Same here. Wouldn't say he is shaky as hell as he's only played 2 games in CL so far but I definitely still have question marks over him in Europe. That is why I suggested the other day to go with Ferreira-Ivanovic-Terry-Cole as the back 4. Doubt many will agree with that though.

If you thought the PFA shortlists were bad enough, you should take a look at that one above. No Drogba in there but you have people like Lennon, Young, Bale, Silva, Glen Johnson and some other ridiculous nominees in those lists. Silva has only been in PL for 2 seasons. Bale still inconsistent. Young yet to fully prove himself & Lennon, what has he done?! Drogba has performed year in year out & terrorized defenders down the years & more importantly, won PL titles, which none of them have! Yet, he misses out. Farcical!

Mata & Modric may be playmakers but they are not 100% the same. One plays in CM and dictate the play/tempo from there & can get forward to support the attack if needed while the other plays further forward & look to play through balls for the forward players.

Why are people even comparing Bale/Mata with Modric? It's not like they are the same type of players.

Arsenal & Man United have only taken 3 points from 2 games against Wigan this season. Liverpool took only 1 while we got 4, and in controversial circumstances too. Gladly take that and run.

Well played Wigan. Certainly proved their win over United was no fluke. Back to back wins against United & Arsenal is just incredible.

Slightly disagree there. He can definitely provide a lot to us in the wide areas with his pace & crosses which we are so desperately lacking right now BUT do think we need a pacey wide players with bags of trickery instead. Someone like Ronaldo, Nani, Hazard etc. Someone of that ilk.

Think some people are too quick to jump into the RDM bandwagon. No doubt that yesterday was superb result but let's forget about the past few games too - Wigan, Fulham, Benfica - where we played poorly & just managed to scraped through with a little bit of luck from the referee. Won't be long before all the doubts creep in again IF we lose heavily to Barcelona & Arsenal this weekend. Having said that, at the moment, gotta give him credit for what he has done so far since replacing AVB. Contrary to reports after AVB's sacking, stating that RDM was even unpopular with the players, well that was certainly BS as he look to have a close relationship with the players. Important factor here is as he certainly made allies with all of them or most of them at least, which AVB failed to do so & created his own downfall. Adding to that, he has gave us back the belief, confidence, resilience and more importantly, restoring pride back to Chelsea after all of that seem have disappeared under AVB.

If Luiz is out for Wednesday, which is looking very likely, I would personally go with a back 4 of Ferreira-Ivanovic-Terry-Cole.
