Drogba deserves to start against Barcelona but to be fair,I am not sure Torres got even a single touch yesterday.He did get one but that was in the dying moments of the game and the whistle had blown,so to his defense you really can't blame him.

Yes,he did score a brilliant goal but that wasn't his only contribution to the game.His control,passing and dribbling were all top notch and so was his defending.Had he not scored the goal,I still would have appreciated his performance and commitment.Truly a legend and I hope he stays with us next season.

Kalou really impressed me last night.Apart from that horrific shot,he was really good.He defended well also and came back to help his defenders whenever the opportunity came.This season I've seen the worst of him and yesterday I saw the best of him.Just hope he continues to keep up this good form and help us win matches.

yes another good point,its time we sell and then buy.This summer exodus can be regarded as an exception as many are leaving out on a free transfer.It will be acceptable to spend little more than we get for other transfer market but a deficit of more than 20m will be far too much and yet quite a great achievement for us considering we spend 10x what he sell.

Valencia moved from Wigan to Utd,he wasn't really Hazard material and yet he has succeeded at Utd.I know its unfair to take Utd as an example but still shouldn't underrate such players.

I think its clear that we have already established ourselves as a big club and who we buy will certainly not affect our status.The fact that not many clubs are not interested in our players can be a good thing but its also shows that we really haven't developed young players which would make other clubs interested in them for their own future.I am not suggesting that we should change to a seller club but its highly important to know that the attributes of a player doesn't solely depend upon the transfer value. Its time we buy players such as Holliet and others who have already adjusted to the league and who are capable of succeeding at this club.Granted,expensive targets such as Hulk,Cavani etc are some great talents but then again so are the not well known ones Developing our players like Josh,Piazon,Danny etc to world class players will be a better choice than buying high class players directly,who may not always succeed at this club as we have a different football style altogether.

If we do play 4-2-3-1 next season then Ramires will have to play as a defensive midfielder and he's not really effective as one plus I don't want the club to ruin yet another capable midfielder and force him to play as a cdm.Unless the formation changes,I don't see Ramires playing as cm,a role he prefers and plays well in,

A quality none of our current dm have as they all have been forced to play in that position.
