Went absolutely bonkers last night watching the game and still buzzing from it as well. Absolutely proud of the performance last night. Best night of football emotionally since that 4-4 draw against Liverpool.

Also, not sure if this has been mentioned but Mazzarri's ban was overturned after his successful appeal. He will now then be in the dugout for Napoli tomorrow. What a fantastic news it was!

But he didn't exactly play a lot before that, did he? Start him and RDM can probably ring the changes later on in the game if he gets tired or if we need to make any tactical changes.

Not sure about the specs though. Then again, I'm not exactly one into fashion anyway.

Have seen some people suggesting Essien for the DM role but I don't quite agree with that. He can do the job there but he's not out-and-out DM. Mikel has to play in that role for me in this match. Somebody is gonna have to miss out in the midfield. It's a tough choice but we cannot repeat the same mistake like AVB did at San Paolo with the midfield selection.

It's getting annoying with him continuously talking up the English clubs.

If the Napoli fans are afraid of this, then what about us?!

1. Need to keep the ball better. Too many passes went astray today against Stoke. 2. Playing a DM is a must. Paid a major price for not having one at San Paolo. 3. Whatever happens on Wednesday, want to see 100% effort and determination for this game. 4. Not being a pessimist here but getting KOed by Napoli may be a blessing disguise.

Late on this and don't think I've commented on this yet but pleased to get the 3 points. Not the best of performances especially against 10 men but they were basically parking the bus anyway. Judging by some comments here, of course it would be nice if we can play well from now till the end of the season considering we haven't been doing for 2-3 months(!) but generally, getting the 3 points is all that matters at this stage of the season.

Yeah but does he get into goalscoring situations as much as Suarez does? I mean Suarez can basically create chances for himself and always get himself into plenty of great goalscoring situations but his finishing is just completely rubbish. It's either he score(which is rare) or he completely misses the target!

With his poor conversation rate in the Premier League, I find it rather bemusing that he managed to score 111 goals in 159 appearances for Ajax. Is the goalpost in the Eredivisie bigger than Premier League or something?!

He was absolutely superb yesterday. The amount of times he found himself in attacking positions was just ridiculous. With a bit of luck yesterday, he could have easily had scored 2 goals.

Wasn't too pleased when I saw him benched yesterday because without him in the starting XI right now, we don't have that extra bit of class in the final third. But when he did come on, he was always looking to make things happen and it was lovely pass to setup Drogba for the goal.

One of these days, his long range strike is gonna enter the back of the net.

They have a clone of Delap in Ryan Shotton. Not sure if he's available though.

A consistent performance from now till the end of the season would be nice considering we haven't done that since last November! But generally, getting a win at this stage of the season is all the matters IMO anyway.

Agree 100%! I kinda freak out when he said he still wants to be No.1 for us for the next 10 years!

Don't really care who starts(except maybe Bosingwa) for this game. Just get that 3 points and I'll be happy.

IF things don't look like improving in the remaining 2 1/2 months of the season, think it's best we sell him off. As much as he works hard sometimes, don't think we can wait for him to get back to where he was IF we are to challenge at the very top level again.

In short, we should probably just go get half of Bilbao's starting XI at Old Trafford yesterday. They would easily replace half of our starting XI right now!
