  1. 1 - Big no 2 - Project youngster. Will cost 50m + 3 - Another project 4 - Quoted 100m. No chance even though he's good
  2. Don't get the Madueke hate on here. He's our first choice right winger - he's direct, only behind Doku in take-ons, has consistently improved over two years. We will be weakening the squad by letting him go, especially with no replacement in line.
  3. Not as a rigid third choice but would have the security of two senior wingers because Estevao is an unknown quantity. We will only know during the season how he gets on in England.
  4. Without a replacement, it makes little sense to sell Madueke. Would actually keep him and give Estevao time to adapt to English conditions
  5. I would honestly keep Madueke. He’s a winger who works better for Maresca system and don’t see the need to weaken our first team in that area to get a replacement who’s at best the same level
  6. Signed for 16m. Turning a small profit here
  7. Arsenal going for Eze and Madueke to cover for Odegaard and Saka. But I don't think it is a given that Noni will accept this trade because it is a WC year and there will never be a scenario where game time at Arsenal with Saka, Nwaneri is going to be more than at Chelsea.
  8. He made a massive difference to the attack with his workrate - to the point we were a toothless team for the months he was out injured. Temperament and finishing issues were the letdown but Jackson is a good player and you can see that in many clubs lining up to buy him.
  9. Plan seems to be to sell Jackson and Madueke
  10. Surprised they seem to be going for Gyokeres in the end.
  11. Instantly undermines all the work we put in to make Noni a Premier League regular. I actually think the interest in him is not surprising and we should really keep him for continuity. Works well as a winger in Maresca's system.
  12. Until last week the brief was we will do minimum incomings - GK, CB, LW, ST But every transfer window, do the directors get a high out of getting involved in the market?
  13. Time to make it count - this side of the draw we are on. Benfica Palmeiras and potentially Fluminese/Al Hilal
  14. This Al Hilal side will be tough
  15. Even when returning from a long injury layoff, Rodri just jumps out in this game.
  16. The plan seems to be an XI of wingers
  17. We don't need more AMs. We are well stocked.
  18. Neither will Hincapie be cheap - he has a contract till 2029. No reason for Bayer to sanction a cheap exit. Marquinhos won't leave a CL winning PSG and Murillo looks a tough grab from Forest as well. The market for CBs is not great and we have a lot of CBs to shift - Disasi, Badiashile, Renato Veiga, Anselmino loan. Not expecting activity for a few weeks at CB
  19. Long time left. Still have Petrovic around too
  20. Who would you go for ? Clearlake have got far more midfield, attacking signings right than they have defensive signings. Only Cucurella is a success.
  21. I understand Arsenal’s logic with Ekitike (to an extent our logic with Pedro). The game is going towards a rotating fluid 4-man forward line. PSG in the Champions League and Liverpool in the Premier League both played without a power forward and with four attacking players changing positions.
