As I said in the Spurs game thread, by playing Ramires at RW against City and Spurs, we seem more concern about containing them rather than letting them worry about us. By playing Sturridge on the left and Ramires on the right yesterday, we looked like a complete broken team going forward!

He'll be 28 this year AND I'm not even sure he can be classified as a 'World Class' player. He really only had that one good season at Inter under Mourinho. Other than that, he's been a disappointment.

Honestly, can someone explain to me what was the substitution of Luiz for Bosingwa all about?! I really fail to see the logic in that and we ended wasting a sub!

It just simply wasn't good enough. No intensity. No urgency. No penetration. Completely awful performance. In addition, Ramires has been employed at RW to counter City and Spurs's threat down that side recently and in doing so, we ended up being the one more concern about them rather than letting them worry about us. In the end, RDM fielded players in positions that they are completely uncomfortable with! We looked more concern in containing the oppositions than taking the game to them!

There is going to be a major meltdown in all the Chelsea forums if Luiz leaves!

Thanks for that but our PL record against London teams this season kinda even that out: vs QPR = LOST 1-0 vs Arsenal = LOST 5-3 vs Spurs = DREW 1-1 vs Fulham = DREW 1-1 P4 W0 D2 L2 We have the worst points tally in the 'London Derby Mini League'!

We still beat them last season.

He has actually scored 3 goals in last 6 appearances from club and country. Not too shabby.

It all depends if he's willing to play be squad player like Giggs and Scholes do at United. Otherwise, we'll have to let him go.

Have you actually watched Pjanic play? He is definitely not a winger. And even if he's a (right) winger, what's wrong with having another one along with KDB? Do you expect KDB to play every game, stay injury free/suspensions etc?!

Oh, a video on Miralem Pjanic. Some may say that he's similar to Josh and of course Mata but I don't see the problem of having another player like that.

Do we have a choice? RDM had to use one sub early on because of injury. Pretty sure if Ivanovic had not got injured, Sturridge might have come for a MF with Ramires moving into midfield. Also, I do think all the criticisms on Ramires is a tad harsh. Granted that he did not have the best of games but let's not forget that he was playing in an unnatural position at RW.

What about Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen? He looks like a really good prospect.
