We saw the best of Chelsea under RDM and now we just witnessed their worst.Chelsea never seemed to threaten City and could have lost by a bigger goal margin.Honestly it was a very monotonous display by some players while players like Mikel and Mata did the best they could.Lampard and Bosingwa were just terrible today while the others had a mediocre kind of performance. In simple words, the better side won today.

I have my a level finals in may and I regret not paying attention in class.Have to go for revision classes so that I can understand the fundamentals of the topics.MY laziness has outgunned me once again!

Torres cant complain of managerial support now.He is starting now and he must repay his manager and fans with a good performance.Quite surprised that Raul is playing as a left winger, hopefully he will help Torres although I feel Kalou would have been a better choice or perhaps even Sturridge.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/596/exclusive/2012/03/20/2979028/juventus-set-to-make-sensational-summer-move-to-sign-chelsea I know many of you here doubt Goal.com credibility but what if this is legit?I mean Chelsea would be insane to send him on a 1 year loan to Juventus, come to think I myself am doubting this sites credibility although stranger things have happened in the world of football.

I think its important that Chelsea choose not to buy many players in the summer even if there is an exodus of Chelsea players.Chelsea should start concentrate on trying to implement their own youth prospects such as Josh,Kakuta,Piazon etc for first team action Giving players such as Hutchinson,Piazon,Chalobah etc some first team opportunities will allow clubs to be interested for their services on a loan basis.Keeping them on the bench will surely not help at all. We should also not forget about the players who are out on loan.Davila and Kalas need to get loaned to English clubs so that they can adapt to the English game and be confident,Understandably, youth prospects wont get much chances now because we are in a very crucial part of the season but for the next season, its vital that these players are given the chances they deserve. I personally feel that we should just get a proper right back and a creative midfielder in the summer. We don't need any wingers because we have Kakuta and KDB who are both very versatile in play.In reality, its very difficult to see young talents get encouraged and promoted to the first team at Chelsea but with many players leaving in the summer,I think if the thoughts of the future manager are similar to mine then it could be possible.

He is a young ambitious player and I don't blame for being 'selfish',he has assisted many goals also and has scored far too many goals for us as a right winger. He deserves to play as a center forward and now since he is not a regular start as a right winger, being overshadowed by Ramires, his life at Chelsea is more difficult than it already was.I think we should cut him some slack and give this future football star some appreciation rather than constant criticism.
-
True,he can be a very unpredictable player and his erratic performances have shown that.We can rely more on Drogba and maybe Sturridge(if he gets the chance to play cf) but all of us want Torres to succeed here at Chelsea and be the striker he used to be.Our confidence level increases when we see him score goals and provide assists but then there are times where he is just terrible. The only reason why I support Torres is because I admire his modest personality and work rate.Lets not forget his past achievements as a footballer. He did a brave thing by coming here from Liverpool for a hefty transfer amount and we all just want him to do well here.Even if we part ways with him,I just hope he leaves on a good note so that he can succeed in the future.
-
This a football club and not a model agency and Cavani a damn good footballer.
-
yeah he is never going to leave us,that's for certain now.
-
Nah,he was just quoting a City fan.
-
and AVB replaces him?
-
Sturridge has the ability to surprise his defenders and can change his style of play when required. Many fans here are furious because he doesn't pass a lot but lets not forget the goals he has scored for us.As much as I want Torres to start preferably as a winger so that he can carry on the momentum and the good form he is in but picking Torres over Danny would be a mistake.Ramires will definitely be starting as a right winger and Drogba must start as a center forward so the dilemma is choosing between a player who has just started to show some good signs and a young prospect who has been in some bad form lately. Most of us supported Torres when he was in horrific form, its time we do the same for Danny.
-
We are going to win so guys please don't worry, just keep calm and support Chelsea!
-
Hes an exceptional player and I think he deserves to play for our first team next season. He will be perfect for the left winger role, lets just hope Chelsea sell Kalou and Malouda in the summer and don't buy a winger otherwise he will be another disappointed Chelsea loanee
-
To be fair,Torres was very lucky to score those two goals. The keeper wasn't in good form and if he had been,I am sure he would have saved at least one or maybe even both of them. After he got the first goal,Torres was like a completely new player. His dribbling and passing was much better and you could see that spark of confidence in him, which IMO is a damn good sign.He can be a real effective winger for us and maybe could be compatible with Drogba on the pitch.Against Napoli,we saw the two play quite well. It will be very unfair,if RDM picks Torres over Drogba as the lone center forward.Drogba has been really consistent for us and I don't think it will be a good idea keeping him on the bench.Drogba has the ability to score from free kicks and his strength is another positive. We play 3 crucial games in the next 9 days, lets see how our players are going to cope with it and if fatigue is an issue for Drogba then it will be good to know that we have a reliable alternative.
-
Last thing we need is another center back.
-
I am not saying that we should play Torres instead of Drogba but I am sure the team can perform well if Torres plays as a winger with Drogba.Lets not forget we play 3 crucial games(CIty,Spurs and Benfica) in a matter of 9 days.Surely you don't expect Drogba to start for all 3.
-
I am glad that RDM is giving Kalou some chances so that he can prove his critics wrong and in that process help attract interest from other top clubs in the world.Arsenal have showed interest in him but I am sure Chelsea will be reluctant to sell to a rival club. This may be his last season at Chelsea and I will be happy if he leaves on a good note.
-
Lets just pray that Muamba recovers soon and that Bolton beat Spurs.
-
Its not that we all want Torres to start on Wednesday just because he scored today. He played really well today and to keep that confidence going its important that we give him a chance against City.Benching may dampen his confidence but the problem is we cant start him and Drogba. Ramires will be most likely starting as a right winger and I think it will be risky if we change our formation so that two center forwards can play together.Only solution is that RDM plays Torres as a left winger instead of Kalou but then what will happen to Sturridge and the rest. I just feel so bad for RDM,hes going to have a really hard time choosing his best 11.
-
Performance today will definitely increase his market value and maybe perhaps some more clubs will be interested in him.Today we all have seen what he is capable of and if Chelsea decide to part ways with him then I am sure he won't be short of suitors.Lets just hope he continues this good form.
-
I think with figures like Lampard and Terry in the team, you just need a motivator like RDM.Anything more than that will not be really helpful at all.
-
I know under AVB's reign,we complained of our group of players not being world class and all but today I saw what all our players are capable of.For some reason,we were quick and playing some good football.Against Napoli,I saw most of the old guard performing well and now today we were great also. Torres looked like a completely new player after his goal and I am glad hes finally performing for us.I haven't been his biggest fan lately but he sure has proved me wrong. My only advice to him now would be to be careful with his tackling.Don't want to see another red card and disrupt his rhythm. Overall our players played well and most importantly played like a team. Now,they must keep up this good form and lead Chelsea to immense glory.
