, Mudryk Yeah, I don't see enough good signings in there.
  6. Instead of going big for Gittens, I wouldn’t mind a punt on Semenyo. Seems like a real workhorse
  7. Would rather give him the Nwaneri treatment and have him be in the squad, rotate the main RW for a few games
  8. Feeling lot better about the Delap deal looking at the overpriced striker market. Sesko and Ekitike close to 100m, Gyokeres at 85, Osimhen on insane wages.
  9. There's a lot to do in the squad before we consider Noni's position. We need a GK, CB, and LW. I think we can go on with Noni and Estevao at RW unless Newcastle come in with a huge offer.
  10. So many names here were a waste of money, time and effort - Mudryk, Sterling, Felix, Kellyman, Ugo, Deivid This is the track record of a board that regularly briefs reporters that they will not be forced to overpay on a deal 😂
  11. At least the deal for Liam Delap is looking a lot smarter now.
  12. Petrovic's ball-playing was dodgy last time he was here. But you'd think the CWC was ideal to test someone coming out of a good loan. For all they've done right, the board has completely bungled decisions around GKs
  13. Their January signings weren't exactly precise though they've spent a lot of money. Khusanov is struggling and the jury is still out on Marmoush imo. Article says Newcastle are being stalled in the hope Chelsea enters the bidding for Trafford. Another City academy product.
  14. Worth remembering it’s early June and Liam Delap is already signed
  15. Bad idea. We need an upgrade as we will be competing in the Champions League next season. Lot of teams that will be pressing high and lot of games where GK needs to be making split second decisions. Sanchez will be a disaster and despite his good season in Ligue 1, Petrovic for me is not a candidate for first-choice keeper. We need to be in the market
  16. It is still early June. Why are we assuming club will stick with Sanchez as first choice?
  17. Chelsea have communicated that they will pay a maximum of €15m to AC Milan for Maignan. Chelsea see the sale of Christian Pulisic to Milan in 2023 for €20m as part of their reasoning. Pulisic had just 12 months left on his contract, but was six years younger. Pulisic also plays in a position that commands higher fees.
  18. Hard to believe when we have just signed Mamadou Sarr for £12m and have already signed Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo for £62.4m before the summer has even begun.
  19. Makes me believe the Simon Johnson update.
  20. Di Marzio saying the offer is 18m pounds now. This is on the higher side but it is going to be a lot cheaper than going into the market for an alternative on the same level
  21. They've scouted Bettinelli's elite bench riding
  22. Pretty normal negotiation. We have no pressure to sign - have 4 GKs - Sanchez, Jorgensen, Petrovic, Kepa + Penders, Bettinelli etc
  23. Looking like they want to play 3-4-3 that Amorim likes AMs Cunha and Mbeumo behind a striker with Amad as the wing back - which they've done a few times already
  24. Door is open for United to sign Gyokeres. Expecting Ornstein to tweet any moment now they're in for him. Cunha Mbeumo Gyokeres means they might not be relegation candidates after all
