  1. I want Danny to play center forward and Torres as a winger.
  2. Could be a great buy for under 9m but anything more than would be just a waste.
  3. Realistically,I don't see Chelsea keeping RDM on a permanent basis. As much as I want him to stay,I just don't see it happening. The board want a high profile manager, who can attract top players and can control players effectively. They want a manager who won't have any problem of getting rid of players and more importantly want an experienced manager.I can't see RDM playing the Bad Cop routine, especially with the experienced players. Now if Chelsea do keep RDM,what will happen to him when the results don't go our way. Will he get sacked immediately and will we appoint another interim manger?I think the Board knows that poor results will be inevitable and it will be better to part ways with RDM now then later. The board appointed RDM as an interim manager because they were looking for suitable candidates.Benitez was available but the fans rightly disapproval made it clear that they had to look for other candidates but then they realized that the performances have improved significantly under RDM and maybe perhaps they should recruit later.Overcoming the Napoli deficit delayed the decision but now with many top managers available, the board will look to resume what they had planned.
  4. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Edin-Dzeko-I-d-be-joining-Juventus-instead-of-Manchester-City-if-it-wasn-t-for-Serie-A-rules-article665721.html
  5. He never wanted to join City, his preferred destination was Juventus but there were some visa problems or something which prevented the deal.
  6. My advice to him would be fewer step overs and quicker passes.
  7. The problem of the arrival of a new manager will be that he will to bring in more new stars and will not be bothered much about our own youth prospects.RDM is doing a good job,he;s giving both the experienced and youth players some chances, more importantly he knows the internal framework of the club which could be very pivotal for tactics.Granted he is not a well known manager but we can't expect the arrival of any world class managers such as Pep or Fabio to guarantee success. RDM has already won us a Cup and has got us to the Champions League FINAL,I doubt a new manager next season will get us this far.
  8. If Roman wants Chelsea to be successful, its time he gives his manager full control. Its embarrassing to see the board buy players which managers don't really need.Torres is a perfect example.
  9. That shows how ordinary they really are.Except for Suarez all their players are just mediocre. They were lucky to win because Terry rarely cocks up plus don't forget he's playing under serious pain of broken ribs. The man is human after all and I am just glad he took the initiative to start and play 90 minutes.Had Cahill or Luiz been fit,the result would have been different.
  10. Turnbull was anyways going to play this game only,RDM wouldn't have played him against Blackburn irrespective of his performance.Blackburn should be a game where all the Champions League starters get to know each other and have a better understanding,so maybe the manager will experiment with a Drogba-Torres combination.
  11. Just saw the highlights and I feel Liverpool were lucky winners last night.Credit to them for shooting on target but otherwise we could have outplayed them had we fielded a stronger side.I am sure we would have thrashed them too if Suarez and whoever plays well for them wouldn't have started.Anyways credit to RDM for mixing youth and experience.
  12. I just hope he doesn't get injured tonight.Any rash tackles by Agger or other former team mates should be immediately penalized.
  13. so he is only going to start against City?
  14. So Liverpool are going to play their youth team tonight because nothing could be worse than their first team.
  15. Juventus haven't lost a single league game this season.Deserve to be champions.
  16. Wow and the media slams us for spending a lot.Bunch of idiots.
  17. Gee,what a dull forum.Makes me feel so proud of being a member of Talkchelsea. We are the better club and better forum site by miles.
  18. It'd be a bad idea to let Drogba leave and sign a world class striker in the summer. The whole point of letting him leave is to allow Danny and Lukaku(if not loaned) chances to play as a center forward. There will be no point getting Cavani and letting Drogba leave while keeping our other center forward alternatives. So if Drogba leaves,I personally don't want Chelsea to sign any strikers because it will be unlikely for the new striker, whoever it may be,to establish instant success at Chelsea and play as well as a 34 year old Drogba.
  19. We can not expect any manager who comes here to be like SAF.SAF is a football legend and not many managers can emulate his abilities.
  20. If we do give him a 2 year contract extension, there is a high probability of him leaving in a bitter manner.Better for both parties,if he leaves this season and more importantly on a good note.
  21. Not many good right backs available in the market.Should keep Iva as our first choice for right back,Paulo as our second and gradually play Hutchinson in that role.
