  1. The wages are the only thing putting me down.If it is to believed to be anything more than 150k then that's just outrageous.i know we pay Torres 180k a week but we can't make the same mistake twice.I want players to come here for our style and blah blah, hate attracting players because of money. We are the champions of Europe for god sake.100k a week is reasonable.
  2. He is going to join City and earn 200k a week, will score plenty of goals for them and after a year will force a transfer to Real Madrid.
  3. True RDM has mastered the communication part. His democratic managerial style has really helped.
  4. From what I have seen on Youtube, this guy doesn't like to pass the ball at all but his ball control and trickery is just exceptional.
  5. Pep will be our new manager irrespective of RDM's accomplishments next season.Perhaps only winning the Champions League again or Premier league will change the inevitable.
  6. His personal preference is Inter Milan but since they are not competing in the competition we won and can't fetch out more than 25m,he may come to us instead.
  7. If Kagawa joins Utd,I am sure he is going to score against us.
  8. Well then I hope he puts up a good performance because I am honestly tired of listening to excuses of him not delivering.
  9. I agree,he is a very humble man but impatient also.
  10. If Lucas does join us,he will leave us after a few years for Inter and Hazard would do the same but only for Madrid.Better idea would be to play KDB, a true Chelsea fan who will probably pledge his future here for a long time.Commitment just brings out more energy.
  11. I'd really want Chelsea to get Junior Hoilett from Blackburn. He's definitely going to leave that club and I think is available on a free transfer which is another plus. He;s adapted to the premier league quite well and can be a great winger for us.Signing the likes of Hulk and Hazard is tempting but we can't afford to spend 30m+ on every player knowing that FFP will come in place sometime soon or else we should just forget about signing any wingers and rotate Kakuta and Marin.
  12. The Euro 2012 will help us decide whether to keep him or not.If he doesn't score there then we can't expect him to score with us next season.Spain have the best midfield in the world and Torres should score at least a few goals to remain in contention to be both the country's and club's number one striker.
  13. If he doesn't score at least 10 goals before January then he must leave in the winter transfer window.I won't care how many assists he provides, goals should be the only thing on his mind.
  14. wow that's long.Too lazy to read it at the moment but I'll rep you now only.
  15. Arsenal must be so relieved of hearing about his departure.
  16. IF he goes to China,I'd advise his opponents there to wear some protection gear and yeah not try to challenge him for a header. Its for their own safety.
  17. Now with Drogba's exit confirmed, this guy has to start scoring goals for us next season.I won't take any excuses nor will I let anyone defend him.
  18. I hope his new club pays him 300k+ a week.Deserves it!
  19. Let's just hope for your sake that Kalou doesn't confirm his exit as well.
  20. If RDM doesn't win the EPL or Champions League then he is going to get sacked. He'll need to pull of something spectacular once again to change Roman's mind of appointing Pep as our next manager.Roman won't be content with winning the other 5 trophies.
  21. Okay,I am in the mood for writing a long post so here goes. 2012/13 will be a season of new opportunities as we will be in contention for 7 trophies. This means yet again we will be playing many games(that is if we go through the later stages of the competition) but nevertheless there is scope for experimenting.Importantly, the youth players will get their chances unless some new manager comes in and decides to go crazy in the transfer window. The greatest advantage of keeping RDM as our manager is that I'll know that the man will give the youth prospects major opportunities and will show some faith in them.RDM may not be experienced as other potential managerial candidates for this job but the man has the common sense to know the low self-esteem of youth prospects at Chelsea. Being a player himself,he knows what they go through and how difficult it is to feature in the first team squad. He could have easily dropped Turnbull after the Liverpool game for his howler mistakes but he didn't. He still played him against Blackburn and kept his faith in him.He knows that every player is human and mistakes will be made, especially from the young talents.RDM has managed to balance the right mixture of experience and youth at Chelsea. He knows the importance of both and is not afraid to experiment.Bertrand playing LW was one of his experiment and look how that turned out. We all crave for managerial longevity at this club and I think we've finally found the man for the job.Although I'll be naive to think that he'll stay here for 20 years as Roman is just an unpredictable man but still if I'd want anyone manager to be here for that long.it'll definitely be RDM. Now about new signings. We've already signed Marin and KDB,two young potential world class wingers.Rumored to be strongly linked with Hazard and Hulk who both already are world class wingers and are in contention of signing a lethal striker, maybe perhaps Falcao or Cavani.Who knows, its too early to tell.According to me.we just need to buy 2 more players. One has to be a right back and another needs to be an attacking midfielder. We have plenty of wingers in the squad, with Ramires and Bertrand being two great versatile players.I am not sure about signing another center forward,we already have Drogba,Torres,Danny and Lukaku as well as other youth players.Lukaku will be going out on loan next season while either Torres or Drogba will be leaving in the summer.so that leaves us with Danny and Torres/Drogba for the major candidates for the lone center forward role.I personally think Danny will be an instant success as our center forward.Having scored close to 20 goals this season playing as a winger,I can really expect him to flourish for us.He's not afraid to take the odd shots and is more than confident to try his own things and chances.Bringing in a striker will just ruin his chances of succeeding here and may possibly end his Chelsea career. Essien,Malouda,Paulo must all leave in the summer. They have served well for the last few years but they are just surplus to requirements and their departure could help the youth prospects.I wouldn't mind if Kalou stayed because he is probably one of our best squad players but its up to him to decide whether he wants to stay or not. So,I'll leave that decision to him. Overall I expect a great season, the idea of competing for 7 trophies is really exciting and I hope we manage to win them all!
  22. He won't be staying, that I am sure of.He still has some gas left in his tank and wants to feature prominently every game as he still has the ability.I wouldn't mind keeping him and selling Torres off so that Drogba will have the chance to play regularly but he's soon to be 35 and consistency may be an issue. At the end of the day,we have to see what is best for the club in the long run.Bright prospects like Lukaku and Danny need to be given their chances and having too many striking options may dampen their chances. Drogba is truly a Chelsea Legend and we all will miss his energy and commitment but its time we move on.
