When we need to play for a draw or look to defend a lead then I think Jose should definitely play Mikel but if we are against bottom half sides then its best for him to be on the bench. Happy with his performance,showed exactly what he's capable of in such kind of games.I don't know when he'll start next but he must start against City at the Etihad.

Completely unfair to criticise him as very few chances were created.Our approach to the game was to get a draw and Torres pitched in by defending whenever he could.

The lineup confirmed our approach to the whole game.I have no issue with Jose's tactic of collecting a draw from these kind of fixtures but then its also important that we dominate our home games and away games to the weaker known opponents. The title race will go down to the wire and the difference between first and second won't be much so a point gained is better than none at all.

true but suppose if he had to choose between United or Chelsea then maybe that factor might just benefit us.

Many top clubs(free spending ones too) will be looking to sign him but we have one advantage which none of the other clubs have-Luke Shaw SUPPORTS Chelsea FC and is fan of the club. I don't know about you guys but I like such players who really like the club and show such kind of passion and desire. Definitely a must sign player.

The reason why we have spent so much is mainly because of the number of managers we've had after Jose. In his first spell here,Jose knew who he wanted and hence spent accordingly and to be honest most of his signings for us have been top notch.Every manager sets out a plan of what kind of players they want and try to get them with the funds available. Our case is very different,managers have the luxury to splash out and get the players they feel will work but unfortunately most of them were told to part ways. I have no complaints with Jose spending because I know he's building a solid team which will last at least 2 or more seasons.Relying upon our youngsters will be a phase he will focus hopefully after he gets his desired starting players. Gradually he'll give our youngsters the squad player role or promising loan spells to prove their quality as a starter.The summer transfer window is ours to dominate,some players will clear the way for world class signings. Till then, Jose will use the quality players he already has and compete for major trophies.Also in terms of success this season I really won't be disappointed if we finish this season without winning a trophy.I won't consider it as a failure as I very well know that the next season will be for ours to rule.At the moment,we have a good squad but next season we'll have a very good one with each position being covered by some really lethal players.(including the ones we have at our disposal now)

The problem at Chelsea is that we are not a selling club and have never looked to benefit from sales of players,especially consistent performing ones. There were times when we could have sold Essien for a large sum but chose not to because we believed in him and thought he'll get back to his normal self.Unfortunately that did not happen. Now I am not comparing Mata to Essien but the situation now is that we have the players to replace Mata.Also Mata isn't playing his preferred position,he's been forced to adapt but that really is not a problem this season because he wants to prove to his manager that he can improve and be a better all round player but what will happen next season.Will Mata still be comfortable with this kind of role and knowing that he isn't the best at that this kind of adapted role,does it really make sense playing him for the whole team in general? Mata is a class player and is worth the 30m+ PSG are offering, but whats more important is that the Spaniard enjoys his football and gets to play every week. We all love Mata here,he's a gentleman and loves the club a lot but if we really look at this whole situation,a move to PSG or some other top club is the best decision for both parties. I know its sad but we have to accept the facts and deal with it.

Ba was never in Jose's plan for this season.Jose desire for a striker was well known and his failed pursuit of Rooney lead to the signing of Eto'o(the next best alternative) Jose had planned for 1.Rooney,Torres and Lukaku. 2 Torres,Eto'o and Lukaku. The young Belgian was always in contention to play for us.So yeah,I think its quite unfair to blame Jose for sending Lukaku out on loan.

Yes but it was a decision that just had to be taken. I am sure he would have been part of this squad had Arsenal not signed Ozil. Jose was prepared to send Ba out on loan to Arsenal but the Ozil transfer made him change his mind. So I guess it was really just bad luck.

He should have chosen Brazil over Spain then I would really be excited for this transfer.Most of his international team mates would have been here and the world cup games plus the international friendlies would have given him the time to play with Willian,Oscar and Ramires. This would have helped form an early understanding between him and the attacking players and the possibility to shine for both country and club.Sadly it didn't happen

If we lose this one then we should not panic about the title race or even a top 4 finish. We have the depth quality to bounce back in the second half of the season and knowing how competitive this league has become,I am certain our rivals will slip up often as well. Keep the faith and just support the team through thick and thin.
