Wouldn't be so sure about that one IMO.

No doubt whoever we get as our manager will play a major part in who we get in the summer transfer window but we'll also have to convince them that we won't turn into another Liverpool. There has to be a plan, a direction as to how the club will move forward for the future so that we'll retain our credibility and attractability even if we were to miss out on CL this year.

I can say the same for Drogba but guess whoever plays against Barcelona, we will have to hope they turn up and be at their absolute best. Otherwise, we won't have much of a chance.

Problem I have with Drogba playing against Barcelona is you never know whether he's going to turn up or not. IF he doesn't, the team will basically be playing with 10 men as he does nothing but stroll around the pitch and make friends with the opposition players!

Aah, but Torres may also know their weaknesses and can use his pace(if he still has them) against the Barca back four who aren't exactly the quickest.

Yup. One great thing about David Moyes is he demands 100% commitment and effort from every single player in every game and judging by how our players have half-heartedly performed in the last 1 3/4 season, I say we could do with someone like Moyes. Only question mark I have on him is his tactical capabilities of switching things around before games against certain opposition or during games. Other than that, I think he's a very good manager, perhaps even underrated to a certain extent and deserves his chance at a bigger job(no disrespect to Everton). Have a feeling he might take over Spurs IF Redknapp leaves for England.

I would do the other way round mainly because Drogba has a good record at Wembley in the FA Cup. 5 goals in 5 FA Cup appearances there.

Don't think getting Martinez would be cheap.

I believe that we should be looking at other options out there first who are better and more consistent than Johnson. Do agree with some of the things that BosnianLion pointed out regarding his play and he can switch off quite easily sometimes defensively. That is why Mancini doesn't trust him and give him more game time.

You can include Cole & Meireles in as well. Said this before, they will get a YC and we all know why...
