Nah. I don't think he's tactically disciplined and aggressive enough to be playing in a 2-man midfield. He's much better in a 3-man midfield system.

I don't think the 4-2-4 is ever going to work, even if we get the players for it. Otherwise, we'll just get dominated and outplayed, especially in midfield. The players will have to work super hard, be tactically competent and extremely focused for 90 minutes in every game ala Atletico Madrid.

There are suggestions that Mourinho, unsurprisingly, tried to divert attention away from the result and performance by having a go at Conte. Does he have to be such a sore loser every time he loses a match? Even Fergie wasn't this bad! And while managers will continue to use diversion tactics, Mourinho is insulting everyone's intelligence by thinking people will fall for his, after all the BS he has pulled for every defeat down the years. On top of that, if he's really pissed at Conte for doing what he did, then he might just be the biggest hypocrite in the world. This is a manager who shakes the opposition's manager hand before a game is finished and then walks away into the tunnel - the incident with Paul Lambert and Roy Keane when we played Aston Villa at the Bridge two seasons ago comes to mind.

If people need proof that Mourinho is delusional, just show them that. It's none of our business now but does he really think everyone is stupid and can't see what's actually happening? He has continued to insist after every bad game/performance that his side play well. Every single time without fail.

It's clearly better for some of the players. Helps to hide their deficiencies. And imagine what we can do when we actually get players who fit the current formation.

Capped off by the sore-loser exchange with Conte and delusional post-match comments. It's like you said, I'll always appreciate what he did for the club but I'm glad that he's no longer managing us. Such a toxic and poor character and plays aimless and uninspiring football.

It does look like Fabregas doesn't have a future under Conte and if we're going to sell him, it'll probably be next summer. No way it'll be in January unless we can somehow find a quality replacement from somewhere.

Afraid that we'll see the mental weakness that we saw against Liverpool and Arsenal again. Maybe it would be useful if Conte or one of the coaches sticks Mourinho's comments at Leicester last season in the dressing room, where he tried to claim all the credit for the success we had in 2014/15.
